Walmart Pharmacy

Andrea and Tiffany are both Pharmacists at the Oneida Walmart Store. They both are extremely knowledgeable and always take the time to explain eveything about the medicine the customer needs at the time of service. Also, I would like to say how much Andrea puts my 85 year old parents at ease when getting their COVID shots. She thoroughly explains everything to them and always with a smile! They absolutely love going to her! Thanks so much for making the Walmart Pharmacy a first-rate pharmacy!

I sympathize with people who have had bad experiences, but I have to say every pharmacist I've had interactions with here have been great. Very empathetic, and helpful. Which is a saint like quality for anyone who has to work at wal-mart, let alone the pharmacy.

The counter help can be quite rude that deal with the customers, sorry you have to work , really sad now days. not as bad speaking to most of the pharmacist thankfully ???

They are very slow there is a young woman that is sweet here and one red head thats nice but all the other older people are rude to you and give you nasty looks i also had them give out information that was personal information and unnecessary to my dr for no reason and i should and thinking about the HIPA law and suing them dont use this pharmacy!

I am livid 1-2 days??? Try 4 or 5 and that's if you even ordered it (this is about the 15th time in less than a year). They have my 12 year old daughter off of her meds after she just got out of The hospital because you guys can't keep your stuff in stock. And it's a common med. Worst pharmacy ever.

Pharmacist is unbelievably rude. She acts like she has authority over the doctor. She refused to give me my father's meds because I couldn't answer a question. She called his Dr and said my story didn't match the day of onset symptoms or his diagnosis. I'm confused why I have to explain what day my father's symptoms started to a pharmacist? If the Dr called in a med, obviously they felt he needed it. I was shocked to learn I had to justify to a pharmacist why they were called in. And because I could not answer (I was only asked to pick them up, I did not question my parents about it) they were not given to me. Now an 83 year old man is without his meds tonight.

Andrea the pharmacist needs to go back to school. She delayed my Mom's prescriptions over "missing diagnosis codes on the RX." Little did she know I'm a practicing pharmacist myself and they were definitely NOT needed. She knew she was wrong but dug her heels in anyway. Your ego just lost you 13 scripts a month. You can do better.

Overall a terrible pharmacy. Refuses to fill prescriptions when they were giving the approval from the doctors office, and does not know anything about the patients medical history just assumes, does not update insurance when it is showing up inactive just bills the patient and makes them pay for it. Andrea please go back to school and find another profession to pursue cause you suck as a pharmacist. Apparently I am not the only one who thinks so as well.

Worst ever I don't know how this is even a pharmacy. They have messed up tons of times when customers are irate because they say one thing on the phone you get there and it's some other story of why your prescription was delayed the girls behind the counter get nasty and talk back saying they don't care

Once My primary called and the pharmacist gave him attitude he told us to wait two days and it should be done...nope we had to go in for them to start filling it from 3 days ago saying it sits in queue till the patient actually shows up then you gotta wait 15 mins or so and that's if they even have it in stock. So you have to get out of line and go around waiting which I heard by someone on the inside the reason they do that is so you shop in the store while waiting to get you in the store it's a sales ploy by Walmart.
If you have your option go elsewheres like price chopper Walgreens or tops

In the past year this is what I have experienced:

They look up the patient by birth date which they have wrong in their computer system. They say each time that they will fix it. So every time I go it's a hassle to find the rx. Customer service does not hide the fact that they are irritated with you. 2/3/18 9:30 am.

The automated refill system does not work all the time. When you go to pick up your refill that you called in and it's not ready, it's over an hour wait. 'They are not willing to call you when it is ready.

My doctors office called in a script when I was right there. Walmart said they did not get a phone call and were not willing to give the doctors office a call to fill it while I was there.

Needless to say I'm sure the reasons above is whey the customer service is lacking.

I have to get a certain medication at Walmart. But it won't be this Walmart.
