The low pressure, straightforward, and client focused experience was like buying a car from a trusted friend who knows the car buying process and is keenly sensitive toward meeting your desires for the right car. I’ve have bought two vehicles from South Sound Motorsports so far. They were recommended by a few other businesses in the area. I told Drake (the owner) that I needed to find a vehicle for a family member in need.
I communicated exactly what I was looking but that I wasn’t sure how to make it happen. All my questions and concerns were quickly addressed. Even after buying an “as is”vehicle. It was the easiest and least stressful car buying process I’ve ever had. You can tell they actually care about the customer and that’s rare to find these days. Highly recommended!

I went to South Sound Motorsports to get my mom a vehicle after she unfortunately totaled hers. Drake was the salesman who helped us, He was so patient and thorough with answering all of our questions and explaining the entire car buying process with us. It’s always nerve racking buying a used vehicle because you never know what may be wrong with it but Drake was very up front about all of the vehicles they had on the lot. Soon after our daughter moved to Tacoma, her car broke down. We were lucky that we found a car at South Sound Motorsports because Drake was very helpful. He was great to work with and made us feel comfortable that he would take good care of her throughout the process. AND, not only did he take care of her during the sale, but, even after the sale, when she returned to get her license plates. She locked her keys in the car and Drake went above and beyond in going to another business to get the tools necessary to unlock her car for her. Thank you Drake for taking care of our daughter and putting her in a safe car that she loves!

I had a great experience with the owner. My dad went with me to aid in advice and see how the business was. We met with the owner, Drake. I was in love with the car before I even saw it in person, and I fell in love even more when I saw it in person. The amazing part was that they got the brakes, battery, and windshield replaced all within the given price in their ad. Additionally, Drake’s honesty stood out compared to others. In regards to the bad reviews I’ve seen on Google, I believe most of it stemmed from bad experiences or the owner not wanting to budge on his prices. He prices his vehicles very well and makes sure they are safe to drive. You can also look at this dealership on CarGurus where they have much more recent reviews, more often. I’m very happy with my car!

I totaled my Ford Fusion needed a car fast to prevent from losing my job my credit wasn’t the greatest but with the help of the awesome guys at southsound motor sports I got myself a great running little accent after about a week I had an issue with my fuel pump going out and without any problems and sold as is even they said if I had it towed in they would have their mechanic look at it and fix the issue .so I did and they replaced my fuel pump at no cost other then the tow .they didn’t have to do anything since I bought it as is .That almost never happens .They are great owners take pride in their work and appreciate their customers . Going in to this purchase we had an issue with the sound system, neither Drake nor myself had any idea that this issue would be so pricey and complicated. Drake, the owner of South Sound Motorsports, went way above the call of duty and then some to resolve the issue. I thank him so much and I also know he has some very nice quality cars and trucks on his lot! Give him a try!

Even though the most recent review said the owner blew up, I too dealt with him and I honesty had a positive buying experience. I bought a truck off of him with trade in. He gave me what I wanted for trade, and had no issues negotiating price. He answered all my questions truthfully. I used an outside bank to finance which took a few days to process and he held the truck for me with no deposit.

Went their and left their with in 30 minutes with my brand new family van....I took it to the mountains and back right away and it works perfect.... this Thang is a beautiful. I'm really happy with drake and the car he sold me....

Got a great deal on daughter's dream car and the owners went out of their way to make sure we knew everything about the car. It was clean and detailed when we picked it up. A special experience for a first time owner.

Honest, knowledgeable, and seamless... not the way I would traditionally describe a car buying experience, however this is exactly how I would describe the experience at South Sound Motorsports. Drake truly cares about making sure the car is right for the customer above all else.
