Sushi King

We always come on the weekends to enjoy some good sushi. The staff are always welcoming you, when you come in. It does get busy on some days but the wait is rewarding. Every time I come I try something new on the menu.

Sushi King is a great place to eat. Food is good, service is good, and you get all you can eat sushi. How do you go wrong? This is not a top end sushi restaurant but for the cost, it is delicious. I am a frequent visitor. Thanks Sushi King!!!!

I have been a customer here for 8 years and have meals at least once or twice a month at this place. I have always had a great experience with both the staff and of course their menu. The sushi is prepared with extreme care for each customer as ordered. The spicy scallop hand roll is especially good!

Great atmosphere! Food was wonderful. We went in on the all you can eat sushi and it was totally worth it!

Service was great! Portion sizes were phenomenal! Ambience was nice and chill. Prices were spot on for a midwest budget. Presentation was exquisite! The whole experience was friendly and welcoming!

Best sushi in McHenry! Everything was made freshly, and there are plenty of options. Not too many sushi places offer all you can eat. I love how there are pictures of the rolls on the menu (super helpful)! We ordered the Sushi King Roll, the Alaska Roll, and Spicy Tuna Roll. I can literally eat sushi all day, everyday! Lol

My boyfriend & I have been here on multiple occasions. Every time, we actually get sad that we get full so we have to stop eating. Lol! The food is all made fresh on the spot unlike most sushi joints. We usually go for the dinner all you can eat as they have more options that we enjoy. The water tastes a bit like well water so I would advise getting something else to drink but it doesn’t weigh down on the food whatsoever. The place is a bit small but super cozy. They have booths & tables. Their bathrooms smell nice and look clean. I would come here over & over again!

My husband and I have been here many times and it’s always amazing. All you can eat sushi for $30 and it’s amazing sushi! I love the atmosphere they have created, an intimate nook you never would guess is there from the outside.

The all you can eat sushi here is to die for. These pictures are from their all you can eat lunch menu. As you can see, they take pride in everything they send to your table. The taste matches the looks and the service was on point.

I strongly recommend the Eel. The roll pictured is the McHenry roll, also, top notch.

Amazing Sushi and rolls! I went here for my first time 10/11/2020 and it was beyond amazing! My boyfriend and I went again the next weekend, and it still amazing as the first time. Crab rolls, Tuna Sushi, Octopus and many more! I would definitely recommend going for the All You Can Eat Lunch or Dinner specials!

If you definitely like sushi go to this place. All you can eat sushi for a reasonable fee around $30 per person. I know it may sound like a lot, but you won’t be disappointed. Besides the food being delicious, the staff was very welcoming and prompt. First time sushi eaters I highly recommend any of the fried sushi and then venture from there. Or there gyoza is another favorite. Try this place out. It’s a favorite of mine and soon to be many others as well.

We've been here several times and we love it. The chef is amazing and keeps fish fresh constantly.
It makes sense to visit this place for all you can eat in the morning or at least before 3pm. Because the same food but the cheapest price!
All rolls are interesting. But I didn't find some positions spicy but they should be. But it's still tasty! I love this place and I'll visit it again soon!

Their salmon is SO GOOD. Nice and soft and buttery, it’s amazing. I’ve literally ordered like 20 times in the last few months because I can’t get enough.

This is easily the best sushi place I have ever been to! I haven't found a roll I haven't liked. The Crazy Girl may just be my favorite though.

The atmosphere is so cute, very welcoming, and very clean. All of the staff are very friendly and the service is fast. They come past the booths frequently to check how things are, make sure you have enough to drink, take plates away, and pick up more orders.

We have had the All-you-can-eat dinner both times we have been there. The price for all the food and choices is more than fair. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Absolutely amazing sushi, appetizers, etc. My friend and I were long time customers at Kawa but with their decline in customer service and taking away their all you can eat menu we finally decided to come here and were blown away by the lovely staff and amazing food as well as the nice and quiet atmosphere. 20/10 recommend and we’ll definitely be back!

Loved it! Cannot wait to go back. All you can eat dinner for $23.50. Soo worth it! Included starters such as seaweed salad! And ice cream.

So someone told me to try the sushi here and they did not disappoint. I think I will be more. Daring next time. I come. And order things I have never ordered before. But I loved the California rolls and the crazy boy roll. I also ordered their spring rolls and dumplings. They were amazing. I can't wait for Covid to be over so we can enjoy the dine in experience again.

You guys see all the positive reviews so pretty much it speaks for itself. Friendly staff I always have the Sushi and Sushi rolls and I’ve never been disappointed by any of them. Great food, I definitely recommend this restaurant!
