The mangano Funeral home is such an amazing team of people who are extremely empathetic towards you and your family. I personally was being helped by Sean and it was extremely helpful while handling the grief of my mother on how to navigate each thing I needed to do. My mothers service was beautiful from their teams hard work. I cannot thank them all enough for their help during this horrible time.

The same day my family reached out to Mangano funeral home due to my mom entering hospice care, to discuss pending arrangements, my mom passed away that evening. Thomas from Mangano sprung into action immediately and made the arrangements for my mom’s transport from TX to Long Island and all details in general. On top of it all, we had to communicate every detail to my dad as a middle man as he doesn’t do email/cell phones/texts. The communication was constant and the patience was immeasurable. No detail left out. To say Thomas made this truly terrible time for our family easy is an understatement. I don’t want to have to keep giving them business ;) but I recommend them with highest regard. This coming from a very tough critic!

This was my third time using the Mangano funeral home for a family member services . The Mangano family has been extremely comforting and understanding in our families time of grieving and need. I highly recommend anyone looking for services for their loved ones to consider the Mangano family for their expertise in meeting your needs.

We visited several funeral homes and none of them compared to Mangano. The Mangano location in Deer Park is beautiful, accommodating to all needs and kept in pristine condition. The personnel and customer service were a 5-star rating in my book! The team helped us put together a photo montage very last minute which was beyond our expectations. We were scrambling with flowers, and they helped us get that in order and worked with their local florist to help prepare our service. This was our first experience getting all these arrangements together and the Mangano team was instrumental in creating a beautiful service for a deceased mother that over exceeding our expectations. In addition, the facility has a private space for children which served to be very helpful for several of our family members. I would hands down recommend them to all of my friends and family and they will be my funeral home of choice moving forward. Thanks again to every single team member that assisted us on 8/18! We were able to only focus on mourning our deceased mother in peace without added stress.

Being that my mom was not well we all had a gut feeling like how would mom look, my family and I came little earlier to see how she looked and made sure all else was fine….when we walked in we were all in awe! She looked amazing absolutely beautiful like she was her old self just sleeping! Everyone in your family at Mangano was amazing but the one how stood out the most for us was Michael, the courtesy, the warmth, compassion, how he spoke to all of us with such care really meant a lot to us. Michael made sure we were all ok if we needed anything, organized what needed to be taken as we left. Unfortunately 4wks later my dad passed and we had to relive all of this heartache again….and as always it was outstanding. Thank you Michael and the Mangano family again. It was greatly appreciated.

Exceptional care. A complicated funeral arrangement from Florida and the owner came on the phone and spent so much time listening. Everything worked out so well and it is all because this company cares. This was almost two years ago so I am sorry that I did not write this sooner...ah, life.

Sal and his team, Dawn and James, were so caring and attentive to all our needs during my dads wake and funeral service. We had over 200 people come through the services and it felt organized, calming, and comforting. The small seating areas, with couches added a homey feel. The renovation is really perfect. I really can't say enough about the place.

My wife and I suffered a devastating loss recently and it was our first time going through a post burial process. We didn't know where to start and eventually we decided to call local funeral homes for quotes.

After dealing with an insensitive and downright rude funeral director at another local funeral home, we found our way to Mangano Funeral Home and with the Funeral Director Sean O. He treated us with the utmost sincerity, attention, and professionalism we felt we deserved going through such a difficult time. He explained to us the processes in detail, followed up with us regularly, and was very understanding throughout the whole process working with our busy schedules along the way.

We cannot thank Sean and the team at Mangano enough for all their sensitive care and hand holding throughout the way. Everyone was attentive and sincere when we spoke with them which is something we feel most would want when going through loss, grief, and sadness. When my dad passed away unexpectedly, we were completely lost on what to do on top of our grief. I am so glad we chose Mangano's. Not only did they do a beautiful service, everyone was so kind and empathetic. They made this process as easy as possible. Joe called my mom frequently just to check up on her. Mangano Family Funeral home in Deer Park is top notch. We had my dad's funeral there in September. Sean, was our funeral director. Sean gave my dad a beautiful funeral and send off with respect and dignity above and beyond what we ever expected. Sean arranged for a police flag ceremony, pall bearers and bugle player (my dad was retired from NYPD). At the cemetary, Sean arranged for a military flag ceremony and bugle player (my dad was in the Navy). We did not go to Calverton. We went to Pinelawn for the burial. It all meant so much to us. From the minute we walked in to make the funeral arrangements until the limousine dropped us off at home we were treated so kindly.
Sadly, we were back 5 weeks later in October to make arrangements for my son's funeral. My 29 year old son passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Again, we were treated with such care. Sean is amazing. He didn't even blink an eye when we requested for visitors to wear crazy socks. My son was treated with dignity and respect. The cosmetologist did a wonderful job. It looked like my son. Thank you for that. The send off my son received was perfect. We had my son cremated. When we went to pick up his ashes, we met Kim. Kim, thank you for taking the time to sit and talk with us. Sean, thank you for being so kind, gentle, amazing and for being a good listener. Thank you to Sal as well for going above and beyond for my family. Sean, Sal, Kim, Dawn, Amanda thank you for everything. I am sorry if I left off some names. But, truly, the entire staff at Mangano's is great. I hope I don't have to plan another funeral for a while. But if I do, it will be at Mangano's.

At a time when it was needed the most. Kimberly at Mangano Funeral Home . helped my family & I tremendously! My mom had passed away & we we’re all at a loss for words. She guided us patiently. The entire staff were very professional and went beyond to make sure we were OK! I was so touched on the way to the cemetery we had stopped in front of my mothers house and they placed a rose by her front door. Extremely touching. I highly recommend them. Thank you so much for your kindness in a time that was greatly appreciated.

I have to give this funeral home a 5 star rating. Back in 2013 my mother passed away and my family had the service done at this funeral home and they were great. This year my father passed away in February and they were great. Joe the funeral director is such a great man!! Would highly recommend this funeral home!!
