This place is sooooo good!!! Got to try it! Their house sauce ‘Bubba Sauce” IS AMAZING!!! definitely would come back. They are a little pricey so keep that in mind

This place is a absolute must try! The fish is fresh!. I had the catfish and shrimp sandwich with a side of fried okra . I also had a side of coleslaw and Mac and cheese. Everything was good Flava. The seasoning could be taken up a notch but other than that. It was a good one in my book. I'll definitely visit again.

Food is always good their customer service is nice and friendly. My favorite seafood spot in the area!

Had a mid afternoon lunch on 3/8 with out if town family. It was a first time for all of us and very surprised. The food was awesome and done exactly as it should be. Bubba Shrimp is definitely going to be a return visit when I want to have some seafood.
The owner and staff are concerned with your experience and for the first time we actually got to have a conversation with them. Well worth the 5 star rating they have.

They offer a large variety of food, great customer service, and everything came out quick, fresh, and hot! I got the shrimp and crab cake basket, with fries and coleslaw. Everything was delicious, especially the crab cake. The owner told me it was her grandmother’s recipe, and let me tell you, grandma knew what she was doing! The Bubba’s sauce was also delicious! 10/10, would recommend!

Great service and food. Very friendly and clean environment for any occasion. Easy to read food options with precise pricing. Minimal wait time for orders and user friendly self service area with fountain drinks and alcohol options. Great music with nautical decorative features and creativity. Dining here is made simple and comfortable!

Found this spot on google maps, staff was nice and pleasant first time trying the food, I ordered To Go Carry Out, the fried catfish with fries, a catfish taco and fried shrimp taco. Hmmm very well cooked fresh and hot, I’ll try the desert and the side items next time I visit. I love trying next restaurant, It was a good experience.

Just right Old Bay seasoned, steamed shrimp for two of us, lightly breaded shrimp for the other, and crabcakes perfectly seasoned and not overly breaded. Coleslaw was just the right combination of sweet and tangy. Better seafood than some fine dining seafood establishments!

Staff was awesome. Very clean and food came out fast for take out. However this is where the disappointment comes in. I ordered an oyster basket. They were Way over cooked and too much salt in seasoning and not enjoyable. Consistency of a fried liver.

2nd review. I met with owner as she made up with these oysters. Cooked perfectly and very plump and delicious. That sauce was incredible! Top 2 choices in Va Beach to get oysters. Again the store was VERY clean. Will go back again.

So……. The food was so damn good idgaf about nothing else. Before I left, I felt my eyelids get heavy. The cashier and server were good. The ambiance could’ve been better but when you walk in, KNOW YOU’RE ABOUT TO GET FED!!!!!

Look at the photos. You see lots of empty space. The food never stood a chance. If you’re looking for some fire seafood, good atmosphere, and quality service, this place is worth the try. It’s turning into my regular Sunday hangout spot. 10 outta 10 A1!

If you love seafood you need to try this place!! Their food is served fresh and seasoned to perfection. For sure me and my boyfriend’s new favorite go to spot and their homemade bubbas sauce is perfect with fish fries or chicken!

Everyone is kind and very friendly! The oyster taco was delicious and the slaw inside is very yummy. The oysters were cooked perfectly and were crispy. My son said he loved the hush puppies and that they were better than other hush puppies he’s had.

Very good baskets of fish and a really good menu. Captains basket was delicious and the Bubba sauce went great with everything. You can also get a la carte pieces of fish if you don't want all the sides. They do serve alcohol with a nice selection of local beer and old favorites. They also have house cocktail. The oyster tacos were good and every fried oyster was nice and plump. We liked the green beans as a side choice and the cole slaw was very good.

This is an awesome place for seafood! Big menu, great variety, excellent price. Plenty of seating options and fun ambience. Worth the visit!

Also, take out is a breeze and they are super fast! This place isn't a far drive and we waited just long enough to pay before the order was ready.

This is my family's favorite spot to have lunch together when they visit. Such a great spot!

Great little gem! I'm not from the area and was looking for a little bur great seafood shack. Bingo, I was not disappointed! The oyster poboy was great! Soft oysters inside and crunchy outside, sweet waffle fries were crispy and fresh. Nice ambience, albeit I did not eat inside. Friendly young woman at the counter. Clean as well. 👍

Didn't see Forest,but the food tasted just as I would imagine Bubba Gump would have wanted. Great.
The grease was clean .and the restrooms were very clean.

Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, AMAZING food. I come here every time I’m in the area and have been known to come multiple times in a row. The food is delicious and of high quality. Recommend!

I didn't get a picture of the founder because they were so hungry but this was so yummy! First time coming her and the service was wonderful! Shrimp taco was very good! Clam strips fried to perfection.
