Snuggery River Roadhouse McHenry

My friend and I tried this little gem on the river. The outdoor patio was neat and clean! Every table had a great view of the river. We loved the music which was the perfect level. We could hear each other without yelling.
Our server was sweet and attentive. The food portions were generous. The prices very reasonable.
It was a gorgeous day. We never felt rushed. We are looking forward to coming back soon!

wmWe ordered the haddock dinner. It was AmaZinG! Good sized portion. Not too much breading at all. The Coleslaw.... best at any restaurant so far. I am partial to my grandmother's coleslaw so most places is just terrible. Their's tastes fresh, looks fresh and it was really good!

What a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Seated on the patio overlooking the chain-of-lakes watching the speedboats whiz by. Food was well prepared and prices reasonable. Even the cocktails didn't break the bank. A very lovely experience.

Food was amazing! I ordered from Uber eats and they packaged everything nice so nothing leaked out, and the food was oh sooo good! Chicken strips were amazing! Best in town! And the burger you can customize to how you want it prepared. Good if you don’t want any pink in your burger. It’s a must have! Keep up the good work Snugg staff!!!

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the bartender was excellent, and nice. Your pizza was so tasty! The pasta was so delicious!

What a fun summer place to visit with awesome food and great service. I had the Sunday special, beer can chicken with popping Cole slaw and it was delicious. Definitely on my visit again list .

I have yet to be disappointed by Moretti's. This McHenry location is right on the river and lots of fun. Good atmosphere for the family as well.

Great service. It was busy. We had a table of 11 and were still seated within 30 minutes which was well within their estimated wait time. Even though they are short staffed, everyone who served us was in a great mood. Took their time with us and got everything right.we had pre lunch drinks at the bar. Aaron was an amazing bartender. Never seemed stressed even with a big crowd. Food was delicious. Even the pickiest of picky kids said it was the best chicken fingers she's had and finished her whole meal. Great experience all around.

We have eaten here a few times now and enjoyed ourselves every time. The way it's placed right off the river makes the atmosphere hard to beat. It is definitely one of our new favorite local spots!

Nice place for happy hour after enjoying the river walk. Great atmosphere and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Not a deal breaker, but I would like to see more options other than soda or mixed drink juices for the kids. Mocktails or something to that effect. But still a great place for food and drinks.

Our server Reese was outstanding! There were 4 of us. My husband and I had great pizza! My brother and sister in law enjoyed their chicken! We're never disappointed when we eat here.

Drinks were great. Good choices to choose from. Fish was excellent. Large portions. Could share if you wanted a lighter portion. Service was good & attentive. Loved the scenery too.

We had a great time. We went here after we went to Twisted Limits Escape Rooms. The service was great. The view was great, looking at the river and the did was great. I love pizza it is a weakness for me. It saw they had a Mac and cheese pizza. I love regular pizza but I had to try the Mac and cheese pizza. It was amazing. 5 out of the 8 people in our group order it. We all loved it. One had a chicken wrap he liked it. The other two had burgers all the food was very good. We started out with the cheese curds and dough nuggets. Can you say yum.

All in all a great experience with a great view and great service.

What a lovely dining experience. Great pizza. Ate outside and watched the sun go down off the pier..Eating outside, by the water is such a treat.

What a beautiful location, it was snowing over the lake, so pretty. The food was delicious too, we had the jumbo buffalo wings with ice cold beer and then the fish and chips and a Jack Daniel’s burger. Everything was amazing. Can’t wait for patio season!

We have been coming to Moretti’s since it was another restaurant. First, it’s close to where we live. I can see the roof of our house from the outdoor seating. That’s convenient. However, we keep coming back for the thin crust, tavern style pizza. Tuesdays are half price pizza night with the purchase of a drink too. The crust is crispy. Easy to eat sitting at the bar or at a table, as you don’t have to worry about the crust flopping over and spilling it’s toppings all over. We have had dine in and carry out here. Each time the pizza is hot and fresh tasting. If you come in the warmer months, sit outside to watch the boats and jet skiers. The view is really good at sunset too. We will definitely be back.
