WeCare Salon Cafe

I am here on a Sunday, it’s 1:30pm and they ran out of all “produce” - no veggies, no fruits, no bacon, no grits. The only thing I could order was anything that has eggs, cheese, toast, waffles, or pancakes. So I could just be creative and asked for an egg, sausage and cheese omelet with toast. Far cry from either the shrimp & grits or spinach & mushroom omelet I had wanted to order! Now it’s not the staff’s or cook’s fault but this place is supposedly open until 6pm (per hours on Yelp) but I was told they close at 3pm; and they are out of almost all!
I was even excited since I have dropped by a couple of times before and they were somehow closed on those days, even when Yelp hours show they’re open!
This turns out to be a quick anecdote of redemption - an experience that could easily be disappointing turned out to be great after all. The ambiance is good. Bright and clean inside. There is counter seating and some cushioned bench seating against the front entrance windows; and ample seating for about 25 to 30 people.
There are 3 TV monitors turned on, one showing sports, another music videos and the third seems to be National Geographic or some nature show.
The redemption part comes in where the cook whipped up a wonderful omelet (not overcooked and dry). The toast quite simple if you think about it, but it was cooked perfectly - right about of toast with the right amount of butter. Some places would have either burnt the toast or put too much butter it becomes soggy.
Oh and I need to tell you, the wait staff washed her hands every time she touched the plate - before serving and before taking the plate away…so much more health conscious and responsible than most restaurants where wait staff don’t wash their hands bringing food to the table, taking dirty plates away, cleaning the tables, putting things away…
When it came time to pay, I was charged only $5 - for the inconvenience of not having all the ingredients for all their other menu items - now THAT is great public relations!

A HUGE 5 stars for this cafe! Staff is extremely sweet and have such great hospitality. A new hidden gem! I felt welcome immediately walking in, and I can tell they treat all their customers like family! My guava mimosa was fantastic and so well needed for my day! The breakfast all day is definitely a new favorite! I ordered the French toast platter and it was made soooooo yummy from chef Duan Moore and perfect for my Tuesday afternoon! Something about this French toast definitely made me feel so at home and hit the spot perfectly! I will absolutely come back again soon!

We ate there today for the first time. It was AMAZING!!! The shrimp was so tasty and the cheesesteak was full of meat! I would highly recommend trying this place, soon. You won’t be disappointed. Can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu!!! A+++++

I loved it! The Service was spectacular . The food was good, they have a small bar and coffee section to enjoy as well. I love the salon and cafe concept. You get a full salon experience along with 2 complimentary beverages. They are versatile when it comes to hair as well, All hair types are welcome.

My family and I were blown away! First, I loved that it wasn’t busy. We were able to eat peacefully outside without a crowd. Which I loved. Second, the customer service was hands down amazing. Everyone was so nice, and constantly checking if we were doing okay. I think literally every worker spoke to us at some point. Now, the food. The food was so goooood. As well as, the plate presentation. Just so yummy and refreshing. I’m definitely coming back.

The food was delicious and hot. The bacon was cooked perfectly just as I asked. The delivery was very quick. I also had to call the restaurant to ask a question and the staff was pleasant as well as polite. This is my new favorite breakfast spot!!!

I love this place!! I have been a customer for about a year.. The atmosphere is always festive and everyone is always so nice and cheery. They love what they do and they are the best at it. Going there is like going over to hang out with your girlfriends. And you can even get q bite to eat at their Cafe next door and sing some karaoke. We Care really does care!

The name does NOT pour on the trophy gold this place deserves. At first I thought it was a kiddie type environment but I went in!!!🤩😛😍. First the welcoming front is seating in a gated area.... so romantic as it's inset from the sidewalk. Inside is SO FLIPPING COOL!!!!! 😎👍 One side accent wall, kitchen and bar. Very intimate setting with just enough space for some friendly social distancing allowed company. Low and high top chairs...No echos therefore our conversations were easy and comfortable. The FOODS, THE FOODS OMG!🤯 All I can say is you haven't lived until you get those signature dishes 😍😋😍

Only place in a while that I’ve been too that gives you a lot of food for a little bit of money. Black owned too which is a huge plus.

There is also a salon and a juice bar that I’m looking forward to going too!

I was looking at the reviews and was a little hesitant to go. But let me tell you the customer service is EXCELLENT!!! And the food is like my granny was in the kitchen!! I can’t make this up. I will definitely be back!!!

I visited for the first time today. I ordered a meal to go. The fried chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious!! The staff was very friendly!! Prices are very reasonable. I definitely will be back.

I'm appauled that this Cafe' has a 4 star rating when this deserves a 5 star all around. Let's see where do I start, there's wonderful customer service, the facility is comfty and clean, the prices are out of this world, and not to mention the delicious food made with authentic fresh ingredients. What more can you ask for? Go to a regular fast food restaurant you get fake, recycled, food and the food dont even measure up to the prices half the time. Let alone poor customer service sometimes. WeCare Salon Cafe' is the #1 restaurant to be! Would I mind traveling here again for some good food? The answer is no! WeCare Salon Cafe' has a customer for life!

Wow, this is the place to eat. LARSPUR Middle School stop there for breakfast and lunch you will not be sorry. My drive from stumpy lake area to the restaurant was well worth the gas! Huge portions of food and the staff simply awesome!

The bacon burger was delicious!! Cooked beautifully!! If you are looking for a traditional chef salad do NOT order it from here.

I've been her several times for their breakfast, today was a great experience. Short stack and bacon were fabulous.

Very good food. The owners are very nice. Prices are very reasonable. This just might be my new favorite spot.
