Had the Philly steak sandwich, it was so good, the bun was fresh and with the seasoned steak it made the meal a 10!
Also had the wings, excellent cook on them, great sauces.

This was worth my 20 mile drive. When I was at home, I told myself this better be worth my drive. To my suprise the food was great and hot. The fries are real potatoes and crispy. The Maxwell Street Polish sausage I got was great. I will be doing this drive more often for food this good.

Good food, nearly comparable to Portillo's but more affordable for the family. This particular neighbor hood is a little sketchy though. The place is busy, so plan accordingly. Do NOT order through door dash unless you have a plentiful supply of Vaseline on hand because you'll get a stiff upcharge on the base price of the food, in addition to the middle man fees, carpet tax, tea tax, etc. The hot dogs are all great. The Italian Beef is superb!

Wish there was one closer to the southern suburbs. Love their catfish. The wings are pretty good too.

Great food. Quickly cooked/prepared for our take out orders. The only issue i had was with the order taker/cashier. She didn't have a clue about what was on the menu or answering our questions about items on the menu with what it is or how it's prepaired, what comes with the items as a side item, ect...had to ask the cook for answers (I feel should already have been learned by the employee after the hiring practices/qualifications for the job, ect..). Very friendly and tried her best, but for a newer business, not knowing what's on the menus or anything about the items, got frustrating for us alittle. We were first timers to the place ourselves and didn't know anything about the food/menu items ourselves, but for the front order taker to be in the same situation as us, just made the process take longer. She just lacked the/ training and I'm sure over time, she'll be a top employee there. Otherwise, 4.75 stars of 5 in my opinion.

Wings, gizzard, hot dogs, catfish!!!! This place has all of the best and they cook to order so it's always fresh food

I've been coming here for years after moving closer to this one. I have never had a bad meal here. The food is always fresh and tasty.

They do have an amazing and delighted food. I tried Rib eye steak sandwich. I do recommend others to visit Pappys and check them out

Don't know if there's anything you could call atmosphere here, but I don't think that's what they're going for.
I live Pappy's because it's the only place I know you can get chicken gizzards.
I love the breading on the catfish too it's got a little hint of lemon seasoning, and it's delicious.
The fries have the same seasoning I think. The only problem with the fries is that they're a little big and therefore not crispy.
If you get the gizzard and catfish combo and then go to the other end of the building for Checkers fries, I don't think you could get a better fast food combo.

Been going here since it opened and never a bad choice. They don’t miss! Recommend the buffalo chicken philly sandwich, gyro/gyro fries, and wings. Oh and fries with the lemon pepper too 🔥

Place was easy to find and the food was great! I ordered a 12in sandwich and Holy cow! I gave the one half to a co worker because there was no way I could eat that much food!

Food was good, service was fast and the food was fresh.

Prompt service. Food was a little greasy for my liking. But overall great experience and fairly priced.

The dipped Italian was hot and delish and fries were fresh, hot, and crispy. I'll def be back!

All the reviews caught my attention do I decided to check it out. The reviews hold up. The food was fresh and it tasted great. I couldn't decide between a Polish Dog or a Gyro so I got both with a side of onion rings to boot figuring I'd finish whatever I couldn't eat as leftovers. I didn't have any leftovers.

The only bit of advice I have for anyone wanting to go is be prepared to wait 15-20 mins for your order. They're always busy (with good cause) and the folks who run it take their time to ensure that you get a quality meal. It's worth the wait. I promise.

Came here for the first time as I was super hungry, didn’t know what to get since they have a huge menu. Cashier was awesome as he gave me some of the best choices and I chose the Philly Cheesesteak with fries! I have to say, this place is not only good but they make everything after you order so it’s fresh. The serving sizes are very generous, the staff is awesome and the food is like no other. When I review a place, I go back another day just to see if it’s the same experience or if I was just hungry at the time. I went back 3 days later, had the chicken Philly and what can I say, both times I’ve been here, it’s a unforgettable experience. I highly recommend Pappys to anyone in the mood for mouth watering food and fresh selections! I’ll be back soon, Keep up the great work! 👌💯🔥

This was a total accident find but we were so glad. What amazing food. I had the gyro and fries and my husband had the catfish nuggets. The owner was very kind and the cooks are quick. Overall a great experience.

I would give this more than 5 stars if I could. We stopped and got a philly cheese steak and it was amazing. Everything was made fresh in front of us. There was only one man working and he apologized for the wait to take our order and it was not even 5 minutes. Well worth the wait for the amazing food and service he provided. Price is also great.
