I'm a former manager for Susanne and John. Not only were they great employers the atmosphere was amazing. Great people, good hearts. Their chocolate is amazing. (gained about 10lbs).
When it comes to coffee roasting Susanne is meticulous. I loved roasting days, it smelled like happiness. I miss the espresso bean chocolates.
I miss this place. I moved to the Manasota Key in Florida but always think fondly of them.
Visit this place, it's AMAZING!

Wonderful! Great hot lattes, super friendly service and homemade candy and fudge. I bought souvenirs and they helped me pick out items and bundled them in a cute gift bag.

Always the friendliest people ! They not only have amazing ice cream and coffee, but they have a nice selection of other candies, popcorn and treats! They have many Michigan gifts as well, and the staff is always very helpful! I suggest the Eskimo kisses ice cream!

This place was amazing! They had really yummy ice cream and soo many candies, chocolates, and popcorn to choose from. They had a really nice gifty section too with lots of cool stuff. The two young girls working the counter were so friendly and welcoming, the atmosphere here was great!
This place offers some indoor seating and also had a couple tables outside too. We had a great visit.

I usually get a latte and my granddaughter gets ice cream. Today I tried the affogato for the first time ever and if you like expresso this is the place to enjoy this tasty treat! Next time I go I want to try the chocolate coffee bombs! Sounds like a good way to start my day tomorrow!

This is a store my family and I thoroughly enjoy! Every time we are here from downstate we make it a point to stop in, there are so many nice gifts to take back home to friends and the ice cream & coffee are amazing! Especially love the Affogato! Who would have thought that Espresso over coffee would be so good? YUM!! Thank you for the great experiences over the years! 😊😊😊😊😊

Love everything about this place. Great products. I love the coffee. Once you have made coffee with their beans, you will be forever spoiled. And if you place an order, the service is fantastic. I have ordered gift baskets to be sent and coffee for myself. Each time, my orders were quickly filled and accurate.

LOVE this place. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. The coffee is AH-MAZING so well worth the $. Oh, and the candies/chocolates? Mmmmm, 'nuff said. As an adult I prefer dark chocolate now and they have dark chocolate peanut butter cups! Also they have all kinds of cool gifts, many geared towards being a michigander or a visitor. Coasters, key chains, magnets etc. Also various coffee mugs and even books, books for kids. Gorgeous windchimes as well. If you have not been here you are missing out!

Friendly & helpful staff; they take the time to get to know you!! Hot or iced espresso drinks are made to order and always delish. The Lotus energy drinks are incredible as well as their house made fudge.

Best lattes in town & some of the best scones I've ever had (I normally don't even like them)! My only recommendation would be for them to open a little earlier but then I'd probably gain more weight and go broke, haha. Jessica that works there in the morning during the week is a true delight, as well. You have to try it - it's also significantly cheaper than any chain coffee shop.

Both the ladies working tonight were awesome. They had great recommendations and were extremely friendly and helpful. This place does it all and well. Fudge, candy, chocolate, and candy popcorn. The chocolate was delicious, try the melt aways.

My guy has a tree service and was gifted some Carmel corn from a customer. Oh. My. Goodness. The absolute best Carmel corn I’ve EVER Had ! So light yet still that Carmel corn crisp when you bite the flavor too so delish! This is not like the other kinds that are triple coated and heavy and almost took breaking when you bite. Highly recommend:)

This is the cutest coffee shop I've ever been to, the staff was amazing, the coffee was so good and they have homemade goodies along with a ton of old fashioned candy and cute little gifts. I love this place!!!!

I'm not from Alpena but we went up north for the day for our anniversary we had a blast. We went here for ice cream. The staff was very sweet told us about the place and what all they had. The ice cream was delicious and we bought some chocolates and some carmel corn with almonds in it was amazing as well. We didn't have any coffee cause of time of day. I would not mind trying some. This is a must stop. I hope they ship cause we would like more lol.

Truly the best coffee I ever had.
My first time trying this coffee was when I received a gift basket from North Country gifts. I was amazed!
The caramel corn and chocolates are definitely a cut above the rest. If you have never had any of the coffee I recommend you give it a try. You will never want "Charbucks"..oops!!...I mean Starbucks again.

The quality of their chocolates and coffee are first rate. Churro toffee unique and worth stopping in and their coffee drinks are great. Highly, highly recommended!

Its hard working right next door and not buying all their scones and lotus drinks. Awesome staff who always picks the flavor of lotus drink for me and never disappoint. A great place to stop by or frequent.

I'm sad I didn't visit long before now! Tabetha was a sweet and knowledgeable staff member that wowed both myself and my sister. She really went the extra mile! Thanks to her and the great products, I will be back.

The staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The gentleman even gave us some free popcorn. The ice cream and drinks are delicious and their dips taste great too! I highly recommend this place!
