Barrel & Boar Canal Winchester

My husband took me to Barrel and Boar this evening and it was delicious. The service was great, staff very friendly. Sky our waitress was wonderful and had plenty of recommendations. I got ribs and my husband got Mac And cheese dinner. We had lovely drinks. The atmosphere was very relaxed and chill we sat out on the patio and enjoyed the busy streets.

Emily was our waitress and she was great. Our order came out quickly, hot and fresh. Barrel & Boar has the best ribs hands down. Price wise we had 1 appetizer, 1 full rack of ribs with one extra side, brownie dessert (which was AMAZING) and 2 beers and it was $97.

My mom and I had dinner here tonight and it was both of our first times to eat here. We absolutely loved it!! The food was phenomenal, best greens and corn bread with the honey butter. We will definitely go again.

We went here for dinner for the first time tonight and Jackie was our fabulous server in their relaxing and pleasant outdoor patio. The food and service was great! We had the ribs and Mac n cheese BBQ dinner and they were both delicious! The sweet tea and wine was amazing while enjoying the beautiful evening. We will be back. A great place to grab some quality BBQ. Must add hush puppies to any order. If your feeling famished hit up the shrimp grits. Ask for Megan when you get there.

The shrimp and grits are palate fantastic. The roasted brussel sprouts a treat. The collard greens are wow. And the beef brisket is flavorful. Nice atmosphere.

Rich is amazing the food is even better. Never have any issues. 10/10 recommended.

I love their smoked chicken wings! Never have I been disappointed with anything that I have ordered. Service and atmosphere was grade A

3rd time here and 3rd time that I’ve had an amazing experience. Dawn always takes care of me and my bestie and I wouldn’t want anyone else. She is great at recommending menu items and giving honest opinions. Her smoked old fashioned was outstanding! Dawn, you are THE BEST! See you next time 😉

Awesome atmosphere, kind staff, food was very good. Had hush puppies and the meatloaf. If ever in town again would visit for another meal.

Had lunch on the patio today. Our server, Dawn, was a true delight. She knew the menu, knew the history of the restaurant, and had great recommendations. This wasn’t our first time here, we’ve had not so great service and food before, but this visit was MUCH better. The food came out hot and fresh. And absolutely delicious. Kudos to Dawn and the Chef today! Will definitely be back.

Came here with my wife and parents for lunch and it was excellent. Food was top notch and service was outstanding. Definately had a very unique vibe and menu. House made everything from scratch. The chicken and waffles will change your life and the blueberry ale was one of the best beers I've ever had. Can't recommend this place enough. Only gripe I can come up with is no restaurant designated parking. Also the waiter lingered too much chatting with us but we were literally the only table he had so I think was just trying too hard.

Stopped in for brunch on Sunday. Wow. So delicious. Everything was hot and fresh and just prepared, you could tell. We had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager, Rich, who was absolutely great and his bartender, Dawn L.,who served us was just phenomenal. They are a great team and so so entertaining. They had us laughing on more than one occasion. Amazing fresh food is always great but being made to feel at home is even better. We can’t wait to return. Thank you both!

The food was outstanding. We got the loaded fries with brisket, shrimp & grits, hush puppies with honey butter, and brisket BLT. The best were the loaded fries and shrimp & grits. Comparable to when we have traveled to NOLA. 10/10 would recommend. Look forward to coming back.

Another visit and a very well one again! Food is so amazing and service is incredible. We got to visit our favorite bartender, Dawn, and enjoy her service. It was the night before Thanksgiving and she was busy but still provided great service. She even remembered us and welcomed us back! So glad that we found this little gem. The food continues to impress. Can say without a single ounce of doubt, we will most definitely be back again!!

She was the best ever. Very friendly and easy to talk with. Helpful with questions about items on the menu. Watched her server several other table with professionalism and kindness. I liked the computer order table she used. We were seating back by the entrance to the kitchen and it was very interesting listening the the conversations in the kitchen. In a loud voice was a

Had a wonder experience today at lunch. The loaded fries are the best I have ever had. I ordered the Flying Hawaiian with the Mac and cheese as my side. It was a shredded chicken but instead of it being the traditional finely shredded it was large chunks. It was delicious. The mas and cheese was on point. I suggest the patio cocktail refreshing with a little kick. Thank you to Our server April for amazing service you were wonderful. We will definitely be back.
