JJ SQUARED Bakery

This bakey is by far the best I've ever been to! I highly recommend anyone to visit. The cake I ordered is phenomenal & taste amazing, made exactly as i requested. I didn't expect it to have strawberries on the inside, and it was a wonderful birthday surprise for my daughter! It's definitely not a basic cake that you get from any overpriced cake shop. Also suggest you try their honey oolong tea & tuna ham sandwich, I order it nearly every time I go! Enjoy!

The bread is a constant reminder that Taiwan is on my heart. I love that bread. I can sit there and have delicious drinks and authentic Taiwanese bakery baked goods. They sell cakes too. Besides Starbucks, 7-11, getting jiPai (chicken cutlet), I loved getting bakery baked goods when I lived in Taiwan!

I had the lucky chance to taste almost everything in this establishment. This is an Asian style of desserts, if you know what that means. Less sugar and more fluffy. Mango Mousse is my favorite

Good costumer service, all the pastries I tried were very fresh and great authentic flavors. I also had an ice dessert and I love it so much. Over all very tasty and unique flavors for a great value. I would love to come here whenever I'm around. Also I would love to find out if they have any other locations so I can visit it.

Yummy and affordable Chinese style bakery. Their breads are SO soft and fluffy. Got the buttermilk buns and coconut buns which were tasty and perfectly sweetened. Just wished they had seating and restroom access

Absolutely love everything about this place except the lack of parking. You need to park at another location and walk to the storefront.
One reason I love it is sanitation. Everything is individually wrapped and employees wear a mask. I like food places that employees wear a mask or face shields so we are not all sharing saliva.
They do run out of things and make specific pastries certain times of day. They are always friendly. It pays to call ahead if you are craving a specific item.

Fantastic baked goods like Chinese style buns and cakes. My favorite is the taro cream roll for $6.50...the creamy taro filling is divine and the sponge cake is so light and fluffy.

We also enjoy their strawberry mochi at $5.50 each....lots of fresh cream slice of sponge cake and a lovely strawberry all wrapped up by this chewy mochi layer on the outside. Absolutely delicious but just a little pricey, imho.

Service is also excellent. Since our apartment is across from the bakery, I went back for their taro roll but they were out. The girl said they can make one up for me for the next day .....so accomodating ! We appreciate it their help ...all for just a little roll.

During our visit for the month, we must have visited JJ Bakery at least 3 times and will do so again when we return on our next visit.

A great variety of Taiwanese pastries, quite similar to Brug across the street but much more delicious and cheaper. They also have tea beverages, smoothies so you could get a full breakfast from there.

10/10 my favorite cakes on the island. I am addicted to them. Super fluffy and moist. So many times that I want cake it's 10 minutes before they close. I wish they would expand their hours to maybe 6:30pm or 7pm 😭😭 this is the 4th time I'm in the mood for JJ's and I look at the time and it's 5:50pm and it takes me 15 minutes to get there 💔💔 right now I'm writing this because I was craving it but it's 5:58pm 😢 I will have to wait till tomorrow now :( I included pictures I have taken on the other days I have gone in or got as takeout. My favorite is the Coffee (has real coffee flavor ) and Black Forest

Great selection of bakery items. Bought a couple for Christmas morning and dessert after dinner! Créme Brulée and Tiramisu, and a roll for Xmas morning without mimosas!

Found right across from Walgreens, this bakery is very conveniently located. It has the typical pastries that most Asian bakeries have including a variety of milk teas.

The seating is a bit limited with a few tables and single seats. The majority of the space is dedicated to a queue line. There were never any lines I had to wait in the times I went though.

The food looks very clean and neatly packaged. You come in, pick a few pastries and stand in line to pay for it. It is very streamlined and straightforward. The milk tea was also very good. The worker came out to deliver it, which was very nice.

The one problem I had, besides the seating space, was the variety of pastries there. I was looking forward to things with a bit more sustenance like a charsiu bao. However it is only a mild issue for me.

I very much enjoyed this store and will come again if I can. The location and the convenience of the bakery is very good.

Last minute order with JJ Squared Bakery and I am BLOWN AWAY!

I live on the East Coast and had to order a last minute cake for my brother who was getting eloped! Within 1.5 hours from my initial call, the cake was made, designed, and delivered to their home.

The customer service was impeccable and I couldn't offer a better review.

Rivals some of the best pineapple cakes from Taiwan itself. Highly recommend for this product alone.

I like their pineapple bun buttermilk filled and cheese toast! Drinks are good too. You can add Boba (tapioca) or azuki in your drink

I can honestly say without equivocation. The people that work here are the most accommodating of any store that I go into. They try to help you any way they can. They will allow you to order something in advance so that you have it when you need it. They will always offer a solution to any problem you have. Their bakery items are not overly sweet. This is important for diabetics. I highly highly recommend you go there for your bakery needs!!!

Holy moly this place is amazing. The baked goods are unbelievably fresh and delicious!

Nice little Japanese-style bakery, with savory and sweet options, as well as tea and coffee. The texture of the cheese breads is excellent. Benches outside give a nice place for a quick outdoor breakfast.
