Mala Hotpot Evendale

A good hotpot spot with great atmosphere. The tables are clean the staff was friendly and polite. The veggie options and the sauces were nice. The broths were good and the portions were decent. The veggies and toppings are unlimited. The quality of the meats was good as well. The fish and lobster balls were good. Overall a great spot to Njoy hotpot.

There were five of us and we each ordered different proteins and we shared. The individualized broth/soup worked well for all of us. I got the Mala's spicy broth that I spiced up using additional schechuan chillies. Everything about the place is what one would get in Chongqing or Chengdu. I love going here during the cold winter days.

It’s our “go to” hotpot restaurant. They recently made improvements with unlimited vegetables that you go to the bar and get. I like that it is small rather than the AYCE other hot pots places around. This is my daughter’s favorite local restaurant and we always have a great time. Also, you can have ice cream to finish your meal. Just perfect.

Mala was delicious. So yummy that I crave their tomato soup hotpot! The restaurant is super clean and has a very white aesthetic. The staff is super patient and will explain the process, especially if you are new here. The menu is pretty easy to read and fill out. It goes step by step but for the price the portion was a lot! To the point I even had a left over meal to take home. The plates provide a lot of meat and the best part was that you could cook it all yourself. They also have a sauce bar so you could add hot chili oil or dip your meats for more flavor. Overall it was a 10/10 experience. They even had a robot bring you your order/additional items that you order.

Very beginner friendly! It was our first time trying hotpot and the waiters were happy to explain everything about the cuisine and how to cook it. Delicious and a great way to catch up with friends!

So I've been here a few times since they opened and I have had amazing meals every time. The food is fresh quick and unique. I would describe it to the uninitiated Cincinnatian as a fondue like experience with meat. Every bite is better than the last as it changes while you eat. The staff is attentive and makes sure you are educated on how and what to cook and even what sauces to mix. Be ready to spend a little time eating as that is part of the experience but it's worth your time.

10 put of 10 get the mala broth it's to die for everyone is so friendly and the food is out of the world.

The restaurant is beautiful and they even have robots that deliver to the table if your looking not just for hotpot but and expirence look no further you found the right place.

This is a fantastic which would be great to bring the entire family they even have robots that bring your food to your table they are very cautious on coronavirus precautions you have to have your temperature checked upon arrival all of the booths are sanitized as well as protected via plexiglass barriers.

I'm am so excited that this place is finally open. The food and the experience is amazing. They are very nice, so if you have never had hotpot, dont hesitate to ask them. We had a lot of questions about the menu and they were very helpful. The place is really nice and clean and the work they did to fix it up was quite impressive. Go here.

I go here all the time with my daughter or mom service is exceptional restaurant is always clean food is great! They added pot stickers and kimchi since my last visit I love this place

Loved everything we had at Mala Hotpot. The service was very quick for seating. The robot dumbwaiters come out with the main meal portions very quickly with the waitress quickly behind with the broths and setting up the hotpots at the table. Had some in my group that could not use chopsticks and were amenable with wire utensils to use in the pot and other cutlery. The mala broth with ramen was the best ramen that I have had anywhere. Will definitely be back any time I am in town.

The combo meal here is an absolutely extraordinary value! You get a protein, vegetables, and a carb for under 20 bucks. The quality is also great. I can’t even make Hot Pot at home for these prices.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time last night. We were celebrating my birthday and I wanted to try something different. We weren't disappointed! Our waiter was very friendly and was patient with telling us how hot pots worked and how to cook the food. He even made a dipping sauce for me! The food is fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and orderly with a nice modern look on the inside. The price is reasonable for the the amount and quality of food given. I was even able to take some soup home. Mala Hot Pot is definitely a taste experience perfect for leisure dining with family and friends. I can't wait to go back!

I’ve been here 2 times with my family and let me tell you, it is amazing !!! They give you a good amount ingredients when you order for yourself. I haven’t tried any other soup broth besides Chicken and Mushroom base. Not a big fan of seafood but the beef combo and lamb combo is amazing !!! They also give you another sheet to check off an other hot pot things you want like. When I go with my family we each order different things and share ingredients. If you are on a budget, 2 people sharing one soup is enough just order extra meat and veggies. Two times I went I didn’t have any problems with the staff they were very attentive and a waitress that wasn’t even serving us ask if we needed anything or more water. But other than that if you are big soup and hot pot person this place is wonders. Also, this place is clean, even their bathrooms. I love it !!! Would highly recommend this place.
