I wish I could say what a great time my daughter had at this place, but sadly, we never got the chance to experience it. Here's the story: my 5 year old received a gift for the BFF Spa Day for her and a friend. A relative purchased the Groupon for an hour for 2 girls. I called to schedule during the first week in August and got the answering machine. I left a message. About a week later, I still had not heard back, so I called again, and got the answering machine AGAIN. Is anybody ever there?? (I called during their supposed business hours both times) I again left a message. No call back. A few days later (August 11th), I went on their Facebook page and noticed they had posted that they were having an issue with their scheduling system and requested people contact them if they had an appointment. I commented on that post that I was trying to schedule an appointment but could not reach them. Within a short time, I received a message from the owner, Cari, on Facebook messenger. We scheduled an appointment for Thursday, August 18th at 5 PM. I received a text confirmation as well. On that day, my daughter, myself, her friend, and her friend's mom arrived at the salon at 5PM for our appointment. The doors were locked, the lights were out, nobody was there. I tried calling the salon, and SURPRISE...no answer. I sent Cari a message as well, stating "Hi Cari, we are here for our appointment and nobody is here." We waited about 20 minutes and nobody showed. We then went next door to Ralph's and were there until 6 pm and still, nobody showed. We went home. The girls were disappointed, as they had really been looking forward to this. I heard from Cari that night again via Facebook messenger (again, do these people not believe in using the telephone??). She apologized and said she had no idea why her girl wasn't there. No offers, no resolutions, just "I don't know what happened!" That is the last I have heard from her or anybody else. This was three days ago. I left another message at the salon, I messaged Cari stating i was extremely disappointed about this and requested she let me know how we can make this up to the girls. Like I said, I have not heard a single word from anybody since then. Today (August 21st), we returned the Groupon. I will not give this place my business. Completely unprofessional and discourteous. I understand that things happen - perhaps there was an emergency for the girl who was supposed to be there. But seriously, the lack of communication from anybody from this establishment from the very beginning of this whole thing has been extremely frustrating. It took 10 days to make an appointment - over FACEBOOK - we get there and nobody was there - and I get absolutely no resolution after repeatedly trying to contact somebody. This is not a way to run a business - especially one that deals with children. Luckily, our kids are perfectly happy just going to our local nail salon to get pedicures. Don't waste your money on this unprofessional business. Not worth it.
