Music Go Round Roseville

Love the classical guitar I got a few years ago from Music Go Round. Excellent customer service especially at this location. They were able to file down my frets and have a great collection of guitar strings.
Highly recommend this location.

Purchased a Tagima t635 off their website. Guitar was shipped same day and arrived at my place in 2 business days. Item was very well packaged to insure the guitar wasn't damaged in any way. Condition was exactly as described, and it plays excellent. Very impressed with these cheaper S body Tagimas for what they cost! This location had the best deal I could find on said guitar for the condition it was in. Wouldn't hesitate to do business again.

Beats the heck out of GC. I was free to choose any case I wanted to try with a store guitar and it worked out so perfectly. I was guided to some pedals & supported with the things I would need to get started at this addictive hobby. Grandpa’s guitar fit perfectly and I got exactly what worked for me. The staff was helpful, kind, relatable and accommodating. I burned through a small stash of cash, but I made some good purchases today. Thank you very much to the folks working today, father’s day 2023.

These guys are wonderful. Knowledgeable and friendly. They sell quality new and used. They also don't try to sell you things you don't need and base thier suggestions on what you are looking for, not based on them just wanting the sale!

Excellent music store with great inventory and knowledgeable, helpful staff. If I’m in the market for some new gear, MGR Roseville is always my first stop. There’s rare pieces of music history to fawn over, as well as new everyday items like pedals, cables, and strings.

Great place to sell used collector guitars! I brought my in Grandfather's (passed away) 1934 National Duolian Resonator Guitar. I spoke with Ben on the phone and met with him at the store. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. The guitar was was well used many years so plenty of normal wear but no damage and neck in good condition. Ben was familiar with this rare guitar brand and did some additional research on the spot. I had a realistic price in mind based on my research and Ben instantly agreed on the price which I felt was a great price and fair to both of us. Hoping it will find a good home. If you are looking for this rare guitar or any other musical instruments this is the place to go!

Trade in they are definitely competitive with everyone else in the twin cities.

Was able to quickly find what I was looking for and staff was available and willing to help with questions. Carries some new in box items in addition to consignments, so you should always be able find what you're looking for. Stocked to the brim like my photos should show.

Great selection, super nice staff. Been going in there for years. Definitely one of the nicest music stores in the TC with a ton of great deals. Brought my amp in for repairs, and the manager Ben brought it to the repair guy that same day and I got it back a week later.

Super kind staff who are very willing to help you try out gear. I’ve bought a few things here over the years, both new and used, and have always had a great experience! If you’re looking for a place with tested used gear, this is a good spot.

Online purchase went perfectly. They shipped fast and what I received was way better than anticipated. I bought a used Digitech Polara reverb pedal. They sent me the original box along with all of the documents and ...the original velcro tape. All in mint condition. Thanks folks.

The staff was really friendly and happy to assist with any questions we had. Ended up getting a short scale bass in great condition, after having tried to buy a new one online that came with damage. Grateful this store existed near me!

This is legit the only music store I go to now. Their selection is always amazing and I see something I never have before every single time I come in. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, they always make the best recommendations and point you in the right direction for what you’re looking for. Wes in particular has worked with me to put together a drum kit, found the best guitar for me in my price range, and lets me know when new gear arrives that I might be interested in checking out too. I really appreciate the level of care and investment they make to everyone that comes in. It’s an awesome experience every time I visit. I can’t recommend this location highly enough!

Can say enough good things about this place. Staff was super friendly and really knowledgeable. I bought my son a used banjo in outstanding condition for a great price. They didn't have a "banjo" case but helped me find a great cased that fit perfectly. They also identified a missing screw from my other son's drum set and replaced it for free. This will be my first stop for music supplies going forward.

Shop there constantly. Always friendly and helpful. Got some great finds including a Glen Campbell vintage Ovation and recently a Fender Excelsior. Not only great high end equipment but an excellent place for a beginner or everything in between. I travel 45 minutes to get there. Well worth it.

I wish I got the manager’s name here, but honestly, this was the best experience I’ve had shopping for and trading gear of my life. I’ve been collecting guitars for a decade, across three states, and this shop is the best I’ve ever been to. They really care about you, and your experience, went above and beyond to help, and I didn’t even buy anything! Just selling old gear! I’m definitely coming back, it’s a ways from me, but it’s definitely my new go to music store.
