I absolutely LOVE the Studio and SGT classes. There are a ton of class formats and times to choose from so I don't get bored. The teachers are great and there are people of all ages, shapes, sizes and fitness levels in classes so it's not intimidating. I LOVE GTX classes - it's a great mix of cardio and lifting. My boys also can shoot hoops in the gym, use the pool in the cold winter months and use the outdoor pool in the summer. Our family uses almost every offering in the club. I highly recommend the GTX classes!

I am a SAHM and I take my little guy to the daycare while I get a workout in. They have been so incredibly friendly and accommodating to him, especially bc he is one that likes to be held and has some separation anxiety. Most everyone has been kind and helpful! I appreciate their help so he can socialize and I get to do one of the barre, yoga, or GTX classes! They offer 45 minute classes, which is perfect so I can get back to the little man. Specifically Riley, Chandra, Sasha, Jeremy, Sosa, (spelling on some of these names hopefully is correct, but they are truly the best.)

Chris Rooney Home Experts is happy to have Life Time Fitness as part of the local community. Many of our former clients have made this their go-to gym, and anyone new to the area would find great value in this fitness club. The price may be higher than others, but it offers an extensive range of amenities, including a basketball court, pool, steam room and top-notch equipment. The club is on the smaller side, yet still manages to avoid ever getting too overcrowded. Chris Rooney Home Experts regards Life Time Fitness as one of the local fitness centers of choice for the area.

I’ve always been able to find open machines and treadmills and there is a ton of room by free weights. This place gets really busy but it easily handles the amount of people that show up during busy times.
We love working out, attending yoga, and going to the outdoor pool in the summer.
Katie W. is a great trainer and Kaye is the absolute best yoga teacher!

Lifetime gyms have the best kept facilities. Cleaner restrooms. Private showers. Nice stacks of towels. Way more likely to find an open machine, weights, or equipment than any other gym. Not to mention some of the latest equipment. Nice, motivating environment too. It is not a jock stereotypical place. All sorts of people go. With that said.
This Lifetime has large slides into an indoor family pool area. Sauna and Whirlpool are in the pool area as large coed locations where you can watch your kids have fun.
Down side is small lap lanes of about 15 meters.

Always a blast! Love the new studios for yoga and barre!

Lifetime in Savage is home away from home. I moved here from Northern Nevada and I appreciate how friendly most of the staff is. It is probably the cleanest gym I have worked out at. They really work at keeping the maintenance up on the machines. Special shout-out to the following: Betty, Jimmy, Austin x2, Angi, Nancy, Jack, Alex, Spencer, Rachel x2, Adam and sorry if I missed someone that I know. Thank you for always making my day.

I started going to crossfit over a year ago, and quickly became addicted to the variety of work outs and the people. The instructors are great and very knowledgeable.

I do actually work out here too. What's great about lifetime is that it's multifunctional. I can get a sweat in, grab some protein and then chill by the pool. Their childcare is also excellent and my son has never had anything but good things to say about it. I've never tried the salon and i can't say i will as i have my own stylist I've been seeing for years. It's nice to know the option is there though.

This gym is huge! It’s clean. Never any issues getting to the cardio equipment I need. Some of the weight machines seem to be used by a class all morning so that part is frustrating to work around. I tried coming earlier and have tried coming later and still there’s a class on some of the machines I need to use- so maybe they are running back to back? If I could figure out the new hours of those classes it would be a lot easier to plan what time I go. Other than the classes I usually don’t have issues using other fitness equipment I need.

Lifetime never disappoints. It is pricey but I am not able to find a better gym... With all the amenities they include it's a no-brainer and even though it's expensive I would never complain. They make you feel happy and all the things you can do around there! It's perfect! Saunas, whirlpool, steam room and other amenities are just a tip of the iceberg why I keep on coming back as an addict! Haha

Good classes and staff / instructors. Nice outdoor pool area and indoor pool with large hot tub. Sauna and steam room are great. Weights area could be bigger for the afternoon / evening crowd though.

Okay okay you keep popping up in my reviews. I will be back I promise very soon. Maybe after Thanksgiving or maybe after Christmas but probably before the new year. Or maybe sometime in February. I don't know but I will be back 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I love my gym. The staff is fabulous

I love this place. Sauna, pool, personal trainers, hair salon, massages, and café. Yes please. This gym has everything you need. Alyssa Forbes is one of the massage therapists here, and she is awesome, she really listens, she knows how to adjust to what you need, and she is very knowledgeable in her expertise. Cannot praise this gym enough. Love it.

Went here as a guest on a Saturday with a friend. Place is so nice -- they have deadlift platforms with pads that soften your lifts. I would have definitely signed up here if I didn't live far away in Shakopee. 15 min drive every day for 5 days a week would suck.

The front desk is always professional. I loved when Mark worked the front as he remembered everyone’s name. Super cool dude. Current employees are helpful too. Kelsey Martin was Instrumental in my nutrition/health reset goals and the tools she provided me to succeed on my own will last a lifetime. The gym is clean with exceptions of guests leaving stuff behind, but that’s on guests not LTF. The pool outdoors is clean and fun for littles. With covid rules they are fair to all, maintain mask boundaries, but allow guests to pull them down during exercise. Which is huge when you’re dying for air during an intense workout. The childcare center is 95% solid. Majority of time I drop the kids off and they seem happy, and caregivers play with them. One time a woman rocked my little one the entire time I worked out because she was crying. Another time, walked her around in a baby stroller the whole time. Super sweet. There are some times when I’ve dropped them off and felt like they were a nuisance to the young caregivers. Won’t judge for that as it’s select few and not majority. Equipment is nice. Cleanliness is high, especially now. They communicate well with signage, emails, etc. Their website is updated often with pertinent info so you can’t plead “I didn’t know the rules”.
Edge Cycling is fun; Katie and Bryan are energetic. Cafe with covid seems to have less to-go options, maybe by monetary design. Sometimes they’ve been slow with orders(shakes) but others, freaky fast. Again, more of a one-off employee than systemic issue. Trainers seem to push clients hard. I’ve taken some classes and they were fun. What I like are that the trainers don’t “sales“ you up. They are very friendly but respect boundaries so that you can come to them and they’re not pushing sessions on you. Overall, great club. Only hope the mask situation goes away soon. (That’s on the state of MN though!).

Had to switch to the South Bloomington location because Savage was too far away, but this is a really nice gym! Staff are always friendly (Many remember me by name!), they're always willing to help with any issues you may have, and are generally knowledgeable and polite. 10/10 recommend this gym!

For many years this has been my most favorite Lifetime Fitness Club.
The Energy here is great and young, compared to some other Clubs.
The weights and equipment's are good and there is a variety.
Steam Room is a Big Plus in this facility, Parking Space is big enough too and I never had any issues finding a spot even on the busiest days,
I highly recommend this club.

This is a great fitness center with plenty of equipment, a gym, indoor & outdoor pools and friendly staff.
There is towel service and the locker rooms are kept clean.
It is best to avoid going between the hours of 4 and 7 PM on weekdays when it gets very crowded.

Life Time in Savage is a wonderful facility. Lots of equipment and space. Trainers and staff are friendly and very helpful. Also a nice variety of classes if you're looking for that.
