Goodwill Industries of Northern Illinois

I love coming to this good will, everything is clean and the staff are really nice. I always tend to find things that are really interesting and/or useful. Though I especially love looking through their movies, as they have such a large amount, that it ends up being an adventure of its own. While I tend not to and come out for the sole purpose of going to goodwill if I am in the area I will definitely stop by.

Very very organized hands down the best goodwill I've ever been in. The shelfs had only a little on them (compared to a hundred thing on one shelf at other stored). The prices were a little different then other stores. Such as dvd were more expensive but had a huge variety. However the clothes are cheaper here and very organized. Also liked that they had different house items in bulk and at a good price. Will hands down be going here again

I always find wonderful things at this location. I'm come all the way from Lake Geneva to enjoy the experience. The one located in Delavan Wisconsin shouldn't even be considered a thrift store. For the past 8 years it's been horrible. You can by all the same stuff online or in store for the price they have it listed for. Now this location is what Goodwill use to be about and is one of the last ones remaining with good items and not junk. Also the prices are also priced accordingly. Whoever is management here is should have a gold trophy. They should be team leadership for all Goodwill's so the rest of them can bring the heart ship Goodwill use to represent.

I love this store's location & mission for creating jobs, scholarships, and reusing community items. Goodwill stretches my family budget, I get the best kids & home decor items here. This store is cleaner than others & employees are friendly.

I love shopping and exploring the McHenry store, I always find great deals esp when it comes to decorations for the holidays or clothes durning the nifty fifty sale. Everything in the store is fairly priced and in good shape .I like the fact that the clothes are priced by category and not all priced individually , it is alot easier to shop this way rather then look for the tags. Also like being able to try on the clothes before buying them..
One of my favorites is the color of the week which saves you even more money.😊
All around McHenry goodwill is a great place to shop with a friendly staff , clean well kept store , if you are looking for some great deals def check out McHenry goodwill.😊

Great place except it seems to be falling apart now. Last time here power went out all registers went down and couldn't buy anything. This is second attempt and fire alarm went off (2nd false alarm of the day according to an employee) now we are all outside waiting to get their costume.

I go to Goodwill McHenry almost every time I go to McHenry for shopping. Sometimes there's a ton of stuff to look at, other times it is sort of picked over - but, hey, it's a charity thrift store and how much stuff they have and what they have is going to depend on what is donated to them. I always manage to find something to buy, even if it is just a coffee cup, sweatshirt, knickknack, basket or baking dish. I take it home, use it for a while, wash it and then donate it back. If you want new and guaranteed availability, go to Wally World or Kohls. Otherwise you can find lots of perfectly usable merchandise for a fraction of the price at Goodwill and your money will help Goodwill to boot.

We purchased a purse, dress, and pair of reversible shorts for just over $20. Store was clean and well organized.
