Can't call them

Last month bill, on Jan 11th, I repeatedly had to call THEM to get my bill. They claimed they could calculate my bill because my energy supplier had not sent the required info. BULL####! They were able to determine the transmission and distribution portion, which is based on the KW used. They knew the rate for supplier. Simply math.

Now, currently, their useless web page has not been updated with my usage since Sun, Jan 14. NO KW or $. I have called, given feedback using their page and still not even a reply or a public statement.

Someone spends way too much time making all those fancy graphics to show consumers the bulk of their current month's energy is for heat. WOW- January, who would have thought. Just put the actual usage numbers out and most us will be able to figure our bills in advance

I have a smart meter on my house. They disconnected me today although they noted it last night that I would be paying it tonight. They also did not call me 2 days prior to disconnection for the smart meter even though they are supposed to. The website says that I can pay $155 to get it reconnected today. I called and the representative told me $283, which is almost twice as much as the website says I need to pay. It is absolutely ridiculous. Yet I can't go through another company because they monopolize, don't give accurate information and do not communicate when they are supposed to. I would give zero stars if I could. Absolutely ridiculous and money hungry.

Terrible company that's money hungry. Don't get on a payment plan, it doesn't matter in the end. Avoid if you can. Avoid at all costs

I have strong feelings for AEP right now. . .
Never received a bill for the month of May, and are now being told we didn't pay.
I just checked the list of bills for our previous account, and a bill for the month of May does not even exist, but OF COURSE, after I call and tell them that I can see no evidence of a bill from the month of May, it's there. It's hard to pay a bill that was never received in the first place.

We are continually having issues with AEP charging us ridiculous amounts, and despite having paid off our previous account IN FULL, we are being told that we owe over $100.

I have yet to speak with a competent individual regarding these many issues over the past 6+ months.

This company is full of horrible people who want nothing but to empty the pockets of people who can't afford high electric bills.

Thieves.

very inappropriate/unnecessary to have political stickers on your company vehicles.

No phone number
