Russ has honored both of my parents, mom being just last week. He is kind, honest, and compassionate. He made an extremely difficult time easier to manage and his services always feel personal. My family is extremely grateful for his attention to detail and professionalism.

We held my fathers services here and Russ was amazing. He helped us to get through one of the hardest times of our lives. He made everything so smooth was very accommodating and helped us make it possible to lay my dad to rest. He treated us like family and also reminded us a lot of our dad. I recommend them to anyone and everyone they are amazing!

I remember Russ Eckard returning our phone call over the weekend and telling us that he was in Mexico and would do everything to help us for our Mom, Mary Tahir.

He was very good at communicating with us on updates about hospital release, care at his funeral home, filling out the death certificate Sunday for completion with the doctor, and the burial scheduling.

We were early at the cemetery Tuesday morning, but he was there before us. We met him at the site. In the beginning, he said a tribute to Mom Mary. He also helped with the needs of the people attending the ceremony.

Laura and I can say that we are thankful to Russ Eckerd for making that difficult time less difficult for us. Once again, thank you, Russ.

I am highly satisfied with how the staff at Eckard Baldwin handled the services for my late Young brother!! Very friendly and professional. Even though I went to Russell Eckard and express to him my financial burden he made me feel like everything would be just fine, and it was. Russell Eckard and his team took care of all of the details that helped us make the celebration of our father's life wonderful. We were pleasantly surprised to find a beautiful framed drawing of our father (a sketch of the picture used for his obituary) on display when we arrived for the service. This is the best place to spend the worst day of your life. I have used Eckard Baldwin for both of my parents. The first time I was with my father while he prepared for my mother's funeral. The second time I was solo, preparing for my father's funeral. Death of a loved one isn't easy. Planning for it alone is daunting and overwhelming. However, Russ Eckard, Stephanie, Greg, and Roger, make you feel like family. They all go above and beyond to make sure that every detail is just perfect. They think of all the things that you don't have time to think about. Both my parent's funerals were perfect. Not one detail out of place. My more recent father's service exceeded my expectations. I would not have been able to get through this most difficult time, if it wasn't for the caring compassionate staff and ownership of Eckard Baldwin Funeral Home.
