TownePlace Suites by Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America

Our family recently stayed for a week which we really enjoyed. Breakfast was great and had plenty of options. Staff was helpful and friendly. Hotel is very clean and throughout the day and night we saw staff constantly cleaning. Close to Mall of America which we also enjoyed. We will stay again.

Love this hotel. First time staying here and can confidently say we’ll be staying here WAY MORE.

Jonah and Angelo are who helped us check in. They were professional, kind and very pleasant. Our check in was super smooth and they were both very accommodating to making us feel welcome. Darryl was also very helpful before we were checking out
On our last night and was very kind when he helped us check out.

Location is rated 3 stars because between 6am and 10pm, planes are susceptible to flying low overhead, causing a large noise to randomly happen whenever they pass overhead. You’d think they could have made the roof more soundproof somehow. Thankfully they stop at 10pm on the dot. Otherwise great location being adjacent to Mall of America and two restaurants in walking distance. Hotel seems new and rooms are very comfortable. Did not like that TV’s were mounted to wall and made room feel smaller. Overall undecided whether I’d choose to stay here again. Breakfast area was small which easily made it crowded at times.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights around Christmas 2023 and overall enjoyed it. If we have anything negative to say it's not about the hotel but other guests who didn't care about others (for example, one boy who had room on the first floor, who was taking all hot food during breakfast and taking it to his room only to be back in 5 minutes to do the same. It took our family 3 rounds of employee adding more bacon to get some because of that boy. Or some father with couple very young kids who was occupying every flat service in the breakfast area with his plates, cups of coffee and juice, all over to the point he couldn't carry it and people around him had to wait a long time to even get close to food - again, nothing to do with the hotel!)
As for the hotels, it's very basic clean hotel. Two ladies who checked us in on December 24th were very nice and polite. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Everything worked as supposed to. Mini kitchen also had everything we needed. Good size fridge too!
The location of the hotel was very convenient - close to airport (less than 10 minutes) and across the street from Mall of America and few minutes to Ikea. We would def stay there again if visiting town!

Great hospitality and excellent location. Just around the corner from Minneapolis-St Paul airport and also walking distance to Mall of America. The hotel is busy over the weekends and they allow pets as well. Wife and I were there to experience shopping at the Mall of America and I can’t believe I’m saying this but I actually enjoyed. Expect busy crowds and a bit of long waits on the roller coaster rides. I also tried Masu sushi and Robata which ended up being a gem. Now the only thing left is for you to experience for yourself!

It was a great location and great experience. The front staff was awesome from the time we arrived until the time we left. The room and service was amazing as well. Location is a quick walk to Mall of America which is what we mainly did and the price was good as well. Couldn't ask for more.

We like the hotel very much. The rooms are small, but that makes them somehow cozy. The room and the hotel are well maintained and clean, the reception team is super friendly. My husband has already been here for several weeks on business, he liked it then.

Location is literally directly across the street from the Mall of America. They upgraded my room from a one bedroom suite to a two bedroom for free. Staff was great and welcoming, continental breakfast is pretty awesome for a hotel. Full kitchen too. We made a pizza right in the room.

The hotel was great! Even next to MSP International Airport the rooms are well insulated & you could barely hear the planes. On top of that the room was beautiful and super clean Breakfast was a bit crowded but the food selection was amazing. Overall, it was a great experience.

Clean, orderly, and very accommodating. Our flight was canceled and we made a booking at 3:45 am for the last available room in the building. Even though this is a very nice long term stay facility, they only charged us one day even though we needed to stay past the typical check out time because just to get like 6 hours of sleep at that point would have been almost noon by the time we got settled. The room was clean and comfortable.

Always love staying at this hotel when flying into/out of the MSP airport. Rooms are well-appointed and always clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are always able to accommodate my room preferences and make traveling through Minneapolis very enjoyable. I always look forward to returning to their hotel.

Nice rooms! Very comfortable and clean! The hotel is walking distance to the mall. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect! Front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. Breakfast each morning was good(it can get a little crowded). Great location - near airport and MOA. Slept wonderfully. Shower was better than most. Little convenient store up front.
Definitely would stay here again.

Hotel is basically next to the Mall of America, rooms are very clean, staffing is very friendly. Prices were reasonable. I would stay there again and recommend it to others. The only downside to the area is that you can hear the planes from the airport.

We had a great 3-night stay at the TownePlace Suites. The rooms were nice and clean, and even included a full-size refrigerator. The staff was very friendly, especially AJ at the front desk. We will recommend the hotel to our friends and family and would definitely go back.

this hotel was clean, quiet, and had such spacious accommodations- but the true star of the show was the front desk woman that helped us. our flight got cancelled so late at night and we booked a room last minute with her help. she was so nice, super helpful, and really saved us.

We had a great stay! The hotel is very clean and has the friendliest staff. Everyone one at the front desk always greeted us and made small conversation, even the staff members we ran into in the hallways and elevators were friendly. Anytime there was something wrong it was quickly fixed. Breakfast was also very good! Martha H. was a great breakfast host and was such a joy! We are looking forward to our next stay.

Our room was super clean and fully equipped kitchenette! There was a very nice continental breakfast spread in the morning (with fresh fruits). We were able to walk from here to Mall of America pretty easily.

There's a really nice gym here which I took full advantage of and basically got to use all to myself since there was nobody in there 2 of the 3 times I went to use! 😀
