Gus' Mt. Clemens Coney Island

What a great place! Awesome atmosphere, staff is super friendly (one of the cooks came out have some lunch and he welcomed us as well) and the food was fantastic! I had a couple of coneys with cheese, onions, mustard and my wife had a Reuben. We shared some chili cheese fries. All were delicious. The decor is awesome with all kinds of DC and Marvel pictures, action figures, etc. Totally awesome. We'll be back

If you love good comfort/diner food, family-friendly customer service and Superheroes, then you need to come to Gus'. The superhero-related artwork and displays caught my eye, but I really didn't want to leave once I sat down.
The wait staff is friendly and kind and they really took care of their customers. Many of them being regulars.

So happy you are open on Sunday now! Food was great, felt bad for our waitress as she was the only one serving ATM. But she did a great job! This last Sunday was a great breakfast!

Gus Coney Island always has a different atmosphere which is friendly and caring. Their servants aim to please and their food is well prepared. Apparently their cooks are the boom! I would highly recommend this restaurant as I have been eating here for close to five years and always feel welcome.

Solid place. I was there as a non-local but the service was excellent, they made sure I was taken care of multiple times. Food was fresh and delicious, apologies that I forgot the photos this time. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and cheese fries. The atmosphere was nice as well, a little banter between employees and regulars. It just adds that extra layer of warmth to the place. Check it out for sure if you find yourself in the area or on jury duty across the street like I was.

Best place to eat in mt. Clemens! Ask for tommie! She will hook you up! Best burrito ever and perfect burger on kids menu. They did a great job!

Tried Gus Coney Island today while waiting for the parade and honestly it was the highlight of the day. (Parade was nice to, what we could see because people are so inconsiderate). My dad said the Western Omelette was the best he's had in a LONG time and trust me when I say he's a picky guy! My Pita Fajita was okay, I don't think it was anything against them, just wasn't for me. I'd definitely consider many other menu options had we been dining in. Somethings just don't taste too good as a carry out so I definitely want to go back and dine in. Atmosphere was interesting....lots of comic book characters, marvel, etc. So of your into that sort of thing than it's definitely the place for you! Overall would recommend!

I got an eye-opener special #2. and pancakes. I liked it too much. That I liked more was the hash brown.

They were super busy with mock trial at the courthouse. Very friendly and fast. Had a cheeseburger with everything.

Quick fast and friendly. I just enjoyed an awesome patty Melt with chili cheese fries with shredded cheese. Very happy guy today!

Great place to eat! Took all my kids out to lunch yesterday and our food and service was fantastic! The waitress was new but she was on point and brought us everything we needed with a smile on her face the whole time and my kids can be needy. We loved the food and the atmosphere.

If you are a Sci Fi, comic book/graphic novel aficionado, you will love the atmosphere.

My friends and I stopped here after the beach for a quick lunch. Absolutely amazing, kind service, food was largely portioned and filling + very affordable pricing. Would definitely come back again!

They were so sweet it was our last day in Michigan we were so hungry and they were supposed to be closing in 19 minutes and they stayed after for us 30 minutes

Marvin is THE BEST!!! We love coming in at least once a week to see our favorite server!! Super friendly staff that genuinely takes the time to get to know you.
