We were able to find parking with no issues.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Service was perfect. Our server gave great recommendations for us and they were spot on.

Our food came packed with flavor, so much so that I stuffed my face and didn't leave any to bring back.

The drinks were good 👍 I ordered the Margherita (mango) with grand marnia and tequila.

I would return for good authentic food with good company.

Loved this place! Very chilled spot! The food was great! The drinks are a must have! I would recommend this place to anyone. Family friendly too. Can get loud during karaoke BUT in my opinion, that was the best part! Everyone is vibing and enjoying songs together! There is a vibe here that I have not felt anywhere else! 100/100 recommend!

My steak tacos and Steak Quesadillas were exceptional with a variety of Margaritas category.
We spent a great time on the Cinco de Mayo holiday. It was giving an awesome Mexican vibe with live music.

I had a great experience! The atmosphere, food and service was a 10/10. The decorations are so beautiful and I think this a great place for a girl's night out or just a general outing with friends. I had the Chimichanga which came with rice and black beans. It was deeelllicious😋

Colorful decor and authentic Mexican food along with jumbo sized margaritas make El Chingon a fun dining experience! Service was very good and the food was delicious...plan to take some home as portions were a good amount!
Manager checked in to make sure all was good too! Go early as this happening place has lines out the door!

Decided to give this place a try because I was in the area and WOW! I'm SO glad I did. The food was outstanding. The service was amazing. I was worried about the pork chop being to spicy for me since I have a low spice tolerance but ordered it anyway. The amazing waiter brought out a small bit of the sauce they use for the pork chop just to make sure I could handle it. Five stars...highly recommend!!

Stop in for Taco Tuesday and they had karaoke going on. A lot of funny, great music and singing and the food is delicious . Very efficient and courteous staff. Drink specials during happy hour. For a midweek night out a great spot overall.

What an amazing experience! We went for my sister's birthday. The food was tasty, delicious, good portions and presented well. The service was superb 👏 Jonathan was our waiter. He needs a raise! He was professional, attentive, friendly and he knew everything about the menu by heart. His smile was contagious 😍 ☺

I felt like we were his only table because he so attentive and fast.

My cousin had questions about one of the menu items. The manager went out his way to make sure my cousin was satisfied.

Now the drinks... omg... get ready and be prepared to be nice!

Went to El Chingon yesterday with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary dinner and it did not disappoint! We’ve been here many times, but last night the bartender (a young lady) was on Fire! The frozen margheritas🍹were perfectly mixed. The food was fresh, tasty and delicious! When we informed our waiter that it was our wedding anniversary, Margarita the restaurant’s manager came to our table and surprised us with two tequila shots and a beautifully presented and delicious piece of tres leches cake. El Chingon Restaurant is truly a hidden gem in Union, NJ that everyone should visit…Soon!

They had live singing with karaoke being displayed on the screens so everyone was singing along.

I went by myself and sat at the bar on a Thursday and conveniently it was karaoke! The drinks were delicious and the food was appetizing! I would definitely go back.

What a place! In over a decade that I have been here, El Chingon is the first restaurant that actually deserved a tip! Straight from our heart. They managed to play a Hindi song the moment we arrived just to make us feel extra special and know that they ‘care’.

Went after work during happy hour. Ordered the Perfect Patron Margarita...absolutely perfect! Then had the Supreme Fajitas (Chicken Shrimp and Steak)...delicious and a lot of food...could share for two!

We had a Colombian girl named Jesica. The cocktails were amazing. She was always came when we wanted to order something new. The food was amazing. This is a place I would recommend 100%. If you wanted to go with your family it’s a great place to go for. We will be coming here and we hope we get to see her again.

Food and drinks were very delicious. Our waitress was very attentive and helped me with selecting my drink and food. It’s got a vibe that makes you feel like you were in 🇲🇽. Live music 🎶 and futbol playing on TVs near the bar.

Awesome food and great ambience. Food is priced Right while the drinks can be expensive. Like someone else wrote the margarita s can be as high as $30 so make sure you check the price before you order it. Happy hour specials are also good. Tasty food.
