They don’t recommend unnecessary service. Fosters does what they say they will and have always done a great job fixing all the vehicle trouble I’ve brought them.

Pricing is great and this place is not out to take advantage of folks which is awesome! It would be very hard to even consider taking my vehicles anywhere else since fosters does such a great job!

Oh and one more thing: The staff here has a culture of being friendly and taking care of the people they serve. It’s such a blessing to interact with such friendly folks.

Dave is very honest and upfront. He also always greets with a smile, which im sure is hard to do sometimes, dealing with people all the time in that line of work.

Dave and the rest of the staff are top notch. Had my vehicle diagnosed and back on the road in a couple days. Honest, affordable, and communicative. That’s all you can ask for in a shop!

This place and the people that work there are amazing, they did a fantastic job with everything I needed done. They are super courteous and have been great about addressing a couple of follow up issues I've had. I will never go anywhere else. I would definitely recommend.

Foster’s garage is the best shop in Michigan. They finished the repairs in a very reasonable amount of time, the price to replace the engine in my 17 Subaru was more than fair. If you have any issues they stand behind their work 100%. Foster’s garage will be the only place I go, and the only place I’ll recommend to friends and family.

Best mechanic, they are very reasonably priced. The guy I spoke to, who I believe is the owner has over 30 years experience. he guarantees his parts and labor, to be of the upmost qualit, and I believe it. I've been there 2 times for 2 different repairs. And I highly recommend this place to all.

I was referred to Fosters Garage by a random person so I did a little research online before I decided to give them a try and I couldn’t have been happier with my decision!! I will NOT take my truck anywhere else as long as I’m in or near Jackson. Dave and his crew do great work and at a price that that won’t break the bank! By far the best mechanic shop I’ve ever used! Dave and his crew were so patient with the repair of my Explorer. We had to source rare parts for the repair and they worked with me the entire time. Pricing was extremely reasonable as well. Thanks again!

So grateful a friend referred me to Dave. We needed a new alternator and another place in town wanted to charge us double the average cost! I called up Fosters garage and he found us the parts we needed, got us right in, and was able to do it for less than the average cost! He was honest about the time it would take, about the parts, and the service was great! When we got the van back they had even fixed our problematic electric doors without me even mentioning or asking for them to be fixed! They are such good people here! Honesty can be hard to find and they have it!

I dropped off my Dad’s 2006 ranger that needed alignment and was leaking oil. They had it repaired in less than two days before they weekend so If I needed it before the weekend I could get it. Really good service and very reasonable cost. I will highly recommend Fosters Garage to anyone in Jackson.

My experience with Foster's garage was a great one! I am from out of town and my car started malfunctioning while I was there visiting my father. I knew no one to fix the car. They were recommended by someone local. They got it in as soon as they could and fixed it.

Foster's Garage is one of the few places left where they will treat you fairly, do well above-average work, stand behind their work and above all else they're honest. If you are in need of an A1 mechanic job this is the place to go. They probably will not get you in on the very day that you go in and see them. They're that busy and there's a reason they're that busy. They're that good! I would definitely give this place a 5-star rating!!

Was planning on having to put so much money to fix my car's alternator. To my surprise it was a fraction of the cost I was quoted to by a friend at another place. Foster's Garage was very nice and respectful to a low income single mother...they have all my business when it comes to my car. I deeply appreciate everything Foster's Garage did for me.

Took my step daughter's Jeep in for a bad oil leak on a Friday, car was diagnosed and parts ordered, and had it back by Monday (they're closed on the weekends).

Got it home and noticed a dark fluid still leaking from the bottom. Upset, we took it back because we figured there was still an oil leak. They looked at it, determined there was transmission fluid leaking (it was super dark and looked like oil because it old and a bit burnt) and they decided to fill the fluid back up and replace the transmission lines FREE of charge.

Upon picking it back up, they were even able to hoist the car up and let me inspect the work they did with the oil pan and the transmission lines.

We've had the car back a week now and it's running great with no leaks from anywhere. Great work and great service.
