Union An American Bistro

The portions of food are great, the side of macaroni is huge! My drink actually had a decent amount of alcohol in it unlike every other restaurant I've been to. I went in the afternoon and the music wasn't loud so I could actually unwind with my partner before his work and the service was excellent. This is my new favorite place for nice occasions out. I hardly even like most salads because I'm extremely picky and it was amazing.

In my 50 years of existence and tasting and eating different calamari…………. Union An American Bistro’s calamari was an exceptional. It was a bomb! Never tasted a calamari that good, it was so juicy compared to the norm or traditional way of cooking it dried. And it’s not just the calamari, it’s just for the starter! The three dishes that they recommend and served us was uniquely good.

We just had such a great experience. We showed up right at opening with 13 people. They got us sat up quickly. Claudia was the best server and she handled our group amazingly! The food was amazing with lots of choices and also lots of fun flavors.

we've been meaning to come here for awhile, and we're not disappointed! the bartender was really busy when we sat at the bar on a Saturday, maybe next time less bar backs and another actual bartender. butttt the gluten free buns were amazing! and the fries are gluten free too so I was happy

We just enjoyed a great Happy Hour at Union in Castle Rock! Our server Brandon was wonderful… he offered great suggestions, our drinks were replenished often, food came quickly, and we didn’t feel rushed at all. The Happy Hour food is definitely worth exploring as you enjoy the drink specials. Next time I’m in Castle Rock (on my way from Denver to the Springs), we’ll be back to Union! Thanks guys!

Great place. The menu changes, so each time you go you know you’ll get something great and new. Ask for Tasha to be your server, she’s the bomb. One of my favorite places in all of Denver!

As lucky as you can get during Restaurant Week, we were seated by the owner Kim and really lucked out with our server Sam. Kim was so gracious as she told us about how we could order. When Sam came to take our order she helped us select the right delicious dishes for our dinner.
The restaurant itself is modernized Old City Castlerock and is really cool. It has been serving up awesome dishes for 19 years. The Denver Restaurant Week menu is fantastic with your choice of 3 appetizers, 4 main course delights and last but NOT least 5 dessert choices. When it’s not restaurant week the menu selections multiply not to mention the beverages, for instance they offer you a choice of many different vodka, gin and rum drinks not to mention wine and beer and nonalcoholic selections to choose from. Simply put, The Union has everything you would want to feast on and the portions and service will be everything you could possibly hope for.
Next time you’re looking for a fantastic dining experience come to The UNION Bistro, you’ll be glad you did.

Awesome place with many options. Super friendly staff and fun atmosphere of locals and travelers. Excellent service and attentiveness to our tastes. Saturday is half-priced Martinis made our visit very affordable.
Excellent desserts. Broad choice on the menus. Many gluten free options. One of us has gluten allergy. We’ll be back again. Enjoy!

Food was delicious and quick, loved all of the Happy Hour options for food and our server Brandon was so friendly, helpful, and accurate. Give Brandon some praise!! Wonderful lunch.

Great experience here, stopped by on a whim on a Saturday at that and they had a long wait, spoke to "someone" and they were able to get us sat outside (it was nice) for drinks and apps right away! The apps and drinks were great and the outside seating was nice as well. The indoor vibe looks cool, so I'd def. like to check that out some time as well! ALSO, their HAPPY HOUR specials on drinks and food are AWESOME!

It was our first visit to Union Bistro. They have a fantastic outdoor covered patio, which was very comfortable and welcoming.

We ordered a variety of items, from appetizers to entrees, desserts and we weren't disappointed! The beef brisket nachos were excellent, along with the Duck & Noodles. The duck was tender and well seasoned, while the homemade noodles soaked up the fantastic sauce. We enjoyed a few different deserts, which were all outstanding!

The service was excellent and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for casual dining with exceptional food!

WOW!! Oh wow!! This place is incredible - drinks, food, staff, atmosphere - the whole 9! Waitress was sweet as pie and very helpful with the drink selection. The interior is beautiful, love the feel! We didn't have to wait for a table. The whole place was very clean! Definitely coming back to try more of their signature martinis and delectable dishes! *Highly* recommend 👌

I've been here for lunch a few times and now dinner. The service was great, clearly a team effort in a locally owned business. We had a great time, ordered Martinis as suggested by the public and they were fantastic! The salmon and tenderloin was on point.

Everything was delicious and our server Brandon was above and beyond, so polite and attentive, and made us feel very welcome. We’ll likely be back for Martini Saturday!

I had dinner here recently. Steak cooked to perfection. You can order it to be cooked just the way you like it.
Twice baked potato & asparagus with a house salad. This meal was pricey, but I don’t mind paying extra if the food is good, and it was!
I’ve been here for drinks & appetizers as well 👍. Can’t wait to try the mussels.

Nice atmosphere for happy hour. Tastey appetizers & fun martini options. Happy hour goes to 6:00, which is nice. Dinner is fabulous. Love the salmon salad! So fresh perfectly cooked fish. A favorite spot to meet friends. Easy parking in the free city ramp across the street.

You'd never expect this place to have an amazing menu! If it was possible to make love to food, The Chop would be it, along with their crème brûlée. The Chop is a double pork chop with apple chutney, and mashed potatoes. It's extremely tender, succulent, and EXTREMELY delicious. I finished the entire thing and also had their crème brûlée which was also so delicious. Our server was Savanah and she was awesome and very friendly! My husband had the beef tenderloin and we paired our meal with a delicious wine from Palisade. Union adds on a 3% fee for their kitchen staff, because like a home, they recognize their kitchen staff is the heart of their restaurant. Definitely recommend coming here and will be coming back.

Love this place. We've been coming here for 9 years and love it every time. The food coming out of this kitchen is awesome. The beef tenderloin that I had was perfectly prepared and the mashed potatoes and gravy were perfect as well. My wife loved her blackened Mahi sandwich and the cheesecake was great. The best part of our most recent evening here was our server, Tasha. She made the evening extra special with her great personality and her attention to detail. She is a wonderful waitress and we really appreciate all she did for us, as well as her awesome sense of humor. It was great seeing Chuck again too. He was our first waiter here 9 years ago. There are a lot of really good newer restaurants in Castle Rock but this is by far our favorite.

This is one of the places we try to go to whenever we visit family/friends in COS. Great beer, and the food is very thoughtful, innovative, and different, so you never get bored. Great tastes from appetizers through desserts, and the service is very good, especially in this day and age where I believe overall service has tanked. You gotta try it!

I could notice the efforts of the kitchen with many tries, and it makes every single dish unique I believe.
