Mallards Restaurant

The best breakfast we almost didn't have.
We walked up to the door and from outside the window it looked like it was a "order at the counter/fast food place. So we started walking back to the car. THANKFULLY a gentleman came out the second door and said "we're open". We didn't have the heart to say why we were turning around so we went in. Inside, was a while different atmosphere than expected. The counter we saw was for apparel and catering promotion. The seating area was a neat "pier" type feel and the staff was very friendly. The food... I had bacon and eggs. Hard to rate really, but the cheesy hashbrowns....mmmm,mmm.
My wife had the French toast. Needless to say, so did I cuz they were amazing and she couldn't keep my fork off her plate too.
Definitely a 5 out of 5 stars. I wish we lived closer to go more often.

Mallards is a hidden gem! I had the Mediterranean salad and added chicken, and it was so delicious. The server we had was excellent. He was very intuitive to our large group. It's always hard to serve a large group of talkative women, but he did a wonderful job.
There are so many great food options to choose from. It was hard to pick one, so we will definitely be back.

We had amazing Apps, Entrees and Desserts. Drinks and food quality were top notch. Service was attentive and responsive. We had a mix of old favorites and new offerings, all were great.

I was in need of something different, a new taste to my palette. I found Mallards and oh boy i just finished my meal. my food high is a 10 in heaven!!! the price is accurate for the freshness and quality. I would absolutely recommend you at least try it once.

I booked a reservation on a Tuesday for my wedding anniversary dinner. I found out that their crab special was on Wednesdays and Thursdays, so I was bummed that I booked on the wrong day. I called the team at Mallards and asked them if I could do crab anyway. They asked the chef and he said Yes!
I was so happy! Awesome food and wonderful service. Keep up the great work!

Our first time at Mallards and it was a terrific little dinner! I had the lobster roll sandwich with lobster bisque as an appetizer, my wife had the crab stuffed salmon dish, both delicious! Our server Svetlana was terrific and was busy at tables and at the bar! It was apparent she didn't miss anything the quests needed and we enjoyed her service! It was just what we needed and then some! We'll be back for sure.

Nice place very clean. Mens restroom could have used a touch up but not nasty or anything. Staff was friendly and service was good Lisa was my sever according to my receipt. She did a good job. I sat at the bar because I was by myself and there was football on the TV. Greeted right away and served a Fulton lonely blonde.

I ordered the fried walleye sandwich with French fries and a house salad with blue cheese dressing. House salad came out fast and first which is how I ordered it. Blue cheese dressing was excellent. Made in house according to my server. Dressing was on the side when it was delivered. Fries were awesome and perfectly cooked for my taste. Walleye sandwich (which came highly recommended by my waitress) was excellent. Tarter sauce was good.

Looking forward to coming back it’s going to be hard not to get the same food again!!

All I can say is WOW! $12 for bottomless mimosas?! SIGN ME UP. I was fully expecting them to be mostly OJ, less champagne but the opposite was true. I would go back for the mimosas alone! There was no wait for a table either when we went on a Sunday around 11:20am which is a plus.

The food was DELICIOUS. Although my biscuits and gravy were great, I felt like it was lacking some sort of extra side. My husband ordered the Shipwreck and loved it. I would order that one next time for sure!

I was pleasantly surprised that the kids were served REAL, homemade Mac n cheese and not boxed Kraft like so many other restaurants do for kids.

My other kiddo loved the fries with chicken tenders as well! The fries were crispy, hot and fresh.

And also, just $1 for the kiddos to get ice cream sundaes with vanilla bean ice cream! I had to steal a taste of course.

All in all, worth every single star Google can offer! Can’t wait to go back!

Stopped in here a week or so ago and my friend ordered the salmon house special... I dont eat fish but I tried it and this place completely changed my mind on fish. So we went back for my bday and I just have to say that this place is the best. Every dish I have tried has been above and beyond and the staff is friendly and helpful!

Still wonderful. Taste and delicious!

My second visit to this location, my third visit to a Mallards, and I was impressed all three times. My review will focus on the IGH location, but my food experience came from the two locations (all the food I tried was not in a single visit is my point. I love food, but still, lol).

The staff is very good. The place is clean. Cool bathrooms (very neat decor). The food is very high end without the prices. Somehow they are serving fine dining appetizers at a family restaurant cost.

For apps I tried the cheese plate, the daily bread, the smoked salmon plate, and the elote corn fritters. All were very good. If you are new to Mallards and have at least two in your party, start with the daily bread AND the cheese plate. There is some overlap, but they compliment each other. I've easily payed three times as much for less tasty food at some high end resteraunts. My main course was the Jambalaya. I have no complaints.

They do have free wi fi and a full bar. They are absolutely kid friendly and a great place to take family and friends.

I will add more pictures as I try more menu items. My first visit was a date, so no pics. My second visit I was so hungry I was half finished before I realized I forgot to take pics. They have so much I still want to try. See you there!

It is a fun new place to eat seafood for us! Our wait person was very knowledgeable and she even made me a spicy margarita that wasn’t on their cocktail list. We enjoyed the delicious crab cakes, lobster roll entree and New Orleans salmon. I liked being seated in the little semi-private booth because it is easier to talk with my husband. I look forward to eating here again.

Wow wow wow. Started with the chili (loaded) and it was fantastic. My girlfriend ordered New Orleans Salmon and it was to die for. So perfectly seasoned. I ordered the blackened walleye tacos with a side of Mac n cheese. The mac was so smooth and delicious and the tacos were so well constructed and nice and light! Honestly, a perfect meal. Would highly recommend!

A very cute, somewhat upscale feeling American restaurant without the upscale prices. The menu has great variety, the atmosphere is great (and clean!), and the staff were awesome. On top of their usual gluten-free options, the waitress told us that they could make almost anything on the menu gluten-free by substituting one or two ingredients. She was able to provide suggestions without needing to be prompted and helped my friend with Celiac have just as good a meal as the rest of us.

Man get the boil! It will feed 4 people easy and it's fantastic!

The only thing for me that was a negative, is that the crab cakes were extremely over priced. Three little cakes for 18 bucks? I'll pass on that but the service was great and food was really good!

We enjoyed this cozy restaurant with a Louisiana flare! We shared the shrimp boil. It was a bit spicy for our Minnesota toungs, but our server gave us a discount, which was completely unnecessary but very much appreciated. Great customer service and staff!

The Brunch at Mallards is the best I have had in a while. This breakfast made me feel.as though I took a trip down to Louisiana! The crab cakes were amazing! The shrimp and grits are so full of flavor. It was so good, we visited 2 Sundays in a row! The French toast was O....M....G .....amazing! 2xs and each time the food was delicious and consistently good as it was the 1st time.

Service was excellent. The chef had the flexibility to alter menu items to taste. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. With 5 locations, I'm sure I'll eat there again.

We stopped here for lunch and were so pleased with the atmosphere. Very open and roomy yet has cozy booths off to the side. They use quality ingredients and so much is local products. The bloody mary is a must try, using Kickled mix is the perfect flavor. McKenzie was wonderful and added to our experience greatly, thanks for the suggestions, we loved everything. We will definitely be coming back.

Delish food, service was awesome and atmosphere was great...went for lunch. Will have to try dinner AND Brunch on Sunday's! Lisa was our server both times we have been- she's the BEST!

This place was the best! I had the Lobster Roll sandwich. Comes with REAL Lobster on a small hoagie bun. Our waitress was Joann. She did a great job.
