Doctor Creek Campground

We drove up here to see the annular solar eclipse, and it was marvelous. There were cows free roaming and the view was amazing.

Clean conveniently located for us. Great camp hosts.

Great group campsite.

Best place in the world

Doctor Creek could have easily have gotten 5 stars as it was quiet (albeit after our neighbor left it was quieter since he ran his generator 16 hours a day). Our spot was not level and the entrance in had a huge hump that made our truck bed contact the underside of the fifth wheel. Some of the spots looked small but the camp host said they were refurbishing Doctor Creek in 2023 so things might be a lot different.

Nice campground at Fish Lake. Camped here late September 2020. One flush toilet located near the entrance (if your up at the far end you have a few minute walk). Campsites are open, under aspens, there is little privacy. The sites are generally level, some better than others. There is a host. A downside, it is near a road.

One of the most beautiful National Forest campgrounds anywhere, love the aspens!
The only negative is terrible maintenance including simple bathroom maintenance with filthy restrooms with no toilet paper.
