Fitzpatrick's Hardware Do It Best

I truly appreciate this store and the staff there-in. I’ve been in and out of Fitzpatrick’s, Ace Hardware, Home Depot, and Tractor Supply. Fitzpatrick’s people are the only ones that always acknowledge me and help with enthusiasm. This means a lot as a female in a hardware store that seems to go unnoticed in bigger stores. (Not shaming TS tho bc they have been good to me also.) Brownie points to Fitzpatrick’s bc a gentleman working there thought to tell me about rebar to help meet my needs when I explained what I needed. The gentleman was attentive, creative, and he cut the rebar without additional cost. Another time I came back for more, a young man was really working hard without complaint and the inside guy was super helpful despite being understaffed. The rebar/cutting was not a big money maker for them, but it will certainly make me come back time and again. I also noticed that their brick prices seem lower than all the other stores. I really like this store and will be returning frequently even though it’s the furthest from me of my options. I’m just sorry I don’t have their names to share.

Always attentive to customer needs. If technical help is needed, the correct person is quickly found to lend assistance.

Propane refills and had a very nice worker. On one of the coldest and wet days this guy never once complained about filling so many bottles and talked and laughed and just made you feel comfortable. He made sure they were placed safely in my vehicle. I will use this service again. I hope they know they have a great worker on their team going above and beyond.

They were very helpful and they usually have what I am buying in stock for a reasonable price. It's a clean well run store. Their rental selection looks good.

Love this place. It has everything you need and things you can't find in other places. If they don't have it they will try and get it from somewhere.

Without a doubt the all around best Hardware store in North East Michigan. I've dealt with Nathan and Chris both a handful of times and I'm always walking out the door 100% satisfied. Thanks again Fitzpatrick Hardware.

Update 1: Liked my saw so much went back an bought a second one.
Update 2: Customer service is top notch. Now I have two saws, a trimmer, pole saw, and power broom. The staff, especially Brian, is so helpful and knowledgeable this will always be my goto location.
Update 3: the list of stuff I have purchased is too long to list. Best place to go in town for saws and small engines.

Wanna give a big thanks to this hardware store for making 3 pretty tough months a lot easier, the world needs more local hardware stores. Staff is great and made us feel welcome. WE needed everything from a hot water heater to big chickens and they came thru big time.(and every time) thanx a million for everything' without these guy we wouldn't be as far as we are today. thanx again.

Very nice store, not small at all. Prices are competitive or better than big box hardware stores. The selection​ of items carried wasn't lacking. In fact, I found quite a few items the big box stores didn't carry. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Nice small town, probably family, business. It was a pleasure.

They had a small obscure part that I needed for a small.

They have a pretty good selection of dog toys, our dogs are known to destroy toys very quickly but Fitzpatricks has some of the tougher ones we find around town!

Awesome store a little bit of everything you need it they probably have it or could get it for you and the tool rentals are in good shape and prices are better than others
