I have very mixed feelings about this place. I applied for my NP license over a year ago. I called about 1-8 times a month. The staff over the phone are all very kind and professional but have no control with the board of nursing. They take your comments down and forward it to board of nursing. I finally decided to come in after starting my application in 11/2022.
Mrs Darby handled my case this morning. She was very professional and respectful She told me my license number will be posted before the EOD. As I was walking to the train station about 15 min later, my license number was posted! The staff at the board of nursing seemed very helpful to all the applicants. I highly recommend going in person if your application is pending for a while and everything is completed. I think the issue is that they review everything by paper instead of online, hence why the system is super slow. Whatever system they use needs to be updated but I don't think that's the staffs' fault.
The building opens at 9am but they don't let anyone go up to board of nursing until 10. So best time to walk in is 9:45 am as a lot of people come in and line up.

Ruth was extremely helpful when calling regarding an update on my NP license, despite the long wait time.

I read all the reviews and my company JY Industries Co had the most wonderful representative Mrs Jerman was amazing helpful understanding and always provided follow up and wonderful customer service. I appreciated the fact although I was new to starting a business she made me feel like she was diligent in finding and answering all the concerns I had that applied to that division. Thank you for making me feel like you did not have a million customers.

Despite the long wait time I had the pleasure of speaking with Crystal today. She was polite and articulate..she gave me the info I needed within minutes and even offered to hold while she sent along my contractor certificate via fax. Great work Crystal!

I am a NJ licensed cosmetologist who is currently residing in NC and was told by a NC state board employee that I could not have both licenses active, so I inactivated my NJ license and activated a NC license. I have changed my name and decided to update all my information and after doing research and emailing NJ state board on this issue, it turned out that the information NC state board gave me was false and got a NJ state board representative to return my email with all do's and don'ts, forms, address and even the amount it will be to reinstate my NJ license that I worked very hard to achieve. These are unprecedented times we are living in and I'm ever so grateful for Mrs. M. Domenech from NJ state board for her quick response, professionalism and guidance on this matter. Not all reviews are good experiences, but when you have a professional doing their job right, then acknowledgment should be given. Thank you Mrs. M. Domenech for everything and keep up the great work.

I havent recieved my license yet but its only been 10 days . But everybody i had to deal with in that building so far has been awesome. Security guards were extremely pleasant.

Karen at front desk was so helpful. Took the time to call my insurance company and got my documents right and walked me through the rest of my paper work to make sure it don’t get rejected. Thumbs up

So i was really nervous to call them based off the reviews... I was on hold for only 10 minutes before being transferred to correct department. and within 10 minutes all of my questions were answered. I was pleasantly surprised.
