Ottawa Metro Park

Big park with well maintained lawn,with a beautiful lake where you can take a walk or fishing. Playground for kids. It's an ideal place for family or friends outing.

Nice park. Has a frisbee golf course!! Which I was excited to see! A nice amphitheatre was by a grove of trees that had to be intricately planted in rows. There's a sitting area in the middle of the trees, which was pretty cool.

This place was so much fun. My husband and my brother and sister in law went without the kids and got to play like we were kids. The beach is clean nice looking and all the blow ups and slides were so much fun. We really enjoyed ourselves. The only downside is there is no snack or drink bar so you have to bring g your own drinks and snacks. Otherwise it was great

Nice playground, shelter houses, lake and reservoir. Don’t expect much for the glorified port a pots, Berry stinky on most occasions when visited. The walk atoms the reservoir is beautiful!

Always love camping here, great price and unlimited firewood is available for just $10 more. Bathrooms are always clean and campsites are spacious and paved. Trails are nice to walk or bike along playgrounds for kids are close by as well. Lima reservoir is also within walking distance to canoe kayak or fish in. Metro park beach offers $1 off swimming for campers as well.

10/10 most definitely recommend for all sorts of photos. Family, engagement, etc. multiple backgrounds/sceneries

Went to the 50th celebration festival here and had a great time with my boys starting the festival off with a youth fishing derby where my son caught two 12lb bass and a decent sized perch.. Swimming 12 and under was free as well as, food trucks, Zipline, and bounce houses. It was super hot so we mainly stayed at the swimming pond in the water and playing in the sand. Later on Nashville Crush put on a free concert and played for the last two hours. We did come across a complication with my youngest son while swimming. He had developed a bad rash all over both of his arms. After thoroughly washing upon returning home, the rash disappeared by day two. I am assuming he had an allergic reaction the dye they use to color the swimming pond and being that he has sensitive skin and many allergy issues. Other than that great time!

We had such a great experience with the Naturalist Dan. He was super great! Made it a great day for the kids. He was so knowledgeable. We had so much fun!

This is a great place to take your kids to swim, very cheap and the water was very clean! The entire park was clean, and my family had tons of fun here.

Rotary River Walk is spectacular! Great for walking riding and differently abled access. A real Lima gem! Mesa Boogie dog loved it!

Large playground, a larger lake, a smaller swimming pond, a campground and a 13 mile bike trail. Great place to spend an afternoon or a weekend.

Utilized their self check in camping. Picked my spot, set up, and then filledy reg card and paid for my time. Well maintained and nice amenities!

This is a really nice and clean park. It has electric, water hookups and a dump station. Lots of paved trails to walk or bike on. Overall a real nice campground and park. My only complaint is you can hear Interstate traffic even when it is not real close.

This is a great park with really nice walking/biking path, disc golf course, park for kids, pond with a beach and larger body of water for fishing. Beautiful nature and lots of opportunities for great photos.

Beautiful, well taken care of park.

Played a round of disc golf here. The first half of the course was better than the second, but very fun. There were several picnic areas available. My visit was in labor day which is when I assume the beach closed. Seemed like a good establishment though. I'd love to go back and explore more of the park. It was well maintained.

Nice disc golf course. Hole 5 has an awesome spot to take a break and listen to the river. It is nice to have a place were bikes and dogs are welcome on the path. I really like the new addition to the path that connects to the river walk

I especially appreciate the disc golf course. It is well designed, cared for and just this year, got a bit trickier! :-) The park is well kept, with a good hiking path that takes you into Lima, a tree walk (?) with the cuttings from famous trees (sounds weird, but it's cool) and apparently, friends tell me, very nice camping (the RV kind)
