I went to go have some balloons inflated for my daughter's 2nd birthday on 12/9. Unfortunately there was no one in floral, but the manager did not want to simply send me away. Instead, he asked another associate to teach him how to use the helium. He took time away from his own duties because he wanted to help me make my kid's birthday special. Even did a few of the foil balloons I brought in with her favorite movie character! I really appreciate it! I wish I could remember the name of the manager, because he deserves to be recognized for his hard work and customer service.

When my local Castle Rock Safeway said they were too busy to cut my meat I order for Christmas and every big holiday (well ahead of time) for the last 13 years, the Elizabeth location valued me as a customer enough to take a few minutes to do it for me. I'll be doing my holiday shopping here from now on!

Waited quite a bit for coffee as there was only one barista. She was still friendly and kind to each guest and did not rush them, I did not catch her name though. It was also awesome to see store management jump in and handle the order taking when the line got over 10 people or so. Great teamwork! As a retail worker, I love to see it.

Was very clean and well stocked.. associates were very polite and welcoming.. will definitely return for future shopping in Elizabeth..

If I'm being honest, all of these locations seem the same to me. We've been coming to this one all my life and I swear it hasn't changed at all over the years. The only thing I dislike about this Safeway, is that the bathroom smells atrocious. Otherwise, great grocery store!

During the pandemic this has been my closest, and thus my most regular, grocery shopping location. I like to head over early in the morning when they are restocking so I can grab everything before it gets more busy in the afternoon/evening.

Overall its a nice store. They keep it clean (though someone might want to fix the restroom by the Starbucks, the toilet isnt securely fastened to the floor it seems), the staff is friendly and quick to help you locate any items you've missed. They also have some regular specials that help you save a few bucks during the holidays/events.

As far as the food goes. Safeway has far fresher produce than Walmart just down the street. Their fruit looks like it just popped off the truck that morning, and if anything starts going off, they are quick to check/remove it so you don't end up with sad looking apples in your basket.

Ive also been very pleased with how well they've been about taking care of customers and staff during the pandemic. They keep everything sanitized. They encourage everyone to keep their masks on. Its been lovely and removes a world of concern when you're out and about running errands.

Top notch. Ive had zero complaints.

Bobi at the Elizabeth Salon has been my stylist for over 10 years! She is the best! She is knowledgeable, personable, and one I can rely on and trust. She does my color, my haircuts and gives me suggestions. I can't say enough nice things about her!

The Safeway in Elizabeth is my favorite grocery store. There are other grocery stores to choose from, but our local Safeway is fairly clean, the service is good, and the digital app helps me save money.

A HUGE thumbs up to Safeway’s Pharmacy manager, Bri! Went up and beyond to reaching out to my GP, to get me the medication I could afford!! Thank you, Bri!

I need to remember that 5 pm on Sunday is a good time to shop. It was quiet even though 2 of the sale items were not available. 15 minutes and 5 bags of groceries more than made up for $4.00 of savings!

Clean , well stocked, employees are knowledgeable and helpful. The store Manager is awesome and ready to help in any way he can.

Great staff that is very helpful, happy, and caring. They go above and beyond your standard stores. And well groceries are groceries. Only complaint is Safeway needs to improve on the app and your just for you including items the store actually carries. I will say though they are quick to accommodate deals when the product's not carried or even out of stock!

I have always had great experiences at Safeway. Today Tommy the head clerk helped me to locate a product that I couldn't find. He even took me to the location where the product was located. Lori the flower lady was very friendly and went over and above to give me twine to tie up my flowers. She was very attentive and knowledgeable and gave me answers to all of my questions. She is a tremendous asset your the team. Definitely a five star experience.

Safeway is my family's grocery store when we need to buy either food or fuel. The store is always clean and well stocked. The employees here are friendly, helpful, respectful, they are real people with the best customer service, and most of all honest. A couple of days ago my son and I went shopping as usual. While in the store I put my wallet in the basket until we went ahead and check out, then we left the store. And because I work long hours I did not have the need to buy anything for two days, then I realize my wallet was missibg, after two days, called the store and described my wallet to Adam, an employee there. After a couple of minutes he came back and said "we have your wallet it has been here for two days". Then Kaitlyin, the night manager alone with Adam, gave me back my whole life.
I praise honesty, Safeway and their employees showed me there's still good people out there.

Friendly staff, if you're a prepper or just starting to budget, watch for the good sales and stock up

Safeway Elizabeth is a great store! It is never very crowded and it is rare that they are out of the items that I need! I love shopping here, too, because all the staff is very friendly and helpful! I will always come back here! 5/5 stars!
