My family of 4 really love this theater! Affordable and clean. I know some other reviews say that it’s nothing special, but wow the artwork all over the walls is amazing! You can tell the seats are older, but they aren’t those hard fabric ones—they are cushiony leather ones. The whole place feels so homey and comfy.

Anyone complaining about prices here should not be leaving their house. I couldn't believe when they told me the price for a large popcorn, and two orders of 10 pretzel bites was.. $15! That is what you might pay for a single popcorn in some places.. add in the $6 movie tickets and I have absolutely no idea what people are complaining about... However, people do love to complain don't they?

Decided on a whim to go for a solo movie late afternoon. I usually end up at one of the larger theaters but didn’t wanna go out of the way and took a chance on this theater. Friendly staff, comfy seats, fresh popcorn and everything was cheaper than any other theater I have been too. Looks like I found my new spot!

Just recently went to see Skinamarick. I’ve been here once before and I love it. The place has nostalgic ambiance. The place is clean. They warned us before buying our movie that the theater didn’t have heat so that was nice of them. They also gave me a free popcorn to compensate. The theater wasn’t even that cold anyways. I can’t wait to come back and the prices are so much cheaper than any other theater.

We love going to the movies here. I don't care about reclining seats or 3d. Coram movie land is like going to a movie theater in the nineties. The seats are fine, the price for tickets is good and I've never had a problem seeing a new film opening weekend if I choose to.

Clean and very reasonably priced local theater. Prices are fantastic and staff was friendly!

Rented out the whole theater for a birthday party. Popcorn and drinks were included. Nearby pizza place (Bella Maria) delivered pizza.
Helpful staff reasonable pricing.

Greatest movie theater on long Island, believe me.

I am absolutely devastated to hear the greatest movie theater in the country is closeing down. This is a national tragedy and you will be missed.

Omg. We came to the movies tonight at 830pm and had the pleasure of Jake the ticket guy/ candy. When he went to help us with our snacks he WASHED HIS HANDS BEFORE HELPING US AGAIN. Awesome to see this especially during this time. Thank you Jake for being so courteous and so polite. And for washing your hands. We will be back. Our new theater.
We have gone again twice so far and we’re going again tonight. I never liked going to the movies. And now I’m enjoying myself at this theater.

Movieland Cinemas is a amazing family owned establishment. This theater is affordable and bringing new experiences to the community. They offer fun events including movie characters for exciting photo ops , sensory sensitive viewing on select dates and private birthday parties. You will not be disappointed by far my favorite theater to bring my family.

Somthing about this place makes me feel like I’m a child at the movies again, the staff was super friendly and the theatre wasn’t packed at all for a movie that just came out ( ant man quantomania) this is 100% gonna be my new movie theatre spot and I’m gonna recommend others

The prices are to the best out of every theater, you can catch a movie and snacks for 20$ were others are like 30+

Your also getting a great movie plus the crowd always makes me laugh. Its nice to see a theater were you can interact as a crowd and not got kicked out.

All the staff was friendly and kind and the theater was nice a clean!

I love this Movie Theater! It is super clean, the staff is nice AND most importantly,
the prices are definitely affordable for a family of 5! I don't think I'll go to another theater after the great experience my family had there.

My mom loves to watch movies here. It isn't much, just a local theater but for what it is, it's good. It's not trying to pretend it's a high class theater

What a wonderful family friendly movie theater! Such fun family events can’t wait to go back again soon! Love that they are starting to have sensory days for our kids who can’t cope with the loud sounds/dark they really are catering to everyone’s needs! Will be back soon!

Always liked this place, cheap tickets and good popcorn and candy. The seats are very comfortable and spacious.

I was comparing seeing Spiderman with my brother at AMC vs Movieland. The ticket was over $17 at AMC!!! But at Movieland it was only $10. On top of that, the usher talked me into their loyalty Star Card and now I'm getting $6 movie tickets for an entire year! With tickets this cheap I can actually see all the movies I want instead of being so picky. I loved when I entered that they're playing music from classic movies and that really topped it off for me. This place is just a cool, comfortable, super cheap place to go with my friends. The young staff were so friendly- like actually looked me in the eye and made me feel like a person and not just a number. I'm going to use my Star Card all year now.

This theater is awesome. It is very clean and the customer service was great. Prices are too he best. Everyone should come!!! Thank you so much to the owners and the staff.

Best kept secret on Long Island. Affordable prices, friendly staff, cushy seats, small theaters with that old-town vibe. Never crowded. Spotless!
