I Dont Know What All the Fuss Is About in the Reviews... I Believe They Give a Proper Portion of Meat w the Rice... And Ya,, the Taste is a Bit Mild... But That Cup of Teriyaki Sauce They Provide is There for a Reason... Thats What Completes the Meal... The Lady at the Counter Treated Me Well... The Chicken and Shrimp Combo Ran Me $12 Bucks...

It is always GOOD and they have good Food and Service.

IDK Why other ppl cant be like VERNON, I didn't even get my food yet and I am so please with his customer service skills. When callers can relate to another caller off of curtesy and good vibes Everybody ends up happy. Now idk even know this man and i know my food bout to hit!!! Thank Boo for liking your job and even if you don't, i would never know. YOU decided to be nice & I want to make sure ppl know.

I eat here at least 2 times a week. The sushi isn't phenomenal but still delivers great taste and satisfaction. The service is always fast and friendly, and most important, the food is reliably good everytime. It's also always clean, worst I've encountered being a straw wrapper near a trash bin a customer missed.

I absolutely love this place! They get 5 stars from me. I'm such a sushi fan.. It was prepared in a clean facility, the staff is nice, and the taste is awesome.. I will be a regular customer from now on..

Parking available, seems like a clean establishment and the cashier is usually always friendly. Don't come here expecting high quality chicken teriyaki or sushi, but if you compare it to other Sarku locations, it stands above the rest.

Loved the Vegetable eggroll, the price and meals was also pretty good. The service from the young men and ladies is excellent. Please tip them when you can💙👊

Sarku Japan is located in the Springfield Avenue shopping center in Newark when you come in the store you notice the good vibe the service is great I am very happy with this location the food is pretty good and I think you get what you pay for unfortunately they still have not opened there indoor dining area but still a cool place

I'm not a big fan of sushi. But when it comes to Sarku the teriyaki chicken with vegatable over white rice is 100% so tastey! You get a nice amount and it's not to expensive.
