Mike’s Mac & Sanny Shack

My wife and I were really wanting to experience a food truck, so when we went to Arcadia Beach and came back through Tillamook we just had to stop at Mike's Mac and Shanny Shack. We had looked him up prior to coming and saw that the reviews were stellar!! And they were not kidding!! Kala and I both had the Chicken Caesar Sandwich and she had the Mac n cheese and I had the bacon Mac n cheese.
The chicken in the sandwich just fell apart, in an amazing way,and was so juicy!!! The sauce was savory and the lettuce was delicious and crisp!!! The bread was grilled nicely and had just the right amount of butter spread on it. Oh, don't get me started on the Mac n cheese! The bacon was cooked to the perfect crisp, and the noodles he uses was phenomenal! It was so cheesy and delicious!! The cheese stretch as you picked up every bite to eat! Oh, and the hot honey sauce was savory and gave the Mac and cheese and amazing kick!!
The guy was really friendly and polite!

I just had their chicken Cesar sandwich and it was really good. The dressing was great and flavor and had a nice creamy texture. The chicken was flavorful in itself and cooked really well. The bread was so fresh and amazing. Toasted perfectly and not soggy at all. I got a side of Mac and it was really good. Super flavorful with a really nice texture. I'd reccomend them to anyone!

The sandwiches here are amazing! Coming from Chicago, I’ve found it oddly difficult to find a good hot Italian sandwich and the one they do is SO GOOD! I actually bought seven of them to cater a DnD party and everyone loved them. Their other sandwiches are just as delicious, but fair warning, grab napkins because they get messy from how much they fill them!

Crazy good sandwiches on amazing homemade bread! Super fresh, handmade and wonderful ingredients! The crunch of the sourdough is what dreams are made of for all you bread lovers! I had the Buffalo chicken and some handmade potato chips and the chicken had been roasted and shredded by them, nice big chunks but good ratios of slaw, blue cheese crumbles and dressing. Would highly recommend and will definitely be coming back for more.

Had a turkey pesto from this fantastic place today. Every bite was a perfect blend of flavor between some of the best homemade bread I’ve had in a while. The chips were a perfect match great crunch and not overly salty. 10/10 if you are in the area I recommend stopping by this little gem and having mike make you something to write home about!

Excellent sandwich. Reasonably priced for its quality. Fast, friendly, and made fresh.
I am adamant about French dip sandwiches. And this is one to be reckoned with. The au jus is just the right strength, not too strong and not too watery. The beef is thick, juicy and delicious. That being said the part that perfects this sandwich is the homemade baguette. It has just the right consistency to be soft enough to soak up the au jus nicely, while being firm enough to hold the thickly sliced beef and the sandwich as a whole. Served with some quality crisp chips. This is easily the best French dip I’ve had yet! Thanks mike 👍

The Brie and Berry grilled sandwich is SO delicious, as is the bacon Mac n cheese!! Highly recommend!

Came out on a rainy day and picked up two sandwiches, the Hot Italian and Club. These were some of the most delicious sandwiches and one of the best Clubs I've ever had too.

I didnt get a photo in time, but that just means I'll have to come back and order more.

Mike is super friendly. His Mac N Cheese is really good, and the generous helping is perfect for 2 people. Next time, I'm going to try the veggie sammy.

Got an Italian beef cause I'm from Chicago and why not. It's a different style with the beef not thinly sliced. It's more of a homemade/home style Italian beef and damn good. Only thing that would put it over the top would be some proper giardinara hot peppers, but what are you gonna do over 2,000 miles from the source?

I had the Hot Italian sandwich with Dungeness Crab Mac, absolutely amazing! The staff was pleasant and the food was fabulous- home cooked bread and quality ingredients. Loved it, you will too 😄

Whoever said this mac n cheese wasnt cheesy or creamy...yall need to check your sources 😉 granted its not really macaroni but this version of a bechamel sauce covers the pasta just like it should. Now..lets go have a bite of this sanny.. 😁

Beyond good -11 out of 10! Even the potato chips were special. Grilled ham & Tillamook sharp cheddar cheese on home made bread. Awesome Club sandwich. Excellent Bacon Mac & Cheese. Plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your food immediately. Highly recommend Mike's.

Good Buffalo chicken and chicken Ceasars sandwiches.

Great fresh ingredient sandwiches and original unique Mac and cheese recipes. Someone who takes pride in their food and making customers happy by making great food. If you pass through the area make sure to check it out. there are lots of other food carts with great options, so either way it's a win win situation for the customers

I ordered a french dip with cheddar cheese. I was delicious!! Their homemade chips are so good. The price was a little high $15 for a sandwich and chips.

My mom said it was the best sandwich she ever had. She is not an easy critic. She got the vegetarian. The house made chips are just too good too. Damn!
