After receiving several estimates from contractors for gutters and siding, my husband and I decided to hire Anthony. He made us feel comfortable and took the time to discuss our best options for this project.

The words caring, professional, talented, and empathetic come to mind when I think about Strong Island Improvements. We had no idea what the extent of damage was under the existing asbestos shingle siding. They worked continuously for 10 days until my high ranch was properly ripped and resided. Anthony and his crew tackled the monumental task of doing the job right and replaced the damaged boards. We are so glad they were able to handle the repairs as I couldn't imagine dealing with this years down the line after having originally wanted to side OVER the asbestos shingle.

Their workmanship was amazing (so much attention to detail) and they cleaned up the site and removed all of their debris. They left my house looking pristine. We thank Anthony so much for going above and beyond. I will definitely use them for future projects and gladly recommend them to anyone who is in need of an honest company.

Just finished having our house resided. The house is beautiful! We had the best experience with Anthony and his crew from Strong Island Home Improvement. He gave us a great price, helped us navigate details to the work we would not have considered and was always extremely professional. The work itself is impecccible, and the crew showed up on time and cleaned up every day. There were no gaps in the work schedule and the job was completed on schedule. We have dogs and I was worried about small pieces of debris and nails in our yard but each day when they finished I scoured the work area and was amazed at how safe he had made it for them!

Great work on our roof replacement. The whole job was done in less than a day. Very professional. The construction debris was cleaned up like they were never there. Dealing with Anthony and his crew was very comfortable. The house looks beautiful. I needed my windows replaced. Never having done this before, Anthony, the owner, guided me though every step. This included which window would be best for my needs and in my price range. The price he quoted was the price I paid, even when they had to replace most of the rotting wood that was hidden.

I was concerned about my having to reinstall the blinds and ruin my new windows. It was put in the contract that it would be included at no charge. Anthony also graciously said he would return in the summer to install my window air conditioners, no charge. While the crew was here, I had mentioned that the previous owner put wainscoting above the baseboard radiator and one side had a gap of 2” with 1” at the other end. Anthony bought decorative moulding that matched perfectly and to my surprise, installed it. All free of charge.

The job was finished fast and the outcome was beautiful. The crew was careful while in my home and cleaned up inside and out. I highly recommend Strong Island Home Improvements.

We are very happy with Anthony Lombardo and Strong Island Home Improvements. We replaced the roof, skylights and siding on our house and upgraded three old drafty windows and installed a sliding door. We sought a number of estimates and not only was the estimate competitively priced, but Anthony gave us a sense of being honest and trustworthy. He arrived with his crew and worked alongside them daily on site. The work was performed to a very high standard. He has an eye for detail and finish and he listened to our requests and advised us well. The crew was on schedule as predicted and arrived punctually every day. Replacing roof and siding is a messy job and the crew cleaned up all the debris. If there were any causes for delay beyond their control e.g. pandemic-related issues or the weather, Anthony and the crew would come and complete the work at the earliest opportunity, working late or on the weekends. We highly recommend him.

Anthony and Tony were amazing to work with! From start to finish they explained what they would be doing and would go that extra mile suggesting what would be best, even if it took them longer. I felt like they did the work as if it were their home and wanted it to be the best it could possibly be without cutting any corners. They were professional, courteous and cleaned up every day. I hired Strong Island Home Improvement for a roof repair on my parent's house. They did an amazing job! The price was right and they followed through on everything they said. We brought them in originally to do interior work on our unfinished basement. They did great, high quality work very quickly and at a reasonable price including new drywall, rebuilding door frames, and putting in new floors. We plan on using them again for future projects.
