As part of a complete make-over of our living room we had Steve remove the 30+ year-old carpet and repair and re-finish the pegged oak flooring underneath it. Steve submitted the best bid on the project, but also offered a less expensive option that might be done if the floor under the carpet was it good shape (unfortunately it was not). Once the carpet was removed, we also discovered a few unexpected problems that needed attention. Steve was able to solve and deal with all of them and the extra work was done with a very modest increase in the project cost. The work done by the crew was absolutely outstanding. His crew was on-time, efficient and thoroughly professional. The resulting floor is gorgeous. If you need this sort of work done, I we offer our highest recommendation. In fact, I'd give them 6 stars if I could.

Outstanding company to work with. We received great initial guidance on picking out a floor for our large dog, and wooded lot, the floor fits perfectly with our home. The installation communication was proactive, and personable with Steve, Walter and Crew. Their quality of craftsmanship made the floor appear as original, with how they settled the floor onto our floor plan. We highly recommend Floors by Steve.

Glowing review here! My wood floor in one specific room of my apartment had been soaked/rotted through with cat urine from a previous tenant's pets and it smelled so bad. Patrick and Steve ripped up the floor and replaced the wood, sanded it, re-stained it to match the original, and were meticulous about the details. They care a lot about what they do, were great to chat with (since they were here all day for a few days), and I am SO appreciative to have a room that no longer smells like cat pee! Highly recommend them!

Steve and his crew were incredibly helpful every step of the way re-doing our floors, and we’re thrilled with the results. We refinished half of our main level and installed new for the other half, with some extra patches in the old. We shared our concerns with matching the old to the new, but they made us feel confident they could do it right. They delivered. They were open and honest throughout the process and made sure we understood what they were doing. We’re very happy with the results.

Your two floor people, Patrick and Sergio, who did my floors were excellent at their craft. Not to mention wonderful guys. The explained all they were doing and watching them take up the old carpeting was something else.
Because of COVID I waited longer and was comfortable when the two men came into my house. They worked like gangbusters to get eveything done and I am so proud of my floors and the work these two men did. The transition piece that was made especially for my french doors to my lving room because of such a large gap is work of art!

We had FBS rip out old tile in our kitchen, install new hardwood and refinish our living room floors to match. Our whole experience with Floors by Steve was perfect. Lisa was very knowledgeable and friendly during the bid process, they were very accommodating to our timeline needs and the quality of work was top notch. There was not one thing that I wished they would have done differently. We had Ricky and Louis doing our installation and they we were such hard workers and very detailed. Can not recommend them enough.

Incredible workmanship from the team at Floors by Steve! From the first day on-site to the final top coat, they were professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. Our wood floors had been covered with carpet for decades and revealed lots of pet stains and other discoloration. Patrick and Sergio brought them back to their original beauty in no time. I would highly recommend them!

I live in a condominium and this Fall i had Floors by Steve put wood flooring in my kitchen and dining area. Steve helped me pick out the wood and color. I really like the choices he helped me with. He and his assistant were done with the installation within one day. It was very neat and clean when they left. Steve also added a finishing touch with a couple of the floor boards. My new floor is way better than i imagined. I've had friends and relatives over and they really like the end results. My condo looks so clean and it is nice to walk on. Steve was friendly and easy to work with. I truly enjoyed my experience with Steve and his crew at the store. I have a neighbor who also had Steve put in flooring and he too is more than happy with the end results.

We have had Steve and his family install floors in three separate condos for our family. Each time the work was done flawlessly - and they all look amazing. His install crew are fast, friendly and very professional. I accidentally overpaid an invoice, and they returned hundred of dollars to me before I noticed. Highly recommended.

We had an outstanding experience with Floors by Steve, from beginning to end. Our job involved a combination of 3 rooms with 1940's floors being refinished (including carpet removal), some minor repairs (board replacement) and new flooring added to the adjoining hallway. The results are beautiful. The work was fast and impeccably done. Needed one small fix before final payment, and this was handled speedily. Great communication by all members of the team. I would recommend them without question. You will not be disappointed.

I hired Floors by Steve to refinish our hardwood floors which are on the entire main level. I was able to stay elsewhere during the days they completed the work, and was pleasantly surprised when I returned home at not only beautiful the floors looked, but also how clean the workmen left my home. All of the poly was removed and everything was dusted. There was still some dust residue in the air which cleared after another day and is to be expected. Steves’ also was the lowest estimate I received.
I highly recommend them for this type of job.

I just had the floor done in most of my condo, and went from 36 year old carpet to new maple wood flooring in only one week. I'm thrilled with the difference it makes in my home! So much brighter and clean looking. The showroom staff couldn't have been any more helpful. The two guys doing the work were efficient, on-time, polite, knowledgeable,...and funny. They worked hard and long hours in a hot place, and helped me with things I couldn't move. The only complaining they did was joking around with each other and my Sister and me. It made a stressful time for me a lot easier to get through. Steve helped me choose the flooring at the showroom, and came out several times during installation to check on things and make sure I was pleased. All in all, I couldn't be any happier, and wish that I had done it years ago! I'd recommend this company to everyone. Thanks!!!

I have a 100+ year old home, and needed multiple areas serviced. Patrick did a terrific job. He replaced stair treads, sanded flooring outside of kitchen, and completely refinished the front entry way stairs. Everything looks amazing. He did a great job of matching the color and finish to match my antique home. This is the second time I have hired FBS, and each time they were able to fit my job in right away. I have had great interactions with everyone I have dealt with.

We have used Floors By Steve at two of our homes, and in my dad's home with great results. Twice it was refinishing very old floors, and they turned out amazing. The other project was all new hardwoods and they looked great. We had some water damage from a leaky dishwasher and they came out and repair the floor and you can't even tell it's new wood. Great work, fast service from a family run business.

We had a lovely townhome but wanted to get rid of all the carpet that collects so much dirt and stains. We had Floors By Steve come in and give us great decorating ideas and estimates. They invited us into their wonderful display show room where we were shown samples of wood floors and invited to take a few home to see how the wood worked with our home and lighting. They were so helpful and patient with our process. We chose to go with them because of a fabulous product and and a great price. Their installers were very professional, clean ,and wonderful as they worked in our home. The floors are stunning,warm and so easy to maintain. We love how it opened up the rooms and gave it a fresh new look. People are amazed at the beauty of the floor . We are so proud to bring people into our home.

Floors By Steve did an amazing job on our remodel project. Lisa was very helpful. The crew did a wonderful job and Steve the owner even came out to make sure it was done on time for the rest of our project. I get so many compliments on the floors and I would differently recommend them. The floors are beautiful and it was a great expirence.

We had hardwood floors installed throughout our house - it has an open floor plan so we did four rooms plus a hallway. Everyone we dealt with was great to work with, from the salesperson we dealt with in the showroom, to the estimator, and work crew members. We are SO happy with the results. It's like a completely new house. We replaced carpet, and the entire house seems brighter with the light reflecting off the hardwood floors. I recommend them with no reservations.

My wife and I moved into a house with original hardwood floors under the carpet. Steve arrived promptly to our quote. He answered all of our questions and was able to do everything we wanted - even the small little extra things we hoped he could do. We are extremely happy with the results as the floors and trim look great - even to a perfectionist like myself. We would recommend this company to anyone!
