Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great experience at Cracker Barrel in Jackson, Michigan!!! Had the spicy catfish fillets, hash brown casserole and fried okra along with the cornbread muffins. Oh my goodness! It was so yummy. The fish was cooked perfectly, so flaky and served nice and hot!! Our waitress was a mature lady and so friendly, and on the ball. She checked on us often and asked if there was anything she could do for us. Keep this lady on your staff!! She is wonderful!!

The Catfish was very good, the okra was fried correctly. Our server was great. She was Nice, Helpful, anticipated our drink needs before we did. It was a wonderful experience

This is the best Cracker Barrel I have been in. I love the old country feel. I love the store in the restaurant. It gives you a chance to shop while you wait to be seated. I greatly understand with great food and country feel almost feels like home. In the store I love the many choices of soda. I can't wait to return. Hopefully soon.

Stopped in while out shopping nearby. Portions were huge and food was delicious. I highly recommend the stuffed pancakes and watermelon lemonade. Wandered the store for a bit as required when visiting. Would go back again.

Absolutely delicious. Grilled catfish, turnip greens and pinto beans. Can not forget biscuits and cornbread. Amazing!

The food and drinks were great! I got chicken and dumplings along with a French toast latte. My waitress was named Meadow and she was so so sweet and I loved her sm 😁 I don't live in Jackson but I'd definitely do the drive back here!!

I love Cracker Barrel. Best pancakes ever. The service is always great. I love the decor of the restaurant. The store inside is a mix of great prices and very expensive. I did buy a quilt a couple of years ago, and I still love the quilt and sleep with it almost every night. It is so comfortable! The bathrooms clean the vast majority of the time. The water is hot on tap, and it's refreshing to have hot water to wash your hands well while traveling.

If you get lucky enough to get Tessa as your server here you will be very pleased! Could not have asked for more attentiveness to us! She was super sweet and offered to give coffee to go on top of all the refills at table! It's hard to find someone who will see that you get your food while it's still warm so to have this over the top kindness was so wonderful!

Our service was excellent. The place was SUPER CLEAN, mega friendly (Disney- esk) food was hot, yummy and there was a ton. Definitely like biscuits better than the cornbread- but I suppose that is preference.

We love eating here while traveling(none near home),and they never disappoint. So much better than fast food and it's fun.

Went with my mom who hasn't been there in years. She was so happy with the food and the store that now I have to take her back again. Great job guys!

All time favorite when I am on the road trip. Pull over and grab a plate instead of fast food joint.

Another delicious meal at a Cracker Barrel. Two things could have made it better. Our vegetable sides arrived late. The restaurant was a bit cool.

The food was served hot and tasted good. Although they were busy the server was spot on and attentive.

As always, the food was amazing, but I feel the need to acknowledge our server, Tessa. Now days it’s hard to find employees, especially an outstanding one. She was so attentive in every way not only with our table but to all of the tables she was serving (busy lunchtime) She definitely needs to be recognized as an outstanding employee!! Great job, Tessa. You are a stand out!!!

Friendly staff, quick service. I got the chicken fried chicken dinner which is amazing and they give you a big portion for the price.

One of the Best meals I have had in a long time! Service was Great! My two Favorite things eating & shopping!! Lol!

Stopped for lunch. I was seated right away. No real wait before my server Audrey stopped. She did an excellent job. My chicken was great. My only problem came at checking out. I had a brand new Cracker Barrel gift card. It would not work in the card readers. However, the gal took the time to punch each number in the computer. The card worked then. A big Thank you to her. Unfortunately I did not get a name. An overall great experience except for the gift card. That is not the first time with one of Cracker Barrels cards.

Great southern style food! The chicken tenders were awesome! Not bad on price either. Even had leftovers to take home. Service at this location was okay but the food made up for it.

The food was so delicious 😋 I had breakfast. I absolutely love the pancakes, this is my favorite place to get pancakes. The service was great and the restaurant was clean. The store has the most beautiful snow globes! I purchased one for a wedding gift.
