A great long trail, there are moderate hills in places, and the whole trail is gravel.
There is a dog park and a small craft field for model airplanes.
Very scenic and beautiful

Shhhh don’t tell anyone, it’s the best place for a sunset. It’s so lovely here with free parking and great hiking trails.

A wonderful prairie. The main parking lot appears to be at the model aircraft area on the map. The paths are wonderful for walking, running, or biking. This is definitely a spot to come check out

One of many parks in the area where you can perfectly spend time actively resting. Perfectly prepared trails for running and cycling.

Very pleasant path, like everybody else is saying, but watch out for ticks! As a group of 3 humans and 1 dog, only 1 human escaped without picking up a tick on the 5.5mi loop today. Wear bug spray and light-colored clothes, stay on the gravel.

Great place to walk on a cloudy day. Not much shade and trees, so it is hard to be there when it's hot and sunny.

This is such a nice beautiful short hike. This trail contains many beautiful flowers and you can see a lake over the trail. I really recommend coming to this trail if you need a quick one.

Great walk on a half gravel/half payment path. Also, it is a wonderful place to take your animals out for a beautiful walk in nature. Oh, and a great place to sit and eat and enjoy the scenery ♡

Beautiful forest preserve spot in Naperville. Tons of wide open prairies full of cool plants, lots of interesting birds. Big loop trail over 5 miles. Right in the middle of everything, a beautiful oasis. Plenty of informational signs. Dog park on one side. Southern DuPage County Regional Trail runs through the park. Part of this forest preserve is a designated Illinois Nature Preserve due to habitat for rare birds.

Nice dog park, plus paved walking and biking path around lake. Fishing and boating. Certain months for boating okay. Only thing I was shocked with is you need to have a permit to use the dog parks in ALL of Illinois that I can see. A far cry from dog parks being free in Oregon.

Great trail system some elevation but not much. Dogs loved it.

If this place didn’t exist, I wouldn’t know what I would have done during the Covid lockdown. I was jogging/walking these paths every morning.

The park is very well-maintained and has clean restrooms, drinking water, and hot-coal disposal containers. The staff and volunteers are friendly and helpful, and they offer guided tours and educational programs throughout the year. You can learn about the history and ecology of the park, and how to protect and restore it for future generations.

The park is a birder's paradise, with over 200 species of birds recorded, including some state-endangered ones. You can see and hear them in the grasslands, wetlands, and woodlands, and enjoy their colorful plumage and melodious songs. The park also has a variety of butterflies, dragonflies, and other insects that add to the beauty and diversity of the ecosystem.

The park is a great place to exercise and stay healthy, with over 7 miles of trails that are open to hikers, bicyclists, horseback riders, and cross-country skiers. The trails are well-marked and offer different levels of difficulty and scenery. You can also bring your dog to the off-leash area, where they can run and play with other dogs in a fenced and safe environment.

Springbrook Prairie park is a place where you can connect with nature and yourself, and have a memorable and enjoyable time. It is a park that deserves your visit and appreciation.

Absolutely gorgeous. So many flowers blooming right now! We saw a beaver house and blue heron, goldfinch, red-winged blackbirds and even a few monarchs. My DH, who is a prairie specialist, loved it and talked about how well they do keeping it prairie and invasive species out. There’s not much shade, so go early or on a cloudy day.

A perfect place for walking, hiking, running, or biking. There is a model aircraft field on the south trail. The area is flat and has lots of beautiful wildlife.

We really enjoyed how easy it was to navigate through this path. This isn’t always the case with the paths out here! We took the kids with their bikes and a little disappointed that the paths were gravel at first. But it worked out well. It actually adds cushion to walking and it didn’t interfere with the girls being able to navigate their bikes. One was even a very new rider.

Beautiful environment with well laid out path, frequent benches, and plenty of clear signage. It doesn't get very far away from the noise of the suburbs, but it's as good as we can realistically ask for

Springbrook is the perfect place to run or bike or, hey, just go for a walk. It's all crushed limestone and very open and safe. The main loop is about 5.4 miles around crossing Book Road twice (once north, once south). There are two primary parking lots: 83rd Street and Plainfield-Naperville Road (which has restrooms); also, there is a smaller parking lot off P-N Road and you can connect from Walmart's lot. There is a little elevation change and Bek Hill which has a nice view of the Preserve. For fun, you can also run under the P-N overpass and get another 3 mile loop, some of which is grass and dirt; that section has a little bridge which is very picturesque.

Lovely place to walk at sunset or sunrise. Colors are spectacular and weather cooler during warmer months. It’s like a mini “central Naperville park” in the middle of busy streets you find solace.

I absolutely love this place. Very scenic with trails where one can run, walk, bicycle. It is beautiful all throughout the year - with different beautiful looks during different seasons.
