delicious bakery. we ordered almost 100 usd worth of baked items and didn’t regret any of it. will come back here again! we ordered a few chocolate / plain croissants, apple turnovers, matcha log , chocolate cake.

Found out in the evening that I needed to get a cake for someone’s birthday the next day, and I wanted to do better than a grocery store cake. My usual go-tos were closed by then, but I recalled this Korean bakery at the entrance of Don Quijote stayed open quite late.

There were quite a few to choose from, ranging from what looked to be a decadent chocolate cake that could serve 4-6 people, to smaller ones in vanilla and chocolate with colorful fresh fruit garnishing the top.

The gentleman who served me was quite friendly and happy to explain the cake and mousse flavors in each - finally settled on this super cute piggy cake primarily for the flavors: red velvet with a strawberry mousse filling and dusted with coconut. He noted that these cakes are not too sweet, per traditional Asian baking styles.

After boxing the cake, he also added candles and a plastic cake knife - a really nice touch. I’ll be coming back for future cake needs!

We love their pastry and you never know what you might get. She always have something made fresh that you just have to add. My kids love the The milk bread and I love their yuzu pastry. It’s melt in the mouth good with a light citrus cream.

i wanted to try the hot dog items but they’re pre-made and not heated. i thought a croissant would go better, and it did

The old lady looked into bag assuming i was stealing as i had ovwr $40 of purchases on the counter. Tbis was back in april 2022. Have not shop there since. Rude koreans. I been giving tjem at least $80 a week for many months until this. Bad customer servixe

Great new bakery on the block

My family picked up a snack for me here. Personally its my first time trying this bakery. I didn’t choose it myself, but I ended up with a pizza pastry and a flaky buttery pastry. Im sorry I don’t have the proper names but if i find out i will renew this post. The pizza pastry wasn’t to my liking. I don’t care for the hotdog pieces in there and I wished it was more savory tasting. The flaky buttery triangular shaped pastry (almond cream pastry?🤔) however was very good. Almond slivers on top. Nice buttery slightly sweet taste and had a nice bite factor to it. Soft, flaky with a bit of a chew. I would really like to try a whole lot of other offerings they have as well so stay tuned for more to come!

I passed this bakery multiple times already but today I intend to grab some of its goodies.

The pastries that I got are all so good.
- sweet potato mini cake
- cream horn
- chocolate cream horn
- blueberry turnover
- yuzu pie

I will definitely come back in here. Their pastries are so perfectly paired with hot teas or coffee. They made it really tasty & will recommend to try them out when you are in Oahu.

Pricey for me but selection was good. Bought 14 individually wrapped items for an office as thank you. Cost almost $50. Wish @LilihaBakery"s #cocopuffs come individually wrapped too!

I love their Sesame Ball!

생일 케익은 맛있어요. ㅎ 하지만 생일 케익 예약 했는데 초 5개 1달러 추가 비용 받아요. 생일 케익에 초가 셋트가 아닌것은 생소 하네요. 역시 미국 ㅎ

The woman attending is rude. Cold products. She doesn’t warm up the food because she is closing in 3 hours. Wao.

While the cake looked tasty, it was far from it. The cake was sour and it was clearly spoiled. After attempting to return the cake and brining back a few slices for the shop to taste, the older ANGRY KOREAN WOMAN refused to hear anything that we had to say. She kept slamming her hands on the glass counter and acted out a classic scene from a K-Drama - with so much theatrics, yelling and condescending remarks . I have never experienced such poor customer service before.

Do not waste your time here.

We bought a cake from here today for a birthday. Upon serving the cake, several people were mentioning that the case tasted spoiled. I tried the cake and immediately tasted stale, slimy fruit. I returned to the bakery with 1/4 of the cake so they could see and/or taste it. I proceeded to explain to the older lady (mother of the owner) that I had just purchased the cake a couple hours earlier and that while at the birthday party we discovered that the cake and fruit was spoiled. The lady began to slam the counter with both her hands and said that it was impossible for it to be spoiled. She said that she made several cakes that morning and none of them were spoiled. I asked her if she tasted the cake and she replied it’s impossible to taste the cake before she sold it, so I said exactly! You didn’t taste the cake so how can you say for certain that it’s not spoiled? She then proceeded to ask why we didn’t return the whole cake? I explained to her that the cake was cut up and served to several guests, once they complained of it tasting spoiled, I tried it and confirmed it was spoiled. I then brought back the remainder of the cake for them to try themselves. The lady refused to try the cake or even look at it. She stated that she’s been in business for a long time and no one’s ever complained of the cake being spoiled. I then asked her if she was accusing me of lying and she said that it’s impossible for the cake to be spoiled. I was extremely disappointed with her refusal to accept the fact that there was a possibility that the cake could be spoiled. Her customer service skill was completely non existent. She basically said that she doesn’t care if we never return or if we left a bad review.
For a bakery to be so arrogant to think that there was no possible way that one of their item was spoiled is completely mind boggling. I would’ve been ok with just an apology or store credit, but the lady’s attitude was pretty much “Too Bad”.
I will never ever visit this bakery again and will tell all my friends and family to stay away unless you want to deal with an angry Korean lady with ZERO customer service skills.

For a $3.44 pastry I was charged $3.90. I didn’t realize Hawaii has a 13 percent sales tax!
