The nicest dentists, administrative staff and dental hygienists. And, they’re efficient, accurate, professional and good at what they do. And I say this after multiple visits, having had a cleaning, cavities filled and a root canal within a short period of time, and my mouth is much happier for it.
Plus, my dentist explained the procedures in response to my inquisitiveness. It’s so cool what they can do…

I love love love Waialae Dental! They’re open everyday, 7am-7pm and they can always get you in for last minute appointments. It’s super clean, tvs in every room and everyone is so nice and professional. Daniel, Chris, Lea, Flynn, Lucky & Dr. Wong are fabulous! I’m sure everyone else that works there is too, but these are just the ones I know. Thank you for always being so great to me!

After a not-so-great visit at Diamond Head dental clinic, I had a wonderful experience visiting Waialae Dental clinic last week. They were very professional and nice, great communication with the medical staff and I loved the fact that they were honest and kind. Will definitely recommend to all of my friends. I’ve tried out different clinics and it seemed to me that they were trying to get me to come back and get more work done (that I didn’t necessarily needed) and bring more money in… This was not the case here and it made me really happy to see very knowledgeable staff, with positive attitudes and good morals. Wonderful job!

Of all dentist clinics I’ve been too, this clinic is by far the best. Very satisfied with the outcomes of all my sessions here and also customer service is top notch! Definitely recommend coming here!

I've been coming here for a few years and have always had a great experience. I recommend them to everyone . You can always get an appointment and it's great that you can schedule on weekends and early /late. The guys that work the front desk have a contagious happy energy . Mahalo WD!

Todays Date is March 22, 2024 and marks my third year I have been loyal to Waialae Dental Care in Kaimuki! The reasons:

1. Michael and Daniel are so polite and willing to always fit me in with my busy two job work schedule. The have been consistenly kind over the phone and extremely patient with all my many questions and concerns regarding pricing and details about the work that has to be done.

2. At 72 I have been two more than 12 dentists in my lifetime in Hawaii alone and do not tolerate Dental places that do not follow up or are evasive about detailing the work that must be done and why. Some people keep going back to their same old dentist even when they feel that something is not quite right about the procedure or costs.... it's so sad that the "local style" culture is ingrained in us to always say "sorry" or apologize when we are not wrong or even question anybody. To me, Drs. are no longer "gods" to me and are human and we have the right to ask and question what they do.

3. Dr. Belle has been my go to Dr. for the last year and has done marvelous work on extractions, fillings and crowns! I trust Dr. Deguzman as well as she did a complicated root canal and saved my molar. These Drs. are a great part of why I am loyal to Waialae Dental in Kaimuki.

4. Today I saw Dr. Chun and his assistant Kimberly. They were both so kind. Kimberly was an expert doing the XRAYS and those bite wings didn't gouge my mouth like when some x ray technicians force it in to get an xray.Dr. Chun explained why my upper molar was sensitive and I thought was needing a root canal or filling. Dr. Chun carefully explained why the tooth was irriatated and was glad that I saw him before it became the need for a root canal due to inflammation or constant pressure. He carefully reshaped the tooth below and what a difference. Dr. also explained to me that he had a great deal of experience in Oklahoma with hundreds of patients who had severe situations... this made me even more happy to see Dr. Chun as EXPERIENCE is the key. SO many larger dental practices I have visited put fresh young dentists to serve patients so that the office can "move people through the conveyor belt to increase billings.

5. Next I get to meet Sarina who has the job of delivering the cost of the xrays and service for the day. I was so delighted ith the final cost and the way she explained to me with kindness why the prices we such and how to save money.

As an experienced older person with a mouth full of trouble due to age and abuse eating corn nuts and chewing on bones and tendons, I can tell you that Kaimuki Dental in Waialae is the BEST PLACE to go....

Always a great time coming here, exceptional service with plenty aloha! Michael and Arianna are awesome and provide such a warm and inviting environment at the front end of things. As well as the staff in the back from the assistants, to the hygienist, to the Doc on for the day, great people, providing efficient and high quality service! I somewhat reluctantly switched dentists out of a need for more flexible scheduling. I certainly have been pleased with the service at Waialae Dental Care and have been going there over a year now. Cleaning have been $0 each time (with insurance), and any work I have had to have done beyond that has been very reasonable. I really appreciate how the staff follow up with multiple appointment reminders. They also have consistently been on time when I have gone, and even have taken me early when I've arrived before the scheduled time. The dentists and techs are all professional and I've received great service and answers to all of my questions. Highly recommend.

First time here, the staff are all so friendly. They made me feel welcomed. Customer service is what I look for because my job is about that. Heline was so friendly and while the Doctor was analyzing my xray, she kept me company by talking stories and such wonderful women. Brittany and the hygienist was wonderful as well. Dr. Scott was quick with my extraction and just over all I will recommend this place to my family and friends.

Really liked my experience with this dental clinic. Staff is very helpful. Appointments are on time. Dr Chun took his time to explain my issue. I also feel they are honest - do not push you to opt for services you don't need.

I absolutely love this place and I am HUGE on customer service because I’ve won awards in that area. They will give you a blanket if you’re cold so heads up; it gets a bit chilly! This place honestly has left me ecstatic. I need a lot of work and they have exceeded my expectations. They have also set the bar for dental care, yes, they are that good. Whoever does the hiring at this place is spot-on. Wow, what a great crew! Dylan, Fay, Mae at the front, Dr. Downs and the rest of the crew I encountered (all front desk staff) are super friendly, extremely professional, caring, and accommodating, they even add extra procedures that would normally have required for me to return more than once - during my time of visit, when they can. So far, it’s been both times. Efficient af, clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. They also send text reminders of appointments even several hours before! Recommend times 10!!!

I’m a new patient at this practice and my first visit was wonderful. Everyone was so kind and they made sure I got the work I needed done. I went in for teeth cleaning, they saw my fillings needed replaced and did it on the spot. At my old dentist you would have to schedule another visit. I saw Dr. Tyler Morgan, he was so fun and made me feel comfortable. Neomi cleaned my teeth, she did a great job and was so kind. The front desk was also very helpful and treated me with respect (hard to find when you’re a college student). Definitely coming back here!

This was definitely the most pleasant dental experience I've ever had. Everyone working there was incredibly kind and helpful, and the dentists were very careful and continuously told me what they were going to do and when and made sure I wasn't feeling any pain or sensitivity. Unlike other dentists I've been to, there was no shaming here for the status of my flossing habits (which actually makes me want to floss)! I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Everyone was so nice and helpful. I called in the morning, had an appointment that same evening and was able to receive treatment as well. Love that they offer evening appointments and all have great attitudes. I’m very insecure about my teeth felt very at ease during my entire visit. So glad to have finally found good dental care

This is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. Everyone who works here is exceptional! Special mention to the ones who helped me directly, who were so compassionate and knowledgeable— phenomenal Macy did not hurt me one bit and was incredibly kind and amazing at her job! Kuni was also great at taking impressions and was so sweet! Dr. Morgan is the best dentist I have ever seen and his fantastic personality, industry-leading experience and overall professionalism are what make him the top Dentist on the island. Mae is who caused me to decide to go with them because she was so professional but sweet and understanding plus her kind and positive manner and the way she made sure i was taken care of and was able to work with me to make sure I got the best value—-The Best!!! My husband and I were very happy with waialae dental. They work as a team and very professional! They are also very clean and constantly sanitize. Treatment plans were broken down for us at prices we thought were very affordable compared to our previous dental office we use to see. Very happy we made the switch and also very happy with our first visit.

They have put together a solid team at Wai'alae Dental Care. It took 12 minutes after my appointment time to start the cleaning process. I think Jen gave me the best cleaning I've ever had. She was super quick yet slowed down at the gum line; all with zero discomfort or pain. I usually get jabbed several times at other dentists.

The first phase of my crown went very quickly and painlessly as well. It seemed like the dentist and assistant were highly versed in the process judging by their communication. Throughout the whole visit I was impressed with the friendly, polite and profesional attitude of each team member around me.

One of the best dental care office in Oahu. Open until 9pm during weekdays and even open on weekends. Don't have to take your lunch hours to visit this office - just go after your work. All of the people are extremely nice here - can't say enough good things about this place. Had my deep cleaning done, got my cavity fixed and got my crown done. All work done flawlessly. Highly recommended.

An amazing dental office. I wish I got everyone’s names but I want to shout out the amazing team that was work on Tuesday 5/10. I was so scared due to a dental emergency I was having and although they didn’t accept my insurance, they helped me so much in doing all they could to help me with my emergency cost free. Would recommend this clinic to anyone looking for dental work as they are extremely thoughtful, thorough, and made my day with the kindness they showed me.

Friendly staff. Provided good work. Teeth cleaned well, no fuss no muss!!! X-rays were quick and efficient. The doctor was thorough in examining my teeth and gums. Provided me with information on options for taking care of my old fillings by capping my tooth that needed most care. Overall my visit was pleasant and quick. Thank you Waialae Dental Care !!!😁😁😁😁
