Lovely spot. Nicely marked paths and a bit of history. I liked the info boards along the way.

Beautiful hike. My only problem was with the parking situation. *So* little parking (a little dirt inlet kind of carved out at the mouth of the trail, fits about 3 compact cars and a dirt bike), and just fair warning- there's not enough room to pull your vehicle off and park on the side of the street- your car will still stick way out into the road, enough to be a traffic hazard and potentially be considered ticket potential. Not a whole lot of options, except if that trail is busy there are a few others less than a minute or two, all near Blackmoore Pond, I believe. The Alltrails app or website has helped me find alternate trails in several similar instances, I saw a few good prospects on my way to this one. Good luck! If you are lucky enough to find a place to leave your wheels, it's beautiful, well worth it.

Decent flat trail. Few soft "wet" spots but overall in good condition.

Nice easy to walk trail that ends at a former train bridge. I went during the week and didn't see any other people which is a bonus.

Very, very wet, ware boots. Not all trails are marked well

Side trails need some trimming, with so many other places to visit not sure I would go back.

The metal bridge should have two railings. It was not safe to take 2 young kids & 2 dogs which made the walk very short!!

Narrow paths, narrow bridge with rail on only one side, had to turn around and go home - dogs got covered with ticks, even though they take tick medication.
