Very displeased . i called 10 minutes before the deli closed to ask how much chicken tender baskets were. The lady very rudely told me they had shut down the deli. I have no problem if its closed but the lady on the phone was Just rude about it. You could hear the disappointment in hear voice that a customer wanted something.

Worst customer service experience I've ever had. The lady working behind the counter was so hostile and incredibly rude. I came in on a Sunday afternoon asking to see if they made sandwiches to order. The rude lady acted as if I was being a major inconvenience and proceeded to tell me that she had nothing to make sandwiches with and that everything was either "out" or "frozen." Ok, no problem, I asked to see a menu, maybe it could help me figure out what to order.
"We don't have menus here," she scoffed at me. I asked her what was available to order. Maybe she can verbally just tell me what's available.
"Well, i dont know. What are you looking for?" She tells me...
So me, being completely in the blind just asked her if she has turkey for a sandwich?
"Yes, we have turkey, but like I said, we don't have much. There's nothing to make sandwiches with. If you want to complain I can go get my manager." She says
Okay? I told her I didn't have time to complain to her manager, I just wanted her to help me figure out how I could order food. So i ordered a turkey sandwich with mayo on white bread. Simple, right?
"No you can't have that, our mayo has dairy" she says (I previously asked her if any of her bread or wraps have dairy in them since the person the sandwich is for has a dairy allergy).
I said, "Are you sure? Mayo is usually just eggs and oil they don't usually contain dairy."
"No, our mayo has dairy," she insisted
At this point I didn't even bother to ask her to check the ingredients on the mayo because I felt like just the past 5 minutes of trying to see if she can help me order a simple sandwich was already beyond her capability. I told her thanks anyway, and I'll just carry on and get a couple bottles of water instead.
It wasn't that I didn't get the food or the lack of supplies that made me upset. It was the absolute lack of kindness and rudeness of that lady that completely solidified this experience as one of my worst. Needless to say I will never come back here.

The new "manager" is a joke. I've never seen that place be out of stock of so many popular products as it has been since she took over. I've also never seen so many employees quit, but it always comes back to the same reason: horrible management. The only thing she is managing, is managing to ruin what WAS a very successful business. Always says the products are out of stock from the distributor too, even when other local stores have plenty of it in stock.... she just doesn't know how to order properly

**Edit to original review. We're done with this clown show. They haven't had pretty well anything we want to order in months. Their kitchen equipment is either broken or on fire when we want anything cooked. Their management can't make up their minds on what you can and can't order, and the poor staff must feel like a bunch of monkeys jumping through hoops trying to serve customers and continually tell everyone "sorry we don't have any", or "sorry, we can't cook that, the fryalater was on fire this morning", or, "sorry, management won't let us sell that anymore". Good grief. Highest gas prices in the area, probably trying to make up for the huge loss of profit from the deli.... Dropping from 2 Star to 1 Star **

The food is alright. Pizza is actually pretty good. The main issue is the GAS PUMPS! They are so slow that I've given up the last several times I stopped for gas because someone pulled in on the other side and starts pumping, and it goes from painfully slow, to just barely trickling. The last time I actually filled up, the pump handle clicked when it was full, and the meter on the pump kept going up about another dollar. I then unlocked the handle and pulled it out of the filler tube, and no gas was coming out but the meter was still going. Charged me a little over two dollars extra. I went inside just to let them know there was an issue with the pump but they just starting arguing, even though I never asked for a refund or anything. Oh well. Will probably be getting all of our gas elsewhere.

False advertising… the “manager” refused to offer the deal. Blamed it on them not knowing how to change the sign! Is this illegal?

If I could give 0 stars, I definitely would! My family and I have been going here for over four years and let me say this, the girls that work there are EXTREMELY rude and ignorant ( all but one, she's nice & the guy that works there is always so friendly, thank you for that ) For no reason at all. You could be kind as heck like my family is and they are still rude to you! What kind of customer service is that? You need to retrain these girls. My family and I will NOT be returning. We'd rather travel to Augusta and KNOW that we are getting treated like humans. Absolutely disgusting behavior from your employees.

Store is in violation of the law for false advertising, has a clear sign out front with specific pricing, and the employees say the manager will not allow them to sell at that price! their explanation is that the company was sold, and their manager will not allow it! Don’t advertise a product at a specific price, and then refused to sell it at that price because of the managers opinion! The pizza was old and looked horrible, probably a good thing I don’t buy it!

Dumpster fire is the first phrase that comes to mind. The store used to be a friendly home town store with an inviting atmosphere. It’s amazing what a change in management can do. Now nearly all the employees have left from disrespectful treatment and abysmal management. It only takes one bad apple to ruin the whole thing.

My husband has been going to this location for 20 years. He continued being a great customer after the business changed hands, going from Peaslees quick stop to maritime farms. Today a new policy of mandatory shoes was put into place, ( mind you he has not worn them into the store for 20 years) instead of simply telling my husband politely he was yelled at upon entering. The main cashier at the time was Desiree, she was completely out of line. She new my husband from his trips to the store and had no right to speak to him in that manner. He has never been rude to her. The new manager came out and instead of correcting Desiree she also yelled at my husband. If this is the way customers are to be treated then this is not the store for me and my family.

Stopped here on the way through. Bought smokes. Would've got food too as they have a kitchen but I needed to use the restroom and they said they didn't have one. But... they have a Diner. Who has a Diner and no restroom? Well never stop her again unless serious emergency.

Will never be giving them my business again. Every time I go in there their rude and wouldn’t even let a toddler use their bathroom. I don’t care if you don’t let grown people use it bc of these stupid COVID restrictions this was a child! Common decency people how about you get some.
