This restaurant looks unassuming from the outside in the corner of a strip mall close to Livingston Circle. Once you get inside, prepare to be wowed by the very reasonably priced sushi and cooked dishes. Their sushi and sashimi in particular is excellent. Lunch menus offer excellent value and generous portions. Service is efficient and friendly. Once you go a few times the staff will remember you. Very highly recommended!

Completely disagree with the other reviews! service is fast, friendly and there is some and extremely fresh and creative sushi — I would definitely say it’s the best sushi in Livingston!

It is good to see a quality restaurant continue to thrive despite COVID.
Although often swamped, the staff are still as courteous as can be and the curbside pickup is definitely appreciated.

We tend to go for the "fat boy" and "mango tango". Mango Tango is a bit creative for sushi, considering its wrapped in fresh mango, but it extremely refreshing. Call in orders are also prepared quickly.

This place is delicious! Had it for the first time today! Ordered Sushi for 2 , the lady on the phone asked what I liked and she made the best boat. 7 rolls , Soup & Salad for $50. Definitely Will Order again soon

I’ve been coming here for as long as I can remember and every time the food was delicious. The shrimp tempura and California roll are Soo soo good. Just hope they can open soon

Best Sushi in the town. I appreciate how the restaurant is always very clean and tidy. My favorite roll is the "Three Stooges" and my second favorite is "Fat Boy roll." Kind staff and management. Would recommend to a friend.

Best Sushi around! Restaurant is clean,service is excellent and value is excellent. I have dined here many times and I am always very pleased. "Linsane" and "Fat Boy" roll are top notch!

The best Sushi and Sashimi for the price. Generous pieces, nice and fresh. The service is excellent. We love Julie! We ask her to surprise us and she prepares a nice tray for us.

I like this place a lot. Quality-wise it is definitely one of the sushi places in the area. It's not an all you can eat sushi place, it's a la carte. But the workers are very friendly and helpful. I recommend going here if you have the chance.

We order here for lunch every Friday at my office and they have excellent, fresh sushi. Their gyoza and shumai are always delicious as well! Staff is always friendly and everything on the menu is reasonably priced.

My family and I have been going out for dinner at Zen for more than 4 years. Every time we go there, we order the Creamy Crab roll and Mango Tango roll. The prices are very fair, especially for the quantity that you get. You can even save $10 off $50, or 10% off by visiting their website for a coupon!

Must be permanently closed. No one will ever match them. Thank you for all the fantastic food over the years. You will be missed.

I have tried quite a few sushi places in New York, New Jersey, San Francisco, and Seattle, and Zen is the best.

The fish is super fresh and everything is consistently delicious. I love their Godzilla roll.
