El Toro Restaurant

Great food. The chorizo and cheese sauce on the Pollo Loco was incredible. The chicken wings were meaty and hot. We will return. Our server Jennifer was super efficient and attentive.

The chips are warm and the salsa is great. Got the "chicken soup" and it did not disappoint. So good....

I am from Kansas City ( the Midwest). I ordered the shrimp and scallops with chipotle cream sauce. It was excellent.
A big difference is that the same type of meal in our market would have been wrapped in a flour tortilla, and topped with sauce. I prefer this style better and think the flour tortilla is not really necessary.
This was served with rice, broccoli and yellow and green sauce. The Midwest serves it with beans and rice which has become boring, old fast and not as attractive. Executive Chef for El Toro has done an excellent job and the kitchen staff on Limestone Ave a great job of presentation and skill

Great chicken tacos! Great service and super fast!

Another time we got the street tacos as pictured. Both chicken and steak but the chicken is the best hands down

We visited this restaurant after work, there couldn't be anything better than that decision; Miguel is one of the most incredible people we have met throughout these 10 states that we have visited, and we have been eating and dining every day for four months in different restaurants, if you come here do not hesitate to visit this place, and if Miguel attends to you, it's your lucky day

Found this place near the hotel we were staying at. Staff was friendly and the food was great. We had their margarita flight and it was worth trying, would definitely get it again if we make it back.

Every visit is amazing! It has become one of my favorite places to eat! Highly recommended, especially if you haven't been before!

This is an excellent restaurant. Stopped for dinner and had the fajita burrito. It was absolutely delicious and the service was spot on.

If you’re looking for great flavor and massive portions, El Toro is the place to be. Their birria tacos were so flavorful and extremely delicious!

We pulled into the parking lot just as the restaurant was opening. By the time we got our food, half of the place was full. Must be a local hot spot. The decor was classic Mexican restaurant and then some, there were some cool things hanging up, and nothing was dusty or old looking. Very nice and clean. The food was good and reasonably priced. My favorite item that I got to try was the pork tamale. Our server was friendly and tentative. Would definitely visit this place again if passing through.

1st time ever eating here , it was a great experience.

The place from the outside didn't say much but once inside it was very nice. And the food was incredible. Very nice and the waitress was very patient. My carnitas were juicy and delicious. My husband ordered the Cali Burrito and it was nice. A bit spicy and big.

They have excellent food and massive portions. The prices are reasonable and the seafood is amazing. I've been there twice and both times it's been nothing but spectacular. It's the best Mexican place in town.

The young waiter was attentive despite having quite a few tables to serve. The kids had a great time. Because they enjoyed getting to give their orders and being treated like grown-ups.

This is the south end, and let me tell you it's like we are on the upper class not on the bottom. But south limestone Springfield Ohio is better than all the others in town combined! The cooks are chefs! and the professionalizem of the staff are great and fare exceed any of my expectations. I'm always so impressed I leave 20 or more tip! And I'm broke! Lol but when I do get a couple dollars and treat the family s limestone Eltoros is family favorite. Even my picky 6 year old boy love it!

Our go to place for a date night or family gathering. Wonderful customer service
