One Eleven Bistro

After an afternoon of axe throwing at a local establishment, our friends invited us to One Eleven Bistro to end the evenings activities.

We had a reservation so we were sat quickly although the restaurant was fairly empty when we first arrived (around 5:30pm on a Saturday) this changed rather quickly and most tables were full by 6:15 or so.

From what our friends had told us, the menu and dishes rotate so most of the dishes they had been recommending on the drive over were no longer being offered.

We started with an order of French fries and wasabi mayo potstickers. Both were quite good and the entire table had no complaints about either dish.

While having a hard time deciding on a meal, I ultimately choose an order of tamales. Which was not a choice I had expected to make at a more upscale restaurant such as this.

Was pleasantly surprised but how well plated the dish was and how tasty it turned out. The flavors in the dish really complemented one another and it was an overall solid dish.

The rest of our group all enjoyed their various choices as well. No complaints from anyone on their food choice. There was a bit of plate sharing as people were sampling others' meals.

Overall, service was excellent, staff stopped by frequently to top off water, check on the table, and take away dishes quickly.

Not a location I would visit frequently but one more for special occasions or celebrations I think. Pricing was decent but it was on the slightly higher side all things considered.

Everything about this place was nice. The service was great, the atmosphere was elegant and clean. The food was good. They have items on the menu that's different and that will expand your palate. This is not your typical high end restaurant, they take time and thought into their recipes and uses the seasons to guide them.

Popped in to meet some friends this week. Had the tomato bisque, the 111 Fries and a Moscow mule. Forgot to take pics of food and drink but it was amazing, as always! ❤ I love 111 Bistro. The service... The atmosphere... The food... 10/10!

I’ve been here on several occasions and it has always been a great experience. Looking forward to my next visit!

We had a lovely evening at One Eleven. We ate at the bar and Anthony (I think was his name) was wonderful to us. Always checked on us even when the bar got busy. The food was delicious!!! We had the ahi tuna appetizer, chicken and waffles, seafood Newberg, agnolotti, and the truffles for dessert. Presentation was beautiful on everything. They also have a fantastic bourbon selection.

Great food, drinks, and staff, what more can you ask for. My wife and I have eaten here several times and while the menu changes, the food is always good. Tonight we sat at the bar, had drinks, a burger and the Friday fish fry. The portions are perfect and at good price point. The servers are fun and the atmosphere is open and fun as well. Great place for a date night or a group of friends. Enjoy

Wonderful food. Wonderful cocktails. Great service. Very accommodating. Great variety of choices. I adore the steak pasta, the popcorn shrimp, the seafood Newberg, the burger. So hard to choose from the dessert options. Have the pear martini.

Update: some items on the menu change seasonally. The early September 2022 visit has me saying "try the spoon bread and the salmon!"

First time in and we had amazing food, outstanding drinks, and incredible service! So glad we found this gem; we will definitely be back!

Always fantastic! Server Jessica was knowledgeable and friendly. Bartender made a terrific white Negroni. Dinner was perfect, the short rib stew cooked to perfection. Definitely a chef’s delight; the plating, flavors, seasoning - on point.

Walked in off the street like some lost puppies and got seated immediately. We passed a lot of tables with “reserved” on them. Chance is a great waiter, very attentive, truthful and funny. Ordered the chicken parm. It was fork tender and melt in your mouth delicious. Got some waffles and cheesecake for dessert, wild and funky favors.

Absolutely amazing meal and friendly staff. We started with the 111 Fries which were hands down the best fries I've ever eaten. Then we split an order of the Tomato Parmesan Risotto just to try it, WOW!

My wife ordered the Steak Pasta, the hanger steak was tender, the pasta cooked perfectly, the sauce amazing. I ordered the Seafood Newberg Pasta, the parsley fettuccine was delicious, the seafood cooked perfectly, and the sauce was creamy and complimented the food perfectly.

Absolutely amazing meal. We will 100% be coming back to try more of the menu soon.

I travel on a weekly basis and as such am always out at restaurants. When I tell you this place is a must, I mean it. Seriously incredible from top to bottom. Anthony is a true professional and more than willing to guide you on tasting experience that fits your desires.
My focus is always food quality, and these seasonal menus are thought out, tested and 10/10. If you are a foodie and in the area, it would be a mistake for you sample a meal anywhere else.
If you’re a cocktail person, this place makes better Old Fashions than some of the fanciest rooftop bars in Manhattan. It may sound like hyperbole, but I guess you’ll just have to try it for yourself…

Fantastic locally owned and independent restaurant. Chef Anthony prepares an ever changing seasonal menu with several regular and standard house favorites. Bartender Anthony, prepares great bourbon cocktails with twists on the classics along with all the standards. Rotating craft beer selection and excellent selection of moderate and interesting wines.

This is a top notch restaurant! The food and wines are delicious and fairly priced, and the service is excellent. My wife and I have been dining here for a few years now, and have never been disappointed with anything. Our per person price may be on the higher side, but the wine selection is delicious, and it’s worth spending for one of their better choices.

Very quaint and romantic spot for dinner. The food was very good and not your usual fare. A change of pace, gourmet in fact.

A friend and former colleague made arrangements for a reunion of about 30 pp. The banquet room is really well-suited for parties. It is set apart from, but visually connected to the public space. Acoustics allowed for quiet conversation. The guests were treated to a fresh green salad dressed with seasoned evoo and a two-entree buffet accompanied by purple fingerlings and haricots. Seriously folks, the velvety chicken dish enlivened with red grapes was life-changing! Service was cordial and efficient even though our group required separate checks. Great job all around!

One of the best restaurants in the Akron area. Everything we have ordered has been spectacular.

Always fresh and delicious! The ever changing seasonal menu never disappoints. The pork shank was fabulous and incredibly filling. The calamari appetizer was seasoned to perfection with a subtle dipping sauce that complemented the seasoned flavors. The cheesecake was light, flavorful, and a good way to end the meal. Our server was very attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable. The atmosphere is modern and fits the current trendy barnwood industrial aesthetic. It's a very pleasant place to dine.
