Bootsies Service Station

Usually cheaper on gas than the big brand in town plus they come out and pump the gas. I like supporting local businesses.
I've been coming here for a few months. I like the fact that its a full service gas station. After work all I want to do is get home.

Does great work on cars. Is fair and considerate.

I have had my vehicles fixed there a few times. Always done right and great prices. As for the older gentleman I think he is fantastic. Yea maybe some think he is crabby. Not me he is like my grandpa was and I don't know his age but he still moves great.

I love the fact that this is a full service gas station. You don't find many places that still pump your gas oh, I love it!

Though this gas station looked a bit run down I still decided to pull in and give it a try because it was located in an old town with some charm. However as I sat at a gas pump replying to a text message before going in to the store; the owner of the gas station came out and knocked on my window, asked if "I needed directions to somewhere else and then said I was blocking his pump." So I then drove next door and used the much cleaner and nicer-looking Marathon station.

I’m disabled. To the point I have a handicap placard. I stopped at Bootsies to get gas because I'm hurting and the old man was such a dick. I don’t know if he’s the owner or just works there. He came out to pump my gas grumpy as hell. After he pumped the gas I asked for cigarettes and he said you can come inside to get those it's not gonna hurt you none. Then it took me at least three minutes to walk inside and the whole time I had pain going down my left leg while I was standing there then it took me forever to walk back out Because I was in so much pain. When i have a good health day I pump my own gas but today was a VERY BAD day. So I was willing to pay a premium for full-service. And I never do full-service. I’ve been coming here 21 years but I will never go back again. That’s not how to treat someone that is disabled!

Been thinking about moving to lithopolis since it's such a beautiful area, was at the honey fest and went in the store and no one was there, walked around trying to find someone and there was and older gentleman sitting in the shop just watching me, I asked if he worked there and he said yes, I asked if they had a bathroom and he said no it's closed because people keep asking and I could use one at the festival "over there" and I looked outside and asked if he knew where they were and he got mad and started yelling. I always liked the look of that little old gas station and thought about stopping for fuel to help small local businesses but I definitely won't be now and am not even sure I want to move there if that's any indication of it's residents... That said everyone at the festival was wonderful but I did only find one portajon with quite a long line. Still holding it in as I write this.
