Patrick and Emmy are awesome! Our waitress, Maddie was very sweet. Celebrated a birthday brunch and supported our local cafe. These guys are so welcoming and delightful. Best food around. I even got a candle in my pancakes! Love the atmosphere. Such a pleasure.

The best brunch we had in Honolulu. You must come and be ready for a feast of flavors and delicious dishes.

Samantha, Patrick and Emmy made the whole experience incredible and memorable. We will definitely come back again with friends and family.

When you are lucky enough that work takes to Hawaii, and you have been dying to come here. It did not disappoint!!! We came later than planned so we missed the dumpling. The service was amazing and the food off the hook. We had the corn flake French toast and the Chicky eggs. We were members of the clean plate club.
The sizes were huge.

The food is so good at Koko Head cafe. We went here for brunch on a Tuesday and didn't need to worry about booking a table, we were seated straight away. We started by sharing a Mango bruschetta, this was on a Japanese sweet vanilla rusk, with a macadamia honey yoghurt, lime compote, topped with pieces of mango, absolutely delicious. My choice was the Cornflake French toast with billionaire bacon, I was tossing up whether to get this after the sweet starter, but it was so good. A thick slice of French toast covered in cornflake crumbs, topped with billionaires bacon (candied bacon) and a scoop of ice cream, sitting in a sweet creamy black pepper maple. This was also delicious, and would get again (but maybe not with a sweet starter again). My partner chose the Volcano eggs dish, with hash browns. This had baked eggs in a marinara sauce, cheddar and vegetables on a hash brown, which she thought was superb. Would definitely go back here again. Highly recommended!!!

It’s like a hidden spot for breakfast. There is a little waiting time when you get there but definitely worth the wait. I went there revenge on my trip to Hawaii and this was one of the best breakfast places I went to. Definitely recommend it to everyone. They have indoor and outdoor seating available and the service is amazing. Their fruit platter was the highlight of my breakfast.

Came here in a 4 person group at noon on a weekday. There is (coin-operated) metered parking and paid parking lot nearby but we just parked in front of a meter without paying... We only had to wait 10 minutes before we could get a booth.

The servers were all super friendly and amiable, and we had good conversation with our server. We ordered a matcha cream bun and guava cinnamon roll which were part of their limited holiday bake sale menu, and the former was super delicious (the latter was alright at best).

The other food we ate were all really yummy and well portioned. I wanna explore more of their menu.

Phenomenal. The menu has a lot of Asian fusion breakfast foods which might be my new favorite genre of food. Staff was over the top friendly. The wait to get in was pretty long (Saturday late morning) but you can check in online! We will be back! Get the pickle plate!

The menu is so unique here, I really like the sound of everything. We ordered the ramen and the chicken and rice, both were stand out and delicious. The garlic crispy rice is fantastic and the ramen is rich and lovely. We also ordered the kimchi scone which I also really really liked it came with a creme fraiche that complimented it perfectly. Coffee was also good and service was friendly.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at KHC this morning. We sat at the bar and our service from everyone was excellent. You can tell it's a homey, comfortable space - lots of locals hi-fiving the staff and a really fun tradition of the kitchen celebrating cash tips (if you're into that). Parking wasn't awful, but we did go at a slightly weird time (Monday at 11am). We parked on the street at a meter ($1.50/hr). There's a really good reason everyone talks about the French toast...

My partner has a fin fish allergy and the kitchen was extremely careful and cognizant of what he could/could not eat and in our experience, not all places would be so mindful. We had a comfortable, delicious meal here and given the opportunity would come back again and again.

Great food and service. Boozy brunch available inside but not on the patio. Excellent breakfast and lunch options, generous portions, friendly and attentive service. Went for my girlfriend’s birthday and it did not disappoint. Seems like the regular menu is a bit tighter than the specials. I got the congee and it was a bit different than I’m used to in terms of toppings but very high quality, super savory and filling. She got the chicken and eggs skillet and very much enjoyed it.

I could give it 10 stars if it was an option. This is by far the most delicious food I have had in my life. Everything we ordered was straight up amazing!
We tried the koko moko , volcano eggs and Japanese mango bruschetta. The mango bruschetta was a dish from the heavens !!

My favourite Brunch place in Hawai‘i by far! Love the Japanese influenced dishes and the creativity. The quality of everything was so good and the service exceptional.

Probably one of the best breakfast places I’ve ever been to. Staff are friendly and had great service. Juan was the best! Absolutely delicious biscuits paired with local honey butter and homemade preserves. I’m from the South and we know biscuits and these impressed. Cocktails were inventive and unique. The french toast was a unique dish and yummy. Overall great experience.

I ate the don buri Chen. It was fantastic. The miso pork sounded strange, and yet so good!!! We sat outside under the tent and it was nice. Weather was breezy. Used the Wait-list for the first time and it was a game changer! Recommend.

I really liked their take on French Toast floating while covered with bacon and ice cream. The food was delicious, though a breakfast item plus a coffee (plus tax, fee and tip) comes out close to $40 per person. Is it overpriced? Maybe, still worth to try the dishes once!

No wait when we went. The food was amazing. I got the poke omelette, but my partner’s meal was also delicious. Our server, Elizabeth, was very sweet and took her job so seriously.

Came with family for brunch and sat outside. Great service and food quality was on point. Note: outside service does not serve alcohol so if you want to drink booze has to be indoors.

Ordered Cappuccino and the Breakfast BiBimBap. The BiBimBap's crispy rice was cooked to perfection in it's mini cast iron skillet.

The pancakes were divine! The volcano eggs were a fun mix of flavors. Everything was fresh and hot. Loved it!

We're big fans of LeAnn Wong (my apologies for any misspellings) from watching her on Top Chef - we were so glad this eatery was still operating by the time we got to Hawaii.
Let me just say there was no disappointment - food, drinks, service were all excellent.
The Strawberry Hula drink my wife got - I would have ordered a pitcher of that particular libation if we could have.
I really liked the Koko Moco, my wife really liked the Breakfast Bibimbap, and the Greatest Hash Browns were great too.
Cudos to our server, Maddy 'Mad Dog' - she was wonderful and I really liked her personality even though we only interacted for a short time.
Also - gave the Kitchen People some direct love - threw $5 in their 'Beer Fund' jar and they rang their bell and celebrated enthusiastically!
This place I thought just had soul - good food and a great team from the door to the kitchen.

Yes, there will probably be a wait. Recommend that you get on the waitlist before arriving. Worth the wait. Food is really good, with interesting spins on familiar dishes. There were more things I wanted to try than I could eat.
