Pie Heaven Bakery Cafe

4/2024: Visiting Jacksonville Beach again and stopped by this pie heaven. Wish I could work here just so I can smell the fresh baked pies both sweet and savory 😁. Will continue coming here every time we visit Jacksonville, FL. This visit we picked up our favorite Country Chocolate plus Bourbon pecan chocolate and Strawberry rhubarb.

8/2023: Stopped by on a Friday afternoon right before the quick storm came by and wanted try some real homemade pies. As soon as you come in the bakery the smell of freshly baked pies hits and is so heavenly. We got the country chocolate and coconut custard which were both amazing. My kids devoured the country chocolate as I take my time enjoying the coconut custard pie. We’ll definitely be back to try the other savory and sweet pies.

A definite yummy treat! Don’t wait to give them a try. It was a great visit- service was friendly and helpful. Cafe was cozy and relaxing.
We ate at the cafe- there was a small dining area inside with two tables to enjoy our treat. They provided us forks. There was a nice fresh selection to pick from.
We had a small pie - Strawberry- Rhubarb a nice blend of fruits- yes another Northerner who has enjoyed years of this dessert. They did a great job. We also shared a Reese Peanut Butter small pie.
The small pie is a perfect size to share.
Anxious to come back and try some other flavors.
Parking can be a little challenge if they are busy.

Pies are all homemade and delicious. I tried the strawberry rhubarb pie and the coconut cream..

Then I had the spaghetti pie and Sheppard’s pie as well. Everything tasted good, my only complaint was that I wish that she would’ve use different meat in the spaghetti pie but that was the best out of the two pies. I can’t wait to go back. It’s very easy to miss, it’s not a fancy place but a cute little small house tucked away in the corner and the owner is a very nice woman.

We got to chat for a little while and it was nice to find out that she was a true Christian woman. I pray that god blesses her business to expand and grow.

The chicken pot pie is DELICIOUS! Great service as well. We tried the chocolate bourbon pecan pie as well and it was great. The crust is the perfect balance of flakey, flavorful and was not too thin or too thick.

When I saw the sign "Pie Heaven" I pulled into the parking area and said to myself, "oh really? I'll be the judge of whether it's heavenly pie." Haha, it is so aptly named, the pies are delicious, made from scratch, the people working there couldn't be sweeter and they always have a kind word for their customers! Love this place and Highly recommend it.

These pies are the best I've ever tasted and have tried almost a dozen of their flavors. They're delicately flavored and not overly sweet while tasting the genuine fruit in every bite. I strongly recommend and teavel across town for their pies!

I’m changing my review from 1 star to 5 because Pie Heaven absolutely redeemed themselves when they called back and were able to place my order. I haven’t even had the pie yet. This updated review is based solely on my experience as soon as I walked walked up to the front door today (8/20/21). First of all, this place is just covered in southern charm. From the beautiful blue house to the red door and plants with American flags, Pie Heaven was quite welcoming and it felt like home. When you walk in you are instantly greeted with, dare I say, HEAVENLY smells along with big smiles and a hearty welcome. This charming little bakery is a home away home. Again, I have yet to try the pies I ordered but simply based on my first visit I can tell they’re going to be absolutely delectable. I’ve already told 5 of my friends AND my mother-in-law so now of course they are all looking forward to the journey I’m going to inevitably be on as I take my first bite of the pineapple fluff and later the Reese’s peanut butter pie.

Would’ve liked to give a proper review but I can’t. This review is based solely on the business’ reply, or a rather lack there of. I called yesterday, Saturday, August 14th, listened to the voicemail greeting which provided hours of operations along with the timeframe the business would call back, and left a message. The voicemail greeting stated that during business hours someone would call back within 2 hours unless they are closed. Given that I did my due diligence to check their “website,” which is a Facebook page, and hours of operations online, and listened to their voicemail greeting, I had left my message at 11:01 am and expected a call back “within 2 hours.” It is now Sunday and I have still not received a call back. Of course, they aren’t open until Tuesday. At this point, it is apparent that they don’t call back within the hours as indicated on their voicemail greeting. Don’t think I’ll be doing business here.

This is a gem of a place! Quality matches price point, friendly and knowledgeable staff! Ireland is a great host! The pies are delicious,the crust superb! I had the quiche, simply heavenly!

My sister discovered this charming bakery café when looking for a last minute gift for a dinner party. She bought a pie for the dinner only to discover that her host had also bought one from the same store because it was her favourite pie shop.

Pies are available by the slice or whole (large or small) and they can be made gluten free. The selection changes daily and seasonally as the store uses the freshest ingredients and does everything by hand from scratch. The service is friendly and the store supports charities that feed children.

You will have a hard time selecting. My family had a reunion in April and ordered several different slices and pies. My sister's favourites are the caramel apple pie and the chocolate bourbon pecan. My brother-in-law loved the margarita key lime pie and I liked the chili and corn bread pie, the chocolate cloud, and the coconut cream. The wild Maine blueberry pie and the chicken pot pie were also big hits.

Don't miss this treasure filled place if you're in Jacksonville.

Amazing food, friendly staff. Definitely will be going back. The margarita keylime pie was amazing and the quiche was the best I’ve ever had!

The fruit pies were UNBELIEVABLY FRESH! The strawberries were still firm yet tender. Pies are flavorful and baked to showcase the fruits natural flavors and sweetness! Pies were not mushy or overly sugared.

Picked up strawberry pie (pie of the day), chocolate pie (chocolatey but not sugar coma inducing), banana cream pie, coconut cream pie, cherry pie, berry pie, peach pie and apple pie!

The crusts are EXACTLY how the previous reviews described. Tender, flakes, buttery and structured not crumbly.

Homemade pies like grandma makes it style bakery is worth EVERY DOLLAR! Perfect way to celebrate my birthday. Any foodie who appreciates traditional baking techniques will fall in love with the personal touches on each pie and the freshness of every ingredient.

This is the place to get some pie! We had the Peanut Butter, Lemon Meringue, Chess, Pecan and Easter pies for our Easter holiday and they were all amazing.

I stopped in today after years of driving past and saying I should go funny enough someone walked in right after me, and said the same thing! For anyone who has also been driving by saying they should check it out do yourself a favor and go! The staff were so sweet and the pies are amazing It was cool that they had both savory and sweet. I got the strawberry rhubarb and my fiancé got the chocolate bourbon pecan both are incredible. Will be going back for birthday pies and to get the chicken pot pie soon!

Highly recommend. I’m a Minnesotan and we make great pies up there. This place tastes even better than home. Pecan, strawberry rhubarb, and chicken pot pie are my favorite.

Very good pie. The workers are very friendly and sweet. All of the pies are made from scratch. Delicious. Pies are pretty expensive though, a whole pie was like $38. Worth a try!
