Sam's Club

The store was very clean, plenty of stock, and got through quickly at check out. I had forgotten my purse in the cart and realized 20 minutes later. I called and Norma was very sweet and said they had it. Everything was in there. Tyler found it. Impressed with their integrity and saving me a lot of headaches if it had been found by someone dishonest. ♡

I love being able to order and pick up. They bring good quality produce when I've ordered. And I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes from when I enter I'm there for pick up.

Typical Sam's. Clean store that is well stocked. They could use a few more registers and people checking receipts at the door. All the employees I encountered were pleasant.

Sam's Club is our second to go shopping place after the Costco. Pretty similar type of stores. Most of the things we buy can be found at Costco. However some products we can only find at Sam's Club. So we visit this place. It has particular Colombian coffee in cups we love. Marinated mushrooms...

Got new COVID vaccine at Sam's club in shakopee today. Entire process was very efficient. I recommend them for this service.

The new Scan and Go app is great! Eliminates the biggest hassle of waiting in line to check out. Terrific!
Update 1/31/24 incredibly noisy inside with workers assembling shelving, annoying to customers. Maybe do this overnight ?

Always clean and well stock, especially given the low supplies in some other retailers. Good prices! STOK coffee <$4 each bottle!

We gave up going to the cabin to watch ball in new ulm. Johnson field is minor league quality. They sell beer and other concesions. The field is true and well maintained. Lots of covered seating some have backs, some don't. This is a baseball town and really nice field. And no, I am not from new ulm. This is a visitors perspective.

First time going to a Sam's Club after being a loyal Costco member.

Really loved the wide selection and variety of items. The prices were on par with local competitor for most items.

Staff was nice, store was clean and well stocked.

My only gripe is the flow of the store is all over the place and I often found myself going against traffic. Trying to figure out the best route through the store was more challenging, whereas Costco is a one way type of flow which makes navigating much easier then Sam's Club.

All that said, I give Sam's 5 stars. Great variety and good prices makes it an easy choice for bulk goods shopping.

Superb customer service in order ahead and pick up. There's an gentleman in there. They don't know his name but he's probably 65. Such a great addition to Sam's club! They should be very happy he is there.

Shopped here on a Tuesday late afternoon and it wasn’t too busy. Not like Eden Prairie’s Costco always seems to be. I’m not saying Costco is bad. They’re great, just busy if that matters to you.
Anyway, the club was great today. I didn’t have to weave through people or in-isle stuff. Everything seemed orderly. I found everything I needed…and way more. The awesome thing this time around was the scan and go feature! Getting gas would have been icing on the cake but THAT was crazy busy. Maybe try again early before work tomorrow.

Great place to buy things in bulk especially snacks.

Update: 10/07/22...EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED today...we purchased $178.50 with the scan and go system (recommended by associate at entrance)needed assistance because it wouldn't clear...one person actually took the phone out of my hand, swiped to charge and said "there, it worked". I got to the front door and it showed 2 charges exactly the same. Was told by the exit door associate to go to the service desk-service desk said "both charges are still pending, come back Monday when they clear, there's a glitch in the system-I've been dealing with this all day". I may not be your best customer but I buy for a family of 8, I cannot afford to "wait until Monday" to get my money refunded "within 3 to 5 business days". Not a good start to the weekend.

The woman that helped me was great. I got the "July 4th, $8.00 membership deal". Great promotion! You have to specifically ask for the July 4th deal.

Just got a new pair of glass through the Sam's club opitcal. Absolutely amazing customer service. When I went to pick up my new glasses, they knew exactly who I was and what glasses I was picking up before I even said anything. Wonderful and attentive service. I would rate higher than a five if possible.

Love this place. I visit when the protein and condiments in my house are running low. For $45 a year, a bargain, I have access to quality meats, seafood and produce. They also carry quality brand name household items. Can't beat the cost. Staff are always helpful if I need something. You probably spend more on beer in a month than the yearly cost. Get a membership.

Always love shopping at Sam's Club. Great place to shop for a large family.

The only way I can win!

I have been tires at this store for about 7 years, all 3 of our cars. Timely, accurate and better prices than most. Last year when I had decided on a certain tire, the installer noticed they some discontinued tires (the same brand) and saved me over $200 from what I had chosen. To those people that write reviews and claim these people are rude, apparently have an anger issue. I go to this store almost weekly for groceries or clothes or tires, and have yet to see or experience anything close to incompetence or rudeness.
