I had a pleasant experience from the moment I called my order in. My food was hot and ready when I arrived for pick up and the owner was very nice and friendly. There were four meals and we had different menu items and we all enjoyed each of them! The food was excellent and so was the service.

The owner who is the cook is very accommodating. If you want Mexican cuisine . This is the place to enjoy it.

While the dining room is pretty ordinary, nothing else is! The food was flavorful, fresh, and hot. Portions were generous but not obscene. The staff was attentive and friendly. We look forward to another visit soon!

Authentic Mexican food in unpretentious atmosphere and price. Lori the hostess is very personable, and the owner Antonio will make you a dish to your liking if you ask. As soon as you sit, tortilla chips and salsa are kept flowing to your satisfaction. I had the dinner set #8: enchilada and tamales with rice and beans, had to pack half of it home, and we shared a Tre Leches cake for dessert. Did not disappoint...

I can't comment on the atmosphere since we ordered takeout but the food was excellent! I ordered the Burrito California and nachos with beef. The burrito was huge, loaded with tasty fillings and served hot and fresh. The nachos were made with homemade chips and covered with cheese and seasoned beef. We will definitely be ordering from them again.

This is one of my two favorite restaurants in the area. The food is wonderful. There are free chips and salsa which they are happy to refill while you wait for your food, both of which are in-house made and delicious. The waitress is so sweet every time she sees us. I highly recommend!

The food is delicious. I had chicken fajita...yum! Service was friendly and quick. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

Just the greatest. The queso fundido is delicious. Chile rellenos are great as well. I always get the four enchiladas plate with a side of mexican rice and refried beans.

I’ve been going to La Cocinas for 5 plus years now and their food has always been out of this world spectacular. This is the ONLY Mexican place I go to in a 100 mile radius. They’re THAT good.

Tried this out from the reviews and was pleased beyond expectations. The flan was delicious. Quick service, order was ready when I arrived. The steak burrito was overwhelmingly huge. Enough for 3 people. Tasted awesome. Authentic for me. Will go back again . Stephanie was holding down the fort when I arrived around 4:40 in afternoon -- she was great.

If I could give this place a 6 star I would truly a gem. Walked in and first impression was wary but it's been my experience the best places often are like this. Our waitress to our surprise was the owner and suggested amazing options. I would recommend anyone looking for a amazing surprise to here order authentic and enjoy.

Service was quick. Food was hot, fresh and tasty. Lots of options on the menu. Would visit again. The chicken tacos have onions in them, which are not declared on the menu.

Ate there over the weekend. Everything was very tasty, large portion, and came out piping hot. The carnitas were great. Cheap too. Definitely coming back or getting takeout. Small place, but everything came out quick. They don't have any booze.

Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Not very pretty inside, but who cares. This seems to be an old building in an old town. We will be back.
FYI there is no liquor license so don't expect beer etc.

Ordered a pretty big order for take out recently and it was all delicious. They were pretty swamped, so I had to wait some extra time for my order - they gave me the dessert that I ordered for free. I didn't ask for a discount, they just did it, so I doubled up my tip and went on my merry way.

There were at least 3 "oh my god" moments when taking bites of our food - it's SO good. They make something as simple as a basic taco super delicious. The carnitas were also amazingly delicious.

I'm super happy these guys have stayed in business through the pandemic.
