What a great evening we had. The food was outstanding, the drinks were great, and the entertainment was top-notch. I would highly recommend going to Lannings in Akron if you’re in the area. The steaks we had in fillets were fantastic.

So far above the rest! This restaurant from start to finish is the entire dining experience personified! From the convenience of the valet and coat check, to the host who always makes certain that you are welcome to be there, this dining experience is old school full service. The food is exceptional, steaks are cooked to perfection the way a steak should be cooked and full of flavor. Seafood is always fresh, sharable sides are generous and some of the best I have ever had. Just like with everything else every attention to detail at Lanning's is carefully paid attention to. Its a group effort here and it shows. If you are looking for a true first class dining experience and top notch food that is worth every penny.. Dean Martin's Lanning's is an absolute must go!

My wife and I have been to a lot of steak places, but Lanning's Steakhouse has become one of our go-to spots lately. Here’s why we think it’s special:

First off, the steaks here are always spot on. They’ve got this sauce that goes with the filet, and honestly, it’s just the right touch. We used to live on the east coast where oysters were a big deal, and we’re picky about them. The Blue Point oysters at Lanning's? Top-notch. They’re one of the few places we trust to get oysters fresh.

They do a Caesar salad that’s a bit different from what you might expect, but in a good way. And those homemade croutons they throw in are amazing. I get the salad just to have those. Everything we’ve tried here has been great, no exceptions.

What makes a big difference for us, though, is the service. The people here know how to take care of you. They get what fine dining is supposed to be like. Plus, they’ve recently remodeled the bar lounge area, and we really enjoy dining on that side of the fence now. It feels just right.

The owners are around a lot, too. They make it a point to say hi, thank you, and make you feel like you’re more than just another customer. It’s nice to see that kind of attention in a place.

With all the fancy restaurant choices around, Lanning's has quickly become one of our favorites. Great food, great service, and a place where they make you feel like family. That’s hard to beat.

Another great experience at this classic reignited Akron staple. Every inch of the restaurant and bar has been meticulously redone and somehow feels like the same amazing space. It's a can't miss every time.

I was a first time guest at Lanning's last night. The maître d and hostess were friendly and accommodating during my brief wait for my date, making me feel comfortable as they continued to welcome other diners. A lively lounge with friendly patrons, a smooth saxophone player and knowledgeable bartender was the perfect place to relax before our reservation time.
The atmosphere at Lanning's is timeless elegance and we were seated at a table with a lovely view. The wait staff was charming and efficient without being pushy or intrusive.
The menu is straight forward with quality food prepared beautifully. Be aware that this is not fast food in any way; it is a dining experience.
10/10, highly recommend Lanning's as the place to be.

Culinary Masterpieces, my compliments to the chef! Exemplary service, there wasn't a detail left unattended, beverages were topped off and we were checked on by friendly, professional, and expeditious wait staff! The bartenders/mixologists made incredible cocktails delivered with flair and class! The owner personally visits and gets feedback, shows attention to detail and that they all genuinely care for what they do! Finally, the overall atmosphere has a very timeless feel , clean, classy, and upscale experience. Highly recommend, hands down the best upscale restaurant I have been to.

I took my wife and in-laws to Lannings for my in-laws 63rd wedding anniversary. My wife and I had been there about a month ago, and had a wonderful meal with excellent service. This visit did not disappoint. Dean, the owner stopped by and thanked us for coming and congratulated my in-laws. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was giant and very tasty. We had three 10oz filets that were cooked perfectly and one scampi that my mother-in-law said was excellent. Sides of mashed potatoes, creamed spinach, and mushrooms were all excellent. The restaurant recognized my in-laws special occasion with a card and complementary dessert for both of them. Thanks Dean Martin's Lannings for an wonderful meal and experience.

What a great vibe! Awesome food backed up by incredible service in a really cool, swanky space. A nice wine list at reasonable prices. Everything was on point. Live entertainment took the evening to another level. Very friendly staff and complimentary valet parking.

My husband and I hired a sitter for a fancy date night out at Lanning's. After driving by it hundreds of times, we decided we had to try it.

(We did not come prepared with cash for the valet and parked ourselves in a nearby lot - bring cash if you want to use the valet service!)

We had the pork belly, which was unbelievable, as the appetizer, steaks were velvety perfect, potatoes were fluffy and soft - but the star of the show was definitely the butter cake. Do not skip the butter cake!

It was pricy for one meal but worth it as an occasional special treat. We'll definitely be back!

Lannings is great to go to for a special occasion. We went for our anniversary and was greeted with mandatory valet and a hand written anniversary card at our table. Food was excellent but was hard to swallow the $200+ bill after tip. We did get a free dessert for our anniversary.

If you want to go to a formal fancy dinner, this is the place to go to.

What can I say. I enjoyed the service, the food was excellent and very romantic. I felt life the staff really wanted the night to be special when they saw my wife and I step out of our vehicle. They took very good care of us.

A good friend took me To Lanning's Which I have patronized for more than 30 years. I wanted to see the new décor Taste the food again under new owners.

was smooth and Velvety, The Scallops were perfectly done.

I would suggest since many His landings customers From days gone by are now 60 7080s and 90, To reward us by having an early bird at 5 o'clock , I have mentioned this to numerous Seniors and on week days, Lanning's could become an extension of our country clubs just an idea?

We have been to Lanning’s many times throughout the years. Last night was the first since the new owners. It was above and beyond as it always has been. Three of us in our family have March birthdays and we were each given a complimentary dessert. The best cheesecake ever served in a restaurant!
I only order steak at Lanning’s. Phenomenal and cuts like butter! My husband had the aged bone in ribeye flambéed at the table!
We all had a delicious, top notch meal at this very classy restaurant that is one of a kind! We will continue to go back for special occasions.

We had my son’s graduation dinner there last weekend. The experience met and exceeded our every expectation. Live music in the lounge. Amazing service. Terrific food. Such a fun lovely place to truly celebrate special occasions. Bravo Lannings. I wish we had a restaurant similar to this in Tallahassee, FL. I would give you 10 stars.

Everything about this restaurant is amazing! The owner, the wait staff, the valets, etc. It was a 12yr anniversary for my husband and I, and we wanted it to be special, and Lannings definitely exceeded our expectations. We will definitely go again.

Wow just WOW! We are now familiar with both the "old" and new Lanning's and while we were apprehensive to visit the rebooted version, were were delighted and not disappointed. The service was wonderful as provided by Haley and Ezra...very attentive to our needs. All questions were answered, and Haley made recommendations with confidence. Fresh and warmed dinner roll assortment came first...delish. We splurged and got the lump crab cocktail...heavenly. I ordered the Lamb rack which was a generous portion (8 ribs) , prepared to perfection accompanied by an au jus and the traditional mint jelly (my fave). My guest and I shared the Lanning's salad and she ordered the scallops, again done to perfection and firm as requested. I also recommend an Old Fashioned if you like bourbon...generous glass "buckets". The live guitarist was great and played/sang many of the classics from earlier years. This was a special occasion, but we pledged to return again soon as it was a fantastic dining experience!

Great service and the food was delicious, especially the blue stone crab claws! Definitely will be back to try some of their famous aged steak! Oh and such a breathtaking ambiance.

Great Owner and local restaurant. One of the area’s finest; hands down. Hosts are very friendly; wait staff very professional; and the owners are top notch. Highly recommended for a great evening. From the wine and cocktail list to appetizers and main course; you can’t go wrong with any selections. And the Butter Cake dessert is off the chart!!! Thanks for everything Dean Martin! It was my Birthday and I was treated like a Queen! From cocktails to dessert, everything was delicious! Service was extra special! Everyone wished me a happy birthday! Entertainment was fabulous!

You made our anniversary special! The scalloped potatoes are excellent and the asparagus was perfect and tender! Loved the hand signed card and dessert was perfect! Dad always loved Lanning’s he was right! Thanks again
