I come here at least 5 times a year but I live 2 hours away. This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. Always great service, friendly staff, great food. The seating is mostly benches and the tables are a great big wonderful size,6 people per booth could fit which is pretty impressive. If you're in town for hot springs, go here after you soak, it's the best food for post relationship.

Absolutely excellent food!! I had the veggie burrito, I always keep the bar low on that but was shocked by the 8 different veggies inside it!! It was delicious. My husband had 7 Mares a seafood soup, that is definitely a meal, it filled him up and we had just finished hiking La Plata and we were hungry.

Amazing staff, food delicious, came out so quickly we were all surprised.

We are ruined for all other Mexican food now. The salsa is incredible and mole was amazing. My other half had a green chile smothered burrito and it was gone so fast I barely saw it. Highly recommend.

The salsa with the chips is delicious, specially the salsa verde! We had the mole enchiladas, both of our favorite, and the mundo with tripe. It was very flavorful.

The Barria tacos were surprisingly spicy. However, the food was very fresh and delicious!

Tip: if you want large margaritas, this is the place to come!

We've eaten at this restaurant on a couple of occasions, and the food is always delicious. Everything tastes fresh, home made and the portions are huge! This is a perfect place to visit after a long day of hiking, mountain biking or whatever physical activity you enjoy. So good, I highly recommend!! Love supporting local businesses.

Food was delicious, their salsa served with warm chips was a great way to start. I ordered the sizzling fajitas and it was better than average. Also got the fried ice cream which was a great way to end the meal.

Traveling around Colorado we went through Buena Vista, and found Casa Sanchez 3, food was amazing!! Service was outstanding! Everyone was friendly and professional! Will go back the next time we are in the area! Thanks very much!!

Everyone is so friendly, and the salsa is delicious. We have come 2x now in a week because we knew we would leave full and happy. Everything tastes fresh.
The place is cutesy decorated and welcoming. A little on the mix it up side, but I like it.
The first night, we ordered queso, fajitas for 2, and kids taco....to say the least we left with 4 to go boxes. It was so much food, and so good.
Tonight, we ordered fajitas for 1 and the mushroom appetizer. I am still afraid we will have leftovers. No problem with that!
The green salsa is so fresh and delicious. The mushroom appetizer would have benefited from more avocado slices. The avocado slices were not quite ripe yet, so a little hard, but that is my only complaint. The fajitas have great flavor and are sliced thin so making it easy to eat. They do not skimp on the meat, and I am very grateful for that. Definitely recommend and will come again.

Absolutely amazing food. This was our first time here, as we live in Texas and we're camping about 30 miles away. The Chile rellenos are a must have ...

I can't speak for the quality of the food throughout the whole menu, but from what I ordered, it was great! (Carnita tacos). I was born and raised in Texas, and I'm telling y'all it is hard to find good quality mexican food outside of my state. This place would do well in Texas.

Friendly and attentive waiters, best Mexican food I’ve had in colorado! I got the flautas with a side of rice, it was delicious. My friends had the fajitas and loved it. The mango margs were good too!! Will definitely stop here if I’m in town again.

This was a good experience all the way around at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 14. The restaurant just opened so we had no wait and were promptly seated at a booth table. The service was good and by noon the restaurant became very busy. The chicken burrito, pork burrito, and shredded beef chimichanga were all good. The chimi was the best ever in terms of being perfectly and lightly fried (not overdone). My favorite was the pork burrito with the green chile & melted cheese topping. A combo platter with two items plus rice & beans was $10.99. I wish the beans were refried, but that is just my preference. They have a daily lunch special for $6.99 that would be a really good value. They served chips and salsa when we were seated; these weren't my favorite (chips a little thick, salsa a bit oniony) but it's still nice to have the munchies right when seated.

Food is the best and only one I will eat at in Buena Vista. Your food comes out fast and hot! Margaritas are really good and many to choose from I prefer the frozen Mango or Stawberry or a mix of both. Yes I have eaten both Mexican restaurants. It's very clean, and staff is very friendly and they remember when you return. Many happy repeat customers. I will be back.

The food was really good. Definitely leave room for some sopapilla. The staff were very courteous and attentive. They were accommodating with some substitutions, and I am thankful for their flexibility.

Splendid. Think I might like this one better than the one in fairplay. Only because the relleno was twice the size and less “gravy”. Salsa was dark roasted, great consistency and very good. Same for the queso. Lots of veggies in there.
